ALL I KNOW

Sandy Knight

Once a man blind from birth, merely a beggar here on earth,
Until the Master made his blinded eyes to see.
When they questioned him of how his blinded eyes were open now,
"All I know is I was blind, but now I see."

All I know is my eyes were blinded,
Then he touched me and I've never been the same.
I know not how He does such things, yet I believe.
All I know is I was blind, but now I see.

Once I stood in the night, the path of love I could not find,
But now I wander down that darkened path no more.
Now the steps I take are sure, for in Him I am secure.
All I know is I was blind, but now I see.

All I know is my eyes were blinded,
Then he touched me and I've never been the same.
I know not how He does such things, yet I believe.
All I know is I was blind, but now I see.

WHEN FAITH STEPS IN

Author?

When you call on One who you cannot see
And you give Him your heart for eternity
That’s when….. faith begins
When you turn away from all of your sin
And you trust in the Lord to cleanse you within
That’s when….. faith begins

In child-like trust, you hold out your hand
Simply believing salvation's plan
When you feel you can’t go on another day
Yet still somehow you kneel down and pray
That’s when….faith steps in

When all seems lost; there is no hope in sight
But still you sing all through the night
That’s when….faith steps in

Faith brings joy and peace in the midst of the storm
It sends out a lifeline when you are tossed and worn
When you say goodbye to your dearest friend
And through tear-filled eyes you say, "I will see them again"
That’s when….faith steps in

When you take your last breath in this world down here
And you close your eyes without any fear
That’s when….faith steps in

Faith will carry you where feet have never trod
Safely to Heaven into the arms of God
When you open your eyes to that heavenly scene
And you realize it isn’t a dream
That’s when….faith will end

When you gaze on him face to face
And you rest in his sweet embrace
That’s when….faith will end
That’s when….faith will end

TEARS ARE A LANGUAGE

Gordon Jensen

Often you’ve wondered why tears come into your eyes
And burdens seem to be much more than you can stand.
But God is standing near, He sees your falling tears.
Tears are a language God understands.

God sees the tears of a broken-hearted soul.
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall.
God weeps along with man and takes him by the hand
Tears are a language God understands.

When grief has left you low, it causes tears to flow.
When things have not turned out the way that you had planned.
But God won’t forget you, His promises are true.
Tears are a language God understands.

God sees the tears of a broken-hearted soul.
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall.
God weeps along with man and takes him by the hand
Tears are a language God understands.

I LIFT MY HANDS

LOUIE GIGLIO, CHRIS TOMLIN, MATT MAHER

Be still, there is a healer
His love is deeper than the sea
His mercy, it is unfailing
His arms, a fortress for the weak
Let faith arise
Let faith arise

I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge, You are my strength
As I pour out my heart
These things, I remember
You are faithful, God, forever

Be still, there is a river
That flows from Calvary's tree
A fountain for the thirsty
Pure grace that washes over me
Let faith arise
Let faith arise

I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge; You are my strength
As I pour out my heart
These things, I remember
You are faithful, God, forever

Be still, there is a river
That flows from Calvary's tree
A fountain for the thirsty
Pure grace that washes over me

Let faith arise, let faith arise
Open my eyes, open my eyes
Let faith arise, let faith arise
Open my eyes, open my eyes

And I lift my hands to believe again
You are my refuge; You are my strength
As I pour out my heart
These things, I remember
You are faithful, God
You are faithful, God, forever

YOUR CRIES HAVE AWOKEN THE MASTER

Rebecca Isaacs Bowman and Sonya Isaacs

Crossing the calm sea with Jesus,
The disciples were getting concerned,
The winds started violently blowing,
But He was asleep in the stern,
Does he not care that we perish?
We're helpless, and we're so afraid,
Jesus arose when they called Him,
And said to them, "Where is your faith?"

Because you've prayed all night,
Because you've held on with all of your might,
Child, your cries have awoken the Master.
Oh, He knows your voice;
Lift your hands it's time to rejoice,
Child your cries have awoken the Master.

It hit you without any warning,
The storm of your life had begun,
Seeing no hope in the distance,
You're frightened with nowhere to run,
By now your vessel is filling,
And you're thinking that you'll surely drown,
You've cried out for help from the Savior,
And you know you can't give up now

Because you've prayed all night,
Because you've held on with all of your might,
Child, your cries have awoken the Master.
Oh, He knows your voice;
Lift your hands it's time to rejoice,
Child your cries have awoken the Master.

You're up there worried that He's fast asleep,
The wind's are so deadly, the water's so deep,
But try to be patient 'cause soon He'll bring peace,
Just one word from His voice, and it all must cease.

Because you've prayed all night,
Because you've held on with all of your might,
Child, your cries have awoken the Master.
Oh, He knows your voice;
Lift your hands it's time to rejoice,
Child your cries have awoken the Master.

I STAND AMAZED (HOW MARVELOUS)

Charles H. Gabriel

I stand amazed in the presence
Of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me,
A sinner, condemned, unclean.

How marvelous! How wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
How marvelous! How wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!

For me it was in the garden
He prayed: “Not My will, but Thine.”
He had no tears for His own griefs,
But sweat drops of blood for mine.

In pity angels beheld Him,
And came from the world of light
To comfort Him in the sorrows
He bore for my soul that night.

How marvelous! How wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
How marvelous! How wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!

He took my sins and my sorrows,
He made them His very own;
He bore the burden to Calv’ry,
And suffered and died alone.

When with the ransomed in glory
His face I at last shall see,
’Twill be my joy through the ages
To sing of His love for me.

How marvelous! How wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
How marvelous! How wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!

FOR EVERY CROSS THERE IS A CROWN

 Mark Bishop

Every step I take I know I'm drawing nearer
For the thoughts of worldly wealth mean less each day.
The things I use to think were so important
Now they seem to just be in the way.
I'm so glad He offered all of us salvation
For we'd have no hope if he had not come down
He sees each and every problem,
Every burden that we carry
And He whispers, "Soon you'll trade them for a crown."

Though the road is long and hard and I may stumble
And the world claims victory when I am down
Through it all I'm still clinging to that promise
For every cross there is a crown.

The decision's yours; be careful how you make it
There's a choice to make, and you must take a stand
There are a million souls who die without salvation
And they would trade the world away for one more chance.
The greatest miracle taken for granted
Is that the Son of God has died for you and me
And though the world tries to ignore Him,
I will shout how I adore Him
Though the devil rages, Jesus I'll believe.

Though the road is long and hard and I may stumble
And the world claims victory when I am down
Through it all I'm still clinging to that promise
For every cross there is a crown.

FAITH KEEPS WALKING ON

Jim Brady, Tony Wood, Don Portress

Worry only sees the wind and troubled water
Regret keeps lookin’ back searchin’ for the shore
Fear might only find a sky that’s full of lightning
Faith keeps walkin’ on...lookin’ to the Lord

You took a chance; you heard the Master callin’
Now you’re doin’ something different than you’ve done before
Stepped out of the boat and now the sky is fallin’
Don’t stop doin’ the impossible; keep lookin’ to the Lord

Worry only sees the wind and troubled water
Regret keeps lookin’ back searchin’ for the shore
Fear might only find a sky that’s full of lightning
Faith keeps walkin’ on...lookin’ to the Lord

Just keep movin’ closer to the One
Who waits with open arms
Keep your eyes fixed on the Son
When you’re standin’ in the storm

Worry only sees the wind and troubled water
Regret keeps lookin’ back searchin’ for the shore
Fear might only find a sky that’s full of lightning
Faith keeps walkin’ on...lookin’ to the Lord

PRAY NOW

Karen Peck-Gooch, Dave Clark & Michael Farren

There are things in every journey that can break us
There are burdens that can bring us to our knees
But it's in those moments when our faith feels weakest
That we simply stand our ground and just believe

Pray now
Pray now
Right here in the storm
He's still the same
Pray now
Pray now
There is strength and power in Jesus name
So pray now

Oh, the silence doesn't mean that He's not listening
And the darkness doesn't mean that He is gone
'Cause He promised He would never, ever leave us
And you've never spent one moment on your own

Pray now
Pray now
Right here in the storm
He's still the same
Pray now
Pray now
There is strength and power in Jesus name
So pray now

Our Father in Heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your Kingdom come
Your Will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven

Our Father in Heaven
Hallowed be your name
Your Kingdom come
Your will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven

Pray now
Pray now
Right here in the storm
He's still the same Hallelujah!!
Pray now
Pray now
There is strength and power in Jesus name

THE DEBT

Gerald Crabb and Sue C. Smith

I watched as the soldier’s laid the cross on His back that day
I followed the blood-stained footprints He left as they led Him away
I witnessed the way He surrendered to nails through His hands and His feet
Like a lamb, He was led to the slaughter; what a horrible sight to see

I can’t turn away from His suffering
I can’t turn away from His price
I'll witness each moment of torment
He endured on the day that He died
I'll imagine the way He was wounded
I’ll picture it all for I know
Everything Jesus went through on the cross
Was a horrible debt that I owed

To think of the that it cost Him and cry for the scars He had
To run to be first to serve Him though I know I can’t pay Him back
To live my whole life as a debtor; to think of myself as a slave
That’s the least I can offer to thank Him for the terrible price He paid

So I won’t turn away from His suffering
I won’t turn away from His price
I'll witness each moment of torment
He endured on the day that He died
I’ll imagine the way He was wounded
I’ll picture it all for I know
Everything Jesus went through on the cross
Was a horrible debt that I owed

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe

So I thank Him for all of His suffering
I thank Him for all of His price
I’ll remember each moment of torment
He endured on the day that He died
I’ll imagine the way He was wounded
And I’ll picture it all for I know
Everything Jesus went through on the cross
Was a horrible debt that I owed

For everything Jesus went through on the cross
My life is the debt that I owe
He paid the debt I owe

GRACE

Laura Story

My heart is so proud.
My mind is so unfocused.
I see the things You do through me
As great things I have done.
And now You gently break me,
Then lovingly You take me
And hold me as my Father
And mold me as my Maker.

I ask you: "How many times will you pick me up,
When I keep on letting you down?
And each time I will fall short of Your glory,
How far will forgiveness abound?"
And You answer: "My child, I love you.
And as long as you're seeking My face,
You'll walk in the power of My daily sufficient grace."

At times I may grow weak
And feel a bit discouraged,
Knowing that someone, somewhere
Could do a better job.
For who am I to serve You?
I know I don't deserve You.
And that's the part that burns in my heart
And keeps me hanging on.

You are so patient with me, Lord.

As I walk with You, I'm learning
What Your grace really means.
The price that I could never pay
Was paid at Calvary.
So, instead of trying to repay You,
I'm learning to simply obey You
By giving up my life to you
For all that You've given to me.

I'M GONNA MAKE IT IF I CAN

Mark Bishop

There's a story in the Bible 'bout a man named Job.
Trouble come to visit him a long time ago.
Everybody said, "You must be doin' something wrong.”
Job said, "No, I'm a still holdin' on.”

I'm gonna make it if I can, if I can.
Gonna make it to the promised land if I can.
Though the devil rages, I'm a gonna make a stand
'Cause I'm a gonna make it if I can.

Moses and the Israelites, trying to break free,
Cornered on the banks of the big Red Sea.
"Thank you very much for a mighty, fine mess.”
Moses hollered back "I'm not a givin' up yet!"

I'm gonna make it if I can, if I can.
Gonna make it to the promised land if I can.
Though the devil rages, I'm a gonna make a stand
'Cause I'm a gonna make it if I can.

When everything you do seems to fall apart,
Here's a little song you can take it to your heart.
Take it to the bank, it'll be ok.
It worked back then, it'll still work today.

I'm gonna make it if I can, if I can.
Gonna make it to the promised land if I can.
Though the devil rages, I'm a gonna make a stand
'Cause I'm a gonna make it if I can.

WHEN NOTHING BUT A MIRACLE WILL DO

Author Unknown

When you've tried everything, and everything you've tried has failed,
When you're standing at the harbor, and the ship of hope has sailed;
You friends have no answers, and peace just can't be found,
Oh, but, there's a hand of mercy that can turn it all around.

When nothing but a miracle will do,
There's nothin' that the hand of God cannot bring you through.
Well, I know He's more than able, and He will deliver you,
When nothing but a miracle will do.

When you cry out in the darkness, and no one seems to hear
Just because you can't see Him doesn't mean He isn't near.
Perhaps He's only waiting 'til you've done all you can do
Until He's the only thing that's left to hold onto.

When nothing but a miracle will do,
There's nothin' that the hand of God cannot bring you through.
Well, I know He's more than able, and He will deliver you,
When nothing but a miracle will do.

In your time of trials, when you face the trial of doubt
Oh, just listen to a crowd of witnesses; you'll hear them crying out;
From a lion's den and a fiery furnace, from the belly of a whale,
Through prison walls at a hopeless turn walks a God who never fails

When nothing but a miracle will do,
There's nothin' that the hand of God cannot bring you through.
Well, I know He's more than able, and He will deliver you,
When nothing but a miracle will do.
Ask Daniel, and Jonah, Peter and Paul,
They're shouting with Lazarus
"He delivered us all!"

When nothing but a miracle will do,
There's nothin' that the hand of God cannot bring you through.
Well, I know He's more than able, and He will deliver you,
When nothing but a miracle will do.

HE LEFT NO STONE UNTURNED

Phil Cross with Josh Johnson and Casey Carpenter

There was a lot to be done in the work of God's Son
So much at stake; He wouldn't make one mistake
The duty assigned was to rescue mankind
He had to do all things well; He would not fail.

He left no stone unturned; He finished everything
No uncompleted tasks in the journal of the King
They tried to stop His work; they even put Him in a grave.
He left no stone unturned, but He left one rolled away.

No rest on the road for the Seeker of the soul
No pillow for the head of the One who raised the dead
To heal the lame and blind required overtime
He worked to the end to be the sinner's friend.

He left no stone unturned; He finished everything
No uncompleted tasks in the journal of the King
They tried to stop His work; they even put Him in a grave.
He left no stone unturned, but He left one rolled away.

From the manger to the mission
From the cross to the grave

He left no stone unturned; He finished everything
No uncompleted tasks in the journal of the King
They tried to stop His work; they even put Him in a grave.
He left no stone unturned, but He left one rolled away.

THE NAIL NOBODY SAW

Mark Bishop

One soldier carried three nails and a hammer
Liked he’d done so often before.
He stared at the man with the cross
That he marched behind.
He looked at the faces of the crowd as they gathered.
He heard their taunts and their jeers.
But he’d heard the rumor that this man committed no crime.

At the top of the hillside, just the murmur of weeping
As they laid that man on the cross.
They bound him as the soldier drew near with the hammer and nails.
As he drew back the hammer, he chanced to glance over
Into eyes that were matted with tears,
And he hated the ring of that hammer each time it fell.

And the sound of the hammer reached Heaven’s throne,
Where the angels were waiting to carry him home.
With only one word, they’d be ten thousand strong.
The world counted three nails, but they counted wrong.
For the nail that nobody saw was the nail that went through His heart.
That was the nail that held Him to the cross.

The angels were waiting.
They were anticipating.
In a moment, they’d be at His side.
But they waited...and they listened.
But he bowed His head and He died.

LOOK UP

Tony Wood, Phil Johnson, and Kevin Stokes

No way to hide from the consequence
Of choices that you made
No way to ignore the evidence
Of things that you can't change
Before you and behind you
There's no hope to be found
All you see are scenes of so much
Sadness all around

Look up -- God is looking on
He sees all you're going through
Look up -- you are not alone
Though it seems that way to you
With your eyes on yourself, hope is far away
But things are beginning to
Look up -- the moment when you
Look up!

I know right now He seems far away
And you wonder if He cares
But all that you've felt through all your days
Are hurts that His heart shares
There's a work of grace and power
You think is out of view
But with faith and forgiveness
Who knows what God may do?

Look up -- God is looking on
He sees all you're going through
Look up -- you are not alone
Though it seems that way to you
With your eyes on yourself, hope is far away
But things are beginning to
Look up -- the moment when you
Look up!

SHELTERED BY HIS GRACE

Jonathan Gary Davis

I've missed out on heartaches this world feels every day
And I've missed out on a broken home that would steal my joy away
I've missed out on all the things they said I'd miss out on
Oh, but somehow, I have a heart of peace while their good times are gone

'Cause I've been sheltered by his grace
Kept in a safe place
Protected by the prayers of those who've always sought his face
And in a world of shifting sand, I can hold onto their hand
For they've guided me in how to run this race
And as the years go on, I'm sheltered by his grace

Grace can take the sin away that stained a soul for years
Grace can keep a life that's pure from shedding bitter tears
And the grace that's brought me safe thus far will safely lead me home
For the truth that they've instilled in me will last when they are gone.

'Cause I've been sheltered by his grace
Kept in a safe place
Protected by the prayers of those who've always sought his face
And in a world of shifting sand, I can hold onto their hand
For they've guided me in how to run this race
And as the years go on, I'm sheltered by his grace

IT MATTERS TO THE MASTER

Author Unknown

When life lets you down, and you feel more broken than whole
When the wounds go deeper than words, and you can't tell a soul
I may not know what you're going through
May not can make that high mountain move
But one thing I've found that I really want you to know

If it matters to you, it matters to the Master
He wants to share the burdens you bear
Whisper peace when your world gets shattered
If it's your greatest joy or your deepest pain
Or you're really needing an answer
If it matters to you, it matters to the Master

Friend, do you think the Maker and giver of life
Is far too busy to care 'bout your trouble and strife?
He sees the sparrow that falls to the ground
And He hears the tears that don't make a sound
If you only knew how precious you are in His sight
If it matters to you, it matters to the Master

He wants to share the burdens you bear
Whisper peace when your world gets shattered
If it's your greatest joy or your deepest pain
Or you're really needing an answer
If it matters to you, it matters to the Master

I CAN SEE HEAVEN

Rough and rocky roads lead to mountains
Sometimes it’s hard to go any further on the way
But I have learned a secret while traveling through this valley
I can hear from heaven when I start to pray.

I can see heaven, I can see home
I can see clear, crystal rivers flowing from the throne
I can hear the angels harmony
I can see heaven waiting for me

Imagine, if you can, a city of perfection
You may have read the plans, oh but there is so much more
The day I came to know Him, that’s when they began construction
On a brand new mansion with my name on the door

I can see heaven, I can see home
I can see clear, crystal rivers flowing from the throne
I can hear the angels harmony
I can see heaven waiting for me
