GOD ON THE MOUNTAIN

Tracy Dartt

Life is easy, when you're up on the mountain
And you’ve got peace of mind
Like you’ve never known
But then things change, and you're down in the valley
Don’t lose faith, child, for you're never alone

For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley
When things go wrong, He’ll make them right
And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times
The God of the day is still God in the night

We talk of faith when we're up on the mountain
But talk comes easy
When life’s at its best
But it's down in the valley of trials and temptations
That’s where faith is really put to the test

For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley
When things go wrong, He’ll make them right
And the God of the good times is still God in the bad times
The God of the day is still God in the night

DEEP, DEEP SEA

Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey

It's a deep, deep sea
It's deeper than the many sins that were condemning me
Its a deep, deep sea
It’s deeper than I ever thought His love could ever be
Sins are erased in this well of grace; it’s the greatest mystery
The sea of God’s forgetfulness is a deep, deep sea

The list of all that I’ve done wrong could stretch a country mile
I spent so many wasted years doing wrong, but all the while
God had me in His keeping and wouldn’t let me go
And when I thought I’d gone too far, He gently let me know

It's a deep, deep sea
It's deeper than the many sins that were condemning me
Its a deep, deep sea
It’s deeper than I ever thought His love could ever be
Sins are erased in this well of grace; it’s the greatest mystery
The sea of God’s forgetfulness is a deep, deep sea

He chooses to forget the things He can’t see any more
It's like my past was in a room where He has sealed the door
And since I have surrendered to mercy’s perfect plan
My sins have been cast out nevermore to be seen again

It's a deep, deep sea
It's deeper than the many sins that were condemning me
Its a deep, deep sea
It’s deeper than I ever thought His love could ever be
Sins are erased in this well of grace; it’s the greatest mystery
The sea of God’s forgetfulness is a deep, deep sea

HEAVENLY PARADE

Our traveling days will soon be over here,
And we shall cross the rolling tide,
For we are down here for just a little while,
Our home is on the other side,
Ambassadors true for Jesus our redeemer,
And it is a love crusade,
For right against wrong, but soon we'll join the throng
In Heaven when the saints parade

LEAD: For Heaven's King, We gladly sing the story old,
Yet ever new in Glory Land,
With that glad band,
We'll promenade in Heaven's parade

TENOR: For Heaven's King, We will gladly sing the story old,
Yet ever new in Glory Land in that fair land,
We'll promenade in Heaven's parade

BARITONE: For Heaven's King of glory, We will gladly sing the story,
Wonderful story is old yet is ever new in Glory Land,
Up yonder with that great and happy band,
We all them will promenade in Heaven in that grand parade

BASS: For Heaven's own King, For Heaven's Holy King,
So gladly we will shout and sing,
The blessed old story, Sing it for His glory,
Tis old yet ever new in Glory Land fair up yonder in the air,
With eternal happy band, We'll promenade there,
And never know a care in Heaven, When the saints parade

So happy are we in telling you, friend
That Jesus can redeem your soul.
From every known sin and make you clean within
Joy billows will then within you roll
A happy new song you will begin to sing
To Jesus, He the way hath made
In Heaven-land fair, we'll have a mansion there
And join up in the saints' parade.

I CAN JUST BE ME

Laura Story and Jason Ingram

I've been doing all that I can
To hold it all together
Piece by piece.
I've been feeling like a failure,
Trying to be braver
Than I could ever be.
It's just not me.

So be my Healer, be my Comfort, be my Peace.
Cause I can be broken, I can be needy,
Lord, I need You now to be,
Be my God, so I can just be me.

I've been living like an orphan,
Trying to belong here,
But it's just not my home.
I've been holding on so tightly,
To all the things that I think
Could satisfy my soul.
But I'm letting go...

So be my Father, my mighty Warrior, be my King.
Cause I can be scattered, frail and shattered,
Lord, I need You now to be,
Be my God, so I can just be me.

Cause I was lost in this dark world
Until I was finally found in You
So now I'm needing, desperately pleading
Oh, Lord, be all to me

And be my Savior, be my Lifeline, won't You be my Everything.
Cause I'm so tired of trying to be someone
I was never meant to be
Be my God
Please be my God
Be my God
So I can just be me

WE BELIEVE

In this time of desperation
When all we know is doubt and fear
There is only One Foundation
We believe, we believe
In this broken generation
When all is dark, You help us see
There is only one Salvation
We believe, We believe

We believe in God the Father
We believe in Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Spirit
And He's given us new life
We believe in the crucifixion
We believe that He conquered death
We believe in the resurrection
And He's comin' back again,
We believe

So, let our faith be more than anthems
Greater than the songs we sing
And in our weakness and temptations
We believe, We believe!

We believe in God the Father!
We believe in Jesus Christ!
We believe in the Holy Spirit!
And He's given us new life!
We believe in the crucifixion!
We believe that He conquered death!
We believe in the resurrection!
And He's comin' back again!

Let the lost be found and the dead be raised!
In the here and now, let love invade!
Let the church live loud; our God we'll say
We believe, We believe!
And the gates of hell will not prevail!
For the power of God, has torn the vail!
Now we know Your love will never fail!
We believe, We believe!

We believe in God the Father
We believe in Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Spirit
And He's given us new life
We believe in the crucifixion
We believe that He conquered death
We believe in the resurrection
And He's comin' back again,
We believe

FLOWER IN THE RAIN

Christopher Neville Eaton

You are the one, there's no one else
Who lifts me up and gives me water from the well
But there's a hole that seems to drain it all away
And once again I'm left in fear and doubt
When all my strength is crying out

So here I am again
Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain
Tell me what have I to do to die and then be raised
To reach beyond the pain like a flower in the rain

The evil wind, it blows a storm
To rock my world just when I think I'm safe and warm
I'm led astray far too easily
It's always hard for me to say I'm wrong
Until I know I can't go on

So here I am again
Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain
Tell me what have I to do to die and then be raised
To reach beyond the pain like a flower in the rain

Lord, You have searched me
And know when I sleep and when I rise
You're familiar with all my ways
Even the darkness will shine like the day
When You look into my heart

So here I am again
Willing to be opened up and broken like a flower in the rain
Tell me what have I to do to die and then be raised
To reach beyond the pain like a flower in the rain

YOU CAN HAVE ME

Ben McDonald, David Frey and Jason Ingram

If I saw You on the street
And You said, "Come and follow me"
But I had to give up everything
All I once held dear and all of my dreams
Would I love You enough to let go
Or would my love run dry
When You asked for my life?

When did love become unmoving?
When did love become unconsuming?
Forgetting what the world has told me
Father of love, You can have me
You can have me

If You’re all You claim to be
Then I’m not losing anything
So I will crawl upon my knees
Just to know the joy of suffering
I will love You enough to let go
Lord, I give You my life
I give You my life

When did love become unmoving?
When did love become unconsuming?
Forgetting what the world has told me
Father of love, You can have me
You can have me

I want to be where You are
I’m running into Your arms
And I will never look back
So Jesus, here is my heart

When did love become unmoving?
When did love become unconsuming?
Forgetting what the world has told me
Father of love, You can have me
You can have me

MAN OF SORROWS

Joel Linsey and Tony Wood

Sometimes days and weeks go by, and it never comes to mind
The agony, the cruelty, the way You were despised
But then other times, oh, Lord I can see the cross You bore
And all the ways You suffered become clear to me once more.

Lord, I heard You were a man of sorrows
With a heart that broke from all the pain You knew
Lord, I heard You were a man of sorrows
And when I think about what my sin did to You
Oh, Jesus, I'm a man of sorrows too.

Though the thorns cut deep that day
And the people mocked Your name
Greater was the torment
Of when Your Father turned away

Lord, I heard You were a man of sorrows
With a heart that broke from all the pain You knew
Lord, I heard You were a man of sorrows
And when I think about what my sin did to You
Oh, Jesus, I'm a man of sorrows too.

So I cry for the tears that You cried
And I grieve for Your grief, Lord
And I ache from my marrow for holiness
'Cause I don't ever want to hurt You anymore

Lord, I heard You were a man of sorrows
With a heart that broke from all the pain You knew
Lord, I heard You were a man of sorrows
And when I think about what my sin did to You
Oh, Jesus, I'm a man of sorrows too.

YOU ARE MY SONG

You are my song
You are my melody
The theme of all my life
Forever to be
I’ll sing from this moment on
Throughout endless ages long
You are my music
You are my song.

A song of joy came into my heart one morning
My world came alive when I heard the melody
The sun broke through and a brand new day
Came dawning in my heart
And I thank you, Lord, for what you mean to me

You are my song
You are my melody
The theme of all my life
Forever to be
I’ll sing from this moment on
Throughout endless ages long
You are my music
You are my song.

You are the theme of all my music
You are, yes You are, my song
You are, yes You are, my song.

I WOULD

Two little boys were staring at the candy on display
One whispered to the other with the clerk lookin’ away
“Just put it in your pocket, no one will ever know.
We’ll eat it all before we get back home.”

Well, that little boy just stared down at the candy on the shelf
You could almost hear the conversation he had with himself
Then he gave the clerk a dollar, took the candy and his change
Gave half to his buddy and explained:

No matter who’s watching, no matter who sees
Jesus in my heart knows how wrong that would be
When I’m home and momma asks me “Have you been good?”
Though she would never know, I would.

Well, little boys, they grow up and temptations grow up too
We’re living in a world that says do what you wanna do
"What they don’t know wont hurt ‘em" is the devil’s battle cry
But a godly man knows that is just a lie

No matter who’s watching, no matter who sees
Jesus in my heart knows how wrong that would be
When I’m home and momma asks me “Have you been good?”
Though she would never know, I would.

The man that I am when no one is watchin’
Is the man I really am

No matter who’s watchin’, no matter who sees
Jesus in my heart knows how wrong that would be
When the Holy Spirit asks me, "Have you been good?"
Though the world would never know
No, the world might not ever know, I would
Me and Jesus would.

STILL FEELIN' FINE

Mosie Lister

Once upon a time I was feelin’ mighty fine
And I said it in a happy song
I said it ‘cause it told just how I felt
And my friends started singing along
If you ask me if I’m still feelin’ fine right now
I can answer with an all time, "YES"
I can tell you how I feel
There’s never any need to guess

Well, I’m still feelin’ fine after all this time
I’m feelin’ mighty fine today
Every day I’m climbing just a little bit higher
Walkin’ up the King’s Highway
I still want to go
Where the milk and honey flow
And I’m not gonna change my mind
Happy on my journey
And I’m still feelin’ might fine.

Wake up in the morning.
Thinkin’ 'bout the journey
Goin’ to the Promised Land
Thinkin’ ‘bout the songs we used to sing
And I sing them all over again
God has never changed and my song remains
And Heaven’s still on my mind
I know where I’m going
And I’m still feelin’ mighty fine

Well, I’m still feelin’ fine after all this time
I’m feelin’ mighty fine today
Every day I’m climbing just a little bit higher
Walkin’ up the King’s Highway
I still want to go
Where the milk and honey flow
And I’m not gonna change my mind
Happy on my journey
And I’m still feelin’ might fine.
