STRONG IN THE STRENGTH

Roger Bennett

Strong in the strength of someone else
Trusting a hand that never can fail
Living a life of spiritual wealth
Strong in the strength of someone else
Strong in the strength of someone else

Daniel was thrown in the den of the lions
Incredible odds said he could not win
But he found a strength that was stronger than the lions
It was making a church out of the lions' den

David stepped out to battle Goliath
Incredible odds said he could not win
But he found the strength stronger than the giant
With a sling and a stone David's battle was won

Strong in the strength of someone else
Trusting a hand that never can fail
Living a life of spiritual wealth
Strong in the strength of someone else
Strong in the strength of someone else

I'm living in a world that's filled with evil
Incredible odds say I cannot win
But I found a strength that is strong like a mountain
Flowing through me from my Father's right hand

Strong in the strength of someone else
Trusting a hand that never can fail
Living a life of spiritual wealth
Strong in the strength of someone else
Strong in the strength of someone else

In sickness and health
I'm strong in the strength
For richer or poorer
I'm strong in the strength
Death cannot part us
For I'm strong in the strength

Strong in the strength of someone else
Trusting a hand that never can fail
Living a life of spiritual wealth
Strong in the strength of someone else
Strong in the strength of someone else

I FEEL LIKE RUNNING MY LAST MILE HOME

Kenneth Tanner

Well, I've been a soldier in God's mighty army
Since many long years ago
And I've been scarred and wounded in battle
And many times I've been brought low
But by the signs of the times I then realize
I've only one more mile to go
Well, is that the lights of Heaven up above?
I feel like running my last mile home.

Oh, yes, I feel like running my last mile home
I see a great band of angels around God's throne
Oh, what a great celebration as ages roll on
I feel like running my last mile home.

Now Jesus said when He reached down to save me
"I'll go with you all the way."
So I stepped out on His precious promise
And it filled me both night and day
I know it's been many years but I still can feel
His spirit burning in my soul
Oh, it gives me just a taste of what lies ahead
I feel like running my last mile home.

Oh, yes, I feel like running my last mile home
I see a great band of angels around God's throne
Oh, what a great celebration as ages roll on
I feel like running my last mile home.

I KNOW A MAN WHO CAN

Jack Campbell and Jimmie Davis

I can't take a heart that's broken,
Make it over again.
But I know a Man who can
I can't take a soul that's sin sick
And wash it white as snow.
But I know a Man who can.

Some call Him Savior, the Redeemer of all men.
I call him Jesus, for He's my dearest friend.
If you think that no one loves you,
And your life is out of hand.
I know a Man who can.

I can't walk upon the water
And I can't calm a raging sea.
But I know a Man who can.
And I can't cause blinded eyes to be open
Or the lame to walk again.
Oh, but I know a Man who can.

Some call Him Savior, the Redeemer of all men.
I call him Jesus, for He's my dearest friend.
If you think that no one loves you,
And your life is out of hand.
I know a Man who can.

I REFUSE

Benjamin Glover & Joshua David Wilson

Sometimes I just want to close my eyes
And act like everyone's alright
When I know they're not
This world needs God
But it's easier to stand and watch
I could say a prayer and just move on
Like nothing's wrong
But I refuse

'Cause I don't want to live like I don't care
I don't want to say another empty prayer
Oh, I refuse
To sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh, I could choose not to move
But I refuse

I can hear the least of these
Crying out so desperately
And I know we are the hands and feet
Of You, oh God
So, if You say move
It's time for me to follow through
And do what I was made to do
Show them who You are

'Cause I don't want to live like I don't care
I don't want to say another empty prayer
Oh, I refuse
To sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh, I could choose not to move
But I refuse

To stand and watch the weary and lost
Cry out for help
I refuse to turn my back
And try and act like all is well
I refuse to stay unchanged
To wait another day, to die to myself
I refuse to make one more excuse

'Cause I don't want to live like I don't care
I don't want to say another empty prayer
Oh, I refuse
To sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh, I could choose not to move
But I refuse

CHILDREN OF THE DUST

Soon we’ll hear the call to rise to worlds unknown
When the time has come the Lord will leave His throne
When we hear the shout, we’ll leave from where we are
Children of the dust out among the stars

Then the graves will open and the sainted dead will rise
And we’ll be changed forever when we see Him in the skies
Where all the saints will gather
Some broken, bent and battle scarred
Children of the dust out among the stars

When He calls my name, I’ll be on my way
Past the moon and clouds and through the Milky Way
I’m sure we’ll be amazed that we have come this far
Children of the dust out among the stars

Then the graves will open and the sainted dead will rise
And we’ll be changed forever when we see Him in the skies
Where all the saints will gather
Some broken, bent and battle scarred
Children of the dust out among the stars

SHOUTIN' GROUND

Well, I've walked through rocky places,
And of the bitter cup I've tasted,
But right now, I'm on shoutin' ground.
Though I may face another battle,
I know victory will abound,
But as for now, I'm on shoutin' ground.

Standing on shoutin' ground,
Feeling the glory comin' down.
And it feels like Heaven,
It's gotta be Heaven.
I'm feeling better than before,
So I'll only ask for more.
Won't you get on shoutin' ground
Where the glory's comin' down.

Well, some day I'll shall be going'
Where sweet milk and honey flow,
I'm Heaven bound, eternal shoutin' ground.
If you should look for me in Heaven,
And it seems I can't be found,
Just turn around, I'll be on shoutin' ground.

Standing on shoutin' ground,
Feeling the glory comin' down.
And it feels like Heaven,
It's gotta be Heaven.
I'm feeling better than before,
So I'll only ask for more.
Won't you get on shoutin' ground
Where the glory's comin' down.

I'M FORGIVEN

Rodney Griffin

You’ve been living in the shadows
Of your hurts and past mistakes.
If you had the chance, you’d love to try again.
I, too, wish I could go back
And change the things I’ve done.
It’s only by the blood of Jesus I can say:

I’m forgiven. I’ve been forgiven
Of the things that had brought me guilt and shame;
Now I am free to live in victory.
Those sins of mine are all behind.
 I’ve been forgiven.

There’s no need to recall the times
You’ve wandered from the Lord;
If His cleansing flow has washed your sins away.
So when Satan reminds you of your past,
Remind him of his future.
He knows he’ll never have the chance to say:

I’m forgiven. I’ve been forgiven
Of the things that had brought me guilt and shame;
Now I am free to live in victory.
Those sins of mine are all behind.
 I’ve been forgiven.

HE DIDN'T JUST CARRY THE CROSS

Once upon His back He knew,
This was the beginning of the end.
With every fragile step he grew,
More and more determined to finish it.
The world saw a man with a tree on His back,
And they laughed.
But God saw His Son who He loved,
Carry more than that.

Oh, He didn't just carry a cross; He carried me.
He didn't just count the cost; He counted me.
So much has been said of what happened at Calvary,
Oh, but I believe,
He didn't just carry a cross ;He carried me.

Mercy held my broken heart,
Close against His shoulders as He wept.
Love beyond the moment scarred the hands and feet,
Of one I never met.
The world saw a man die a martyr between two thieves,
But God saw a lamb bridge the gap from eternity.

Oh, He didn't just carry a cross; He carried me.
He didn't just count the cost; He counted me.
So much has been said of what happened at Calvary,
Oh, but I believe,
He didn't just carry a cross; He carried me.

PLEASE FORGIVE ME

My sleep is gone, my heart is full of sorrow
I can't believe how much I've let you down
I dread the pain that waits for me tomorrow
When the sun reveals my broken dreams scattered on the ground

Please forgive me
I need Your grace to make it through
All I have is You, I'm at Your mercy
Lord, I'll serve you
Until my dying day
Help others find the way
At Your mercy, please forgive me

I can't believe the God of earth and glory
Would take the time to care for one like me
But I read in the Bible that old story
How He plead for my forgiveness while He was dying on a tree

Please forgive me
I need Your grace to make it through
All I have is You, I'm at Your mercy
Lord, I'll serve you
Until my dying day
Help others find the way
At Your mercy, please forgive me

SAVE ME A SEAT AT THE TABLE

Diana Blum & Marty Funderburk

I picture you there where you wanted to be
Finding your chair and then taking your seat
At the table where the Marriage Supper is about to begin
I imagine the banquet that’s waiting up there
That the saints of all ages together will share
How I dream of that moment when I’ll finally see you again

And I know there’ll be millions of millions who’ve gone on before
And together we’ll sit down to feast with our Savior and Lord
And I know you will be there looking for me
And I believe that somehow if you’re able
You will save me a seat right next to you at the table

I’d love to be sitting right by your side
Holding your hand when the Bridegroom arrives
And then standing to our feet to worship as Jesus appears
I imagine our voices in sweet harmony
As we join in the chorus with all the redeemed
How the thought of forever helps me live life without you down here

And I know there’ll be millions of millions who’ve gone on before
And together we’ll sit down to feast with our Savior and Lord
And I know you will be there looking for me
And I believe that somehow if you’re able
You will save me a seat right next to you at the table

I THINK I'LL READ IT AGAIN

Sandy Knight

Sometimes I get so tangled up in those blessed pages,
How I'm gonna rest forever in the Rock of Ages.
How I'm gonna live and sing and shout a million years,
And hear Him say, "You've made it home,
Here's a crown of life to call your own."
Think I'll read it again and let it bless my soul.

I think I'll read it again and see how high I can fly.
I think I'll read it again, and how my feet are gonna rise.
I think I'll read it again--the mighty book of Revelation.
It's the only one I know for certain,
Only one that predicts my future.
I think I'll read it again and let it bless my soul.

Some read of how ol' Satan's days already have been numbered,
How one day in a darkened pit a thousand years he'll tumble.
But in another place there'll be a mighty celebration,
It's in the New Jerusalem,
We'll be rejoicing with the Lamb.
I think I'll read it again and let it bless my soul.

Now that's not all, there's even more there in those blessed pages.
Satan and his wicked crowd will burn throughout the ages.
There's more good news, I'm telling you, o how I love to tell it!
We'll all go sailing into home and live forever with the Lamb.
I think I'll read it again and let it bless my soul.

THEN I MET THE MASTER

Mosie Lister

Like a babe when it cries for its mother
Like a child, I was helpless alone
Then I met the Master
Now I am one of His own

For all things were changed
When He found me
A new day broke through
All around me
For I met the Master
Now I belong to Him

Like a blind man who walks in the darkness
I had longed, I had searched for the light
Then I met the Master
No I walk no more in the night

For all things were changed
When He found me
A new day broke through
All around me
For I met the Master
Now I belong to Him

HELLO, MY NAME IS

Matthew West

Hello, my name is regret
I’m pretty sure we have met
Every single day of your life
I’m the whisper inside
That won’t let you forget

Hello, my name is defeat
I know you recognize me
Just when you think you can win
I’ll drag you right back down again
‘Til you’ve lost all belief

These are the voices, these are the lies
And I have believed them, for the very last time

Hello, my name is child of the one true King
I’ve been saved, I’ve been changed, and I have been set free
“Amazing Grace” is the song I sing
Hello, my name is child of the one true King

I am no longer defined
By all the wreckage behind
The one who makes all things new
Has proven it’s true
Just take a look at my life

Hello, my name is child of the one true King
I’ve been saved, I’ve been changed, and I have been set free
“Amazing Grace” is the song I sing
Hello, my name is child of the one true King

What love the Father has lavished upon us
That we should be called His children
I am a child of the one true King
What love the Father has lavished upon us
That we should be called His children

Hello, my name is child of the one true King
I’ve been saved, I’ve been changed, and I have been set free
“Amazing Grace” is the song I sing
Hello, my name is child of the one true King
