GOD IS IN CONTROL

This is no time for fear
This is a time for faith and determination
Don’t lose the vision here
Carried away by the motion
Hold on to all that you hide in your heart
There is one thing that has always been true
It holds the world together

God is in control
We believe that His children will not be forsaken
God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him
We know, ohh, God is in control
Ohh, God is in control

History marches on
There is a bottom line drawn across the ages
Culture can make its plan
Oh, but the line never changes
No matter how the deception may fly
There is one thing that has always been true
It will be true forever

God is in control
We believe that His children will not be forsaken
God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him
We know, ohh, God is in control
Ohh, God is in control

He has never let you down
Why start to worry now
Why start to worry now
He is still the Lord of all we see
And He is still the loving Father
Watching over you and me

Watching over you
Watching over me
Every little sparrow
Every little thing
Ohh, every little thing

God is in control
We believe that His children will not be forsaken
God is in control
We will choose to remember and never be shaken
There is no power above or beside Him
We know, ohh, God is in control
Ohh, God is in control

THE SWEETEST SONG I KNOW

Albert E. Brumley

I’ve heard them sing “He Paid The Price” and “Jesus Bore It All”
I've heard them sing "I'm Coming Home" and "Hear the Master's Call"
I've heard them sing the modern songs and songs of long ago,
But "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound" is the sweetest song I know.

Amazing Grace (Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound)
How sweet the sound (Oh, how sweet is the sound)
No sweeter song (Sweeter song, sweeter song)
Could e'er be found (In this life, could be found)
I've heard of a fountain (Heard of the dear Savior's blood)
Filled with blood (That washed us white, white as snow)
But Amazing Grace (Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound)
Is the sweetest song I know.

I've heard them sing "He Paid the Price" and "Just a Little While"
I've heard them sing "Beyond the Clouds" and "Give the World a Smile"
I've heard them sing "There is a Fount That Washes White As Snow"
But "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound" is the sweetest song I know.

Amazing Grace (Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound)
How sweet the sound (Oh, how sweet is the sound)
No sweeter song (Sweeter song, sweeter song)
Could e'er be found (In this life, could be found)
I've heard of a fountain (Heard of the dear Savior's blood)
Filled with blood (That washed us white, white as snow)
But Amazing Grace (Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound)
Is the sweetest song I know.

It was the song my mother sang in sweet and humble voice
Like music from the world above, it made my soul rejoice
Its soothing words and melody like rippling waters flow
But "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound" is the sweetest song I know.

Amazing Grace (Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound)
How sweet the sound (Oh, how sweet is the sound)
No sweeter song (Sweeter song, sweeter song)
Could e'er be found (In this life, could be found)
I've heard of a fountain (Heard of the dear Savior's blood)
Filled with blood (That washed us white, white as snow)
But Amazing Grace (Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound)
Is the sweetest song I know.

I WANT YOU TO KNOW

Diane Wilkinson

Lord, I want you to know
How sweet this journey’s been
Since I’ve been walking with you
Climbing each mountain, walking each valley
Every little river we go through
Even if I stumble as I travel
You will keep me as I go
I’m looking forward to my heavenly home
And I want you to know

I want You to know
(Lord, I’m so thankful for the love you’ve given me)
I want you to hear
(My heart rejoicing since I’m not the man I used to be)
I want you to see
(That I’ve been faithful ever since that day you saved my soul)
I wanna serve you wherever I go
And I want you to know

Lord, I want You to know I’ll be a witness
Wherever You lead I will go
Ever proclaiming, telling Your story
Helping the lost find their way home
Knowing You are walking here beside me
Keeps me moving toward my goal
With heaven in view, I’d never turn back
And I want you to know

I want You to know
(Lord, I’m so thankful for the love you’ve given me)
I want you to hear
(My heart rejoicing since I’m not the man I used to be)
I want you to see
(That I’ve been faithful ever since that day you saved my soul)
I wanna serve you wherever I go
And I want you to know

ALREADY THERE

Bernie Herms, John Mark Hall, Matthew Joseph West

From where I'm standing
Lord, it's so hard for me to see
Where this is going
And where You're leading me

I wish I knew how
All my fears and all my questions
Are going to play out
In a world I can't control

When I'm lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
'Cause You're already there
You're already there
Standing at the end of my life
Waiting on the other side
And You're already there
You're already there

From where You're standing
Lord, You see a grand design
That You imagined
When You breathed me into life

And all the chaos
Comes together in Your hands
Like a masterpiece
Of Your picture perfect plan

When I'm lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory'Cause You're already there
You're already there

One day I'll stand before You
And look back on the life I've lived
I can't wait to enjoy the view
And see how all the pieces fit

When I'm lost in the mystery
To You my future is a memory
'Cause You're already there
You're already there
Standing at the end of my life
Waiting on the other side
And You're already there
You're already there

THE TEST OF TIME

 Savannah Foust

There's a promise in the Bible,
God's precious holy Word
That all things work together for good
To them that love the Lord.
And today I claim that promise,
Trusting Him for peace of mind,
For He's the God that through the ages
Has stood the test of time.

What a blessed assurance
To know I'm Him and He's mine!
What a sweet consolation
When He tells me I'm His child,
How could I ever doubt it
When mountains get too hard to climb?
He's the God of all mountains,
He's stood the test of time.

Through this world's fierce raging battles,
I will trust Him more and more.
I dare not take one step without Him
Until this fleeting life is o'er.
For the hand that holds tomorrow
That same hand is placed in mine.
Praise His name throughout the ages,
God has stood the test of time!

What a blessed assurance
To know I'm Him and He's mine!
What a sweet consolation
When He tells me I'm His child,
How could I ever doubt it
When mountains get too hard to climb?
He's the God of all mountains,
He's stood the test of time.

MOMENT BY MOMENT

Daniel W. Whittle

Dying with Jesus, by death reckoned mine;
Living with Jesus, a new life divine;
Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine,
Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;
Moment by moment I’ve life from above;
Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;
Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Never a trial that He is not there,
Never a burden that He doth not bear,
Never a sorrow that He doth not share,
Moment by moment, I’m under His care.

Never a heartache, and never a groan,
Never a teardrop, and never a moan;
Never a danger but there on the throne,
Moment by moment He thinks of His own.

Never a weakness that He doth not feel,
Never a sickness that He cannot heal;
Moment by moment, in woe or in weal,
Jesus my Savior abides with me still.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;
Moment by moment I’ve life from above;
Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;
Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

SHE TOUCHED HIS HEART

 Author Unknown

Twelve long years she suffered
With no hope, she just grew worse,
Physicians, there were many,
Still she was bound by this curse.
On the verge of simply giving up,
Not knowing what to do,
All her hopes were cruelly shattered;
It seemed her life was through.

Then she heard a commotion,
People talking in the streets.
They said, "Someone is coming;
It's Jesus, the Nazarene."
They said that He could heal the sick
And cause the blind to see
But she wondered in her heart,
Could He do the same for me?

She began to make her way
Down the road to where He was,
And though the crowd was pressing,
She refused to give up.
She reached out to touch His clothes,
For healing to impart.
She not only touched His hem that day,
She touched His heart.

She touched the heart of Jesus;
Her faith had made her whole.
In a moment's time, she took back
All Satan had controlled
She found in her faith, a brand new place to start.
She not only touched His hem, she touched His heart.

Without faith, she would have never
Seen beyond her need;
But she chose to trust in the only One
Who could make her life complete.

She touched the heart of Jesus;
Her faith had made her whole.
In a moment's time, she took back
All Satan had controlled
She found in her faith, a brand new place to start.
She not only touched His hem, she touched His heart.

I'M GONNA SING

Barbara Huffman & Randall Hunley

Life has thrown some bruises
I know I've had my share
If the devil had his way
Then I would dwell in my despair
I'd stew in my self pity
I'd grumble and complain
But I'll stand right up
Give God the glory
And praise His holy name

Oh, I could be bitter
I could be better
The choice is up to me, so

I'm gonna sing
I'm gonna sing
I'm gonna sing cause Jesus loves me
I'm gonna sing cause I've overcome
I'm gonna sing 'cause there's never been a battle
My Lord hasn't won
I could let my sorrow steal my song
But that wouldn't solve a thing
So I tell ya what I'm gonna
I said I'm gonna
Children, I'm gonna sing, Yeah.

Things work together for our good
It's written in the Book
Is the glass half full or the glass half empty?
It's all in how you look
Let not your heart be troubled
So how can I be sad
So whatever comes my way today
I'll rejoice and I'll be glad,

Oh I can be bitter or I can be better
the choice is up to me, so

I'm gonna sing
I'm gonna sing
I'm gonna sing cause Jesus loves me
I'm gonna sing cause I've overcome
I'm gonna sing 'cause there's never been a battle
My Lord hasn't won
I could let my sorrow steal my song
But that wouldn't solve a thing
So I tell ya what I'm gonna
I said I'm gonna
Children, I'm gonna sing, Yeah.

GOD LEADS US ALONG

 George A. Young

In shady, green pastures, so rich and so sweet,
God leads His dear children along;
Where the water’s cool flow bathes the weary one’s feet,
God leads His dear children along.

Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.

Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright,
God leads His dear children along;
Sometimes in the valley, in darkest of night,
God leads His dear children along.

Though sorrows befall us and evils oppose,
God leads His dear children along;
Through grace we can conquer, defeat all our foes,
God leads His dear children along.

Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.

Away from the mire, and away from the clay,
God leads His dear children along;
Away up in glory, eternity’s day,
God leads His dear children along.

Some through the waters, some through the flood,
Some through the fire, but all through the blood;
Some through great sorrow, but God gives a song,
In the night season and all the day long.

A BRIGHTER DAY

Author Unknown

Shadows fall all around us
Darkness comes to hide our way
Don't despair; soon night is ending
The clearest sky will bring the day

There's a brighter day a comin'
Soon our heartaches will be gone
Sorrow won't be a memory
In the light of Heaven's dawn

Even in the blackest midnight
I have a lamp to guide my way
For the light of God's love
Shines in my heart
It turns the darkness into day.

There's a brighter day a coming
Soon our heartaches will be gone
Sorrow won't be a memory
In the light of Heaven's dawn

LONGING TO GO

Gerald Crabb

They say the water is clear as a crystal,
With streets like a mirror of gold
There each face is void of frustration,
Not one broken heart will be known
More beauty than we can imagine,
What splendor our eyes will behold
The more that I hear about Heaven,
The more I am longing to go

Call me heavenly-minded if that’s how it seems
Say I’m gone off the deep end, caught up in a dream
The more I read John’s description of that city of gold
The more I am longing to go.

In life I’ve enjoyed this world’s beauty,
The oceans, the mountains so high
The flowers that bloom in the garden,
The sunset that lights up the sky
But when the death angel takes a loved one,
And I’m left behind so alone
The more that I hear about Heaven,
The more I am longing to go.

Call me heavenly-minded if that’s how it seems
Say I’m gone off the deep end, caught up in a dream
The more I read John’s description of that city of gold
The more I am longing to go.

EVERY MAN

Mark Hall, Bernie Herms and Nicole Nordeman

I'm the man with all I've ever wanted
All the toys and playing games
I am the one who pours your coffee,
Corner booth each Saturday
I am your daughter's favorite teacher
I am the leader of the band
I sit behind you in the bleachers
I am every man

I'm the coach of every winning team
And still a loser in my mind
I am the soldier in the airport
Facing giants one more time
I am the woman shamed and haunted
By the cry of unborn life
I'm every broken man, nervous child, lonely wife

Is there hope for every man
A solid place where we can stand
In this dry and weary land
Is there hope for every man
Is there love that never dies
Is there peace in troubled times
Someone help me understand
Is there hope for every man

Seems there's just so many roads to travel,
It's hard to tell where they will lead
My life is scarred and my dreams unraveled
Now I'm scared to take the leap
If I could find someone to follow
Who knows my pain and feels the weight
The uncertainty of my tomorrow,
The guilt and pain of yesterday

There is hope for every man
A solid place where we can stand
In this dry and weary land
There is hope for every man
There is Love that never dies
There is peace in troubled times
Will we help them understand?
Jesus is hope for every man

YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM

Ronnie Hinson

THERE'S A SPARKLE IN YOUR EYE
AND A SMILE ON YOU FACE
JOY DOWN IN YOUR HEART
AND I WONDER WHAT TOOK PLACE
YOU'VE GOT A SPRING IN YOUR STEP
AND A SONG IS ON YOUR LIPS
NOW YOU’RE ACTING LIKE ALL HEAVEN
IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM,
YOU HAVE THE SYMPTOMS OF
SOMEONE WHO FELL IN LOVE,
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM
LIKE THE LEPER AND THE LAME,
LIFE CHANGED THE DAY HE CAME
LIKE THE THOUSANDS THAT WERE FED,
THE CANA COUPLE THAT WERE WED
LIKE THE WOMAN AT THE WELL,
HIS FRIEND THAT DIED BUT LIVED TO TELL
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM
IT’S ONE MORE DAMASCUS CALL,
SAUL BECOMING PAUL
YEAH, THAT EXPLAINS IT ALL,
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM

THEY SAID THAT YOU HAD CHANGED
BUT TIME WOULD PULL YOU BACK
YOU’VE BEEN THIS WAY BEFORE
SO IT WON’T REALLY LAST
BUT LATELY THEY HAVE SEEN
PREDICTIONS START TO DIE
THIS TIME YOUR BRAND NEW LOVE
CAUGHT MORE THAN JUST YOUR EYE

YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM,
YOUR STEPS WERE CLEAR TO TRACE
YOU LOOK FOR AMAZING GRACE,
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM
LIKE THE LEPER AND THE LAME,
LIFE CHANGED THE DAY HE CAME
LIKE THE THOUSANDS THAT WERE FED,
THE CANA COUPLE THAT WERE WED
LIKE THE WOMAN AT THE WELL,
HIS FRIEND THAT DIED BUT LIVED TO TELL
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM
IT’S ONE MORE DAMASCUS CALL,
SAUL BECOMING PAUL
YEAH, THAT EXPLAINS IT ALL,
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM

YOU'VE BECOME A STRANGER
BUT WHAT HAPPENED ISN’T BAD
WE WOULDN’T TRADE THE NEW YOU
FOR THE OLD YOU THAT WE HAD

LIKE THE LEPER AND THE LAME,
LIFE CHANGED THE DAY HE CAME
LIKE THE THOUSANDS THAT WERE FED,
THE CANA COUPLE THAT WERE WED
LIKE THE WOMAN AT THE WELL,
HIS FRIEND THAT DIED BUT LIVED TO TELL
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM
IT’S ONE MORE DAMASCUS CALL,
SAUL BECOMING PAUL
YEAH, THAT EXPLAINS IT ALL,
YOU MUST HAVE MET HIM

SOMEBODY TOUCHED ME

Savannah Foust

Many years he walked in darkness
As he groped along the streets
With his hands stretched out for pennies
Or for just a bite to eat
It's the story of the blind man
Who met Jesus on his way
And with the Master's touch, the man looked up
As the scoffers heard him say

Somebody touched me
Somebody touched me
I was blind, but praise His name, I now can see
I was in darkness when Jesus found me
But since He touched me I now am free

One day He touched the crippled man
And made him walk again
And the Master saw with pleasure
He had labored not in vain
Like the story of that crippled man
I once was bound by sin
But since the Master came, oh, praise His name
Thank God, I now can say

Somebody touched me
Somebody touched me
I was blind, but praise His name, I now can see
I was in darkness when Jesus found me
But since He touched me I now am free
