WHO NEEDS A BOAT?

Tim Lovelace

When Peter was fishing by the sea,
Jesus walked up and said, "Come follow me."
With hopes and dreams afloat,
He left that fishing boat,
But it took a storm for Peter to finally see. . .

Tell me who needs a boat
When you can walk on the water?
Tell me who needs a boat
When you can walk on the sea?
Anything is possible -- you've gotta believe.
With your eyes on Jesus
Tell me who needs a boat?

Are the storms of life blowin' in on you?
Are you goin' under, and you don't know what to do?
Just have a heart of faith,
And get out of your boat today.
Keep your eyes on Jesus and do a little walking too.

Tell me who needs a boat
When you can walk on the water?
Tell me who needs a boat
When you can walk on the sea?
Anything is possible -- you've gotta believe.
With your eyes on Jesus
Tell me who needs a boat?

HOW DEEP THE FATHER'S LOVE FOR US

Stuart Townend

How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory.

Behold the Man upon a cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished.

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection.
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom.

FOR THE LIFE OF ME

Author Unknown

For the life of me
I am searching for the strength to stand
For the life of me
I cannot go on the way I am
So, Father, here I come
Reaching for Your love

Oh Lord, how could I give-up?

You gave Your last heartbeat
For the life of me

For the life of me

I'm running to the end of myself
For the life of me
I'm giving in and crying out for help
So come in like the day
And chase the dark away

Oh Lord, how could I give-up?

You gave Your last heartbeat
For the life of me

Everything You are

Is everything I ever really wanted
I surrender now only to You
You made my heart, now save it

Oh Lord, how could I give-up?

You gave Your last heartbeat
For the life of me

JUST AS I AM

Author Unknown

Oh, becoming more like Jesus feels like dying deep inside,
And I guess sometimes, that's truly what it is.
For He's calling me to lay aside my selfishness and pride,
So He can mold my heart and make it more like His.
And lately, I've been seeing more each day
The wisdom and new wonders of His grace.

Just as I am, I run to Him, and mercy took me in;
Just as I am, and He forgave my sin.
All the way He's changing my heart proves
That He loves me too much
To leave me just as I am.

My heart is simply clay within the Potter's skillful hands
And even though sometimes the changes frighten me,
I want the truth of His Word to keep shaping who I am
Because I know that He does all things perfectly.
So all my thoughts and all my attitudes--
They're all His to change as He wants to.

Just as I am, I run to Him, and mercy took me in;
Just as I am, and He forgave my sin.
All the way He's changing my heart proves
That He loves me too much
To leave me just as I am.

Just as I am without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me.
O, Lamb of God, I come. . .

Just as I am, I run to Him, and mercy took me in;
Just as I am, and He forgave my sin.
All the way He's changing my heart proves
That He loves me too much
To leave me just as I am.

REAL FAITH

Marty Funderburk and Tony Wood

Not some tragic struggle, not some endless search
Just a story of some kids growing up in church
We took in every moment with open eyes and ears
And one day took to heart what we saw in those years

And we saw real people with real struggles
That real life bruised in real ways
And there was real joy and real hope
Through it all we found real faith

We count it as a blessing to know such strength and peace
Oh, not that they were perfect, but they lived with honesty
And the evidence we witnessed daily in each life
Helped pave the pay for us to embrace the love of Christ

We knew real people with real struggles
That real life bruised in real ways
And there was real joy and real hope
Through it all we found real faith

Remind us, oh Father, that around us everyday
The innocent eyes are watching
May they see our lives and say. . .

I've seen real people with real struggles
That real bruised in real ways
And there was real joy and real hope
And through we found real faith

WORTHY IS THE LAMB

Thank You for the cross, Lord
Thank You for the price You paid
Bearing all my sin and shame
In love You came
And gave amazing grace

Thank You for this love, Lord
Thank You for the nail-pierced hands
Washed me in Your cleansing flow
Now all I know
Your forgiveness and embrace

Worthy is the Lamb
Seated on the throne
Crown You now with many crowns
You reign victorious
High and lifted up
Jesus, Son of God
The Darling of Heaven crucified
Worthy is the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb

A SERVANT'S HEART

Ron Hamilton

Make me a servant like you, dear Lord,
Living for others each day
Humble and meek,
Helping the weak,
Loving in all that I say.

Give me, Lord, a servant's heart
Here's my life, take every part.
Give me, Lord, a servant's heart.
Help me draw so close to You
That Your love comes shining through
Give me, Lord, a servant's heart,
Give me, Lord, a servant's heart.

Make me a witness like You, dear Lord,
Showing the love of the cross,
Sharing Your Word till all have heard,
Serving whatever the cost.

Give me, Lord, a servant's heart
Here's my life, take every part.
Give me, Lord, a servant's heart.
Help me draw so close to You
That Your love comes shining through
Give me, Lord, a servant's heart,
Give me, Lord, a servant's heart.

IF JESUS GOES WITH ME

It may be in the valley, where countless dangers hide;
 It may be in the sunshine that I, in peace, abide;
But this one thing I know—if it be dark or fair,
If Jesus is with me, I’ll go anywhere!

If Jesus goes with me, I’ll go anywhere!
’Tis heaven to me, where’er I may be, if He is there!
I count it a privilege here, His cross to bear,
If Jesus goes with me, I’ll go anywhere!

It may be I must carry the blessed Word of life
Across the burning deserts to those in sinful strife;
And though it be my lot to bear my colors there,
If Jesus goes with me, I’ll go anywhere!

But if it be my portion to bear my cross at home,
While others bear their burdens beyond the billow’s foam,
I’ll prove my faith in Him—confess His judgments fair,
If Jesus stays with me, I’ll stay anywhere!

It is not mine to question the judgment of my Lord,
It is but mine to follow the leadings of His Word;
But if to go or stay, or whether here or there,
I’ll be, with my Savior, content anywhere!

If Jesus goes with me, I’ll go anywhere!
’Tis heaven to me, where’er I may be, if He is there!
I count it a privilege here, His cross to bear,
If Jesus goes with me, I’ll go anywhere!

REDEEMED

Seems like all I could see was the struggle
Haunted by ghosts that lived in my past
Bound up in shackles of all my failures
Wondering how long is this gonna last
Then You look at this prisoner and say to me, "Son,
Stop fighting a fight that's already been won."

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, now I'm not who I used to be
I am redeemed, I'm redeemed

All my life I have been called unworthy
Named by the voice of my shame and regret
But when I hear You whisper, "Child, lift up your head"
I remember, oh God, You're not done with me yet

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, now I'm not who I used to be

Because I don't have to be the old man inside of me
'Cause his day is long dead and gone
Because I've got a new name, a new life, I'm not the same
And a hope that will carry me home

I am redeemed, You set me free
So I'll shake off these heavy chains
Wipe away every stain, yeah, I'm not who I used to be
Oh, God, I'm not who I used to be
Jesus, I'm not who I used to be
'Cause I am redeemed
Thank God, redeemed

LORD, DON'T MOVE THAT MOUNTAIN

Lord, here I am again down on my knees in prayer
And Lord, You promised me You would always meet me there
Now there's a mountain up ahead that I can't seem to climb
But I'm praying for the strength to try it one more time

Lord, don't move that mountain,
Just give me strength to climb
For if You should move each mountain
I might grow weaker every time
And just like your son, Jesus,
Took the cross of Calvary's hill
Lord, don't move that mountain,
So I may better do Your will.

Now if I had no mountains, Lord, I might forget to pray
And if there were no trials, well, I might even stray
But I know the higher the mountain, the sweeter the victory
Lord. ever remind me You will walk beside of me

Lord, don't move that mountain,
Just give me strength to climb
For if You should move each mountain
I might grow weaker every time
And just like your son, Jesus,
Took the cross of Calvary's hill
Lord, don't move that mountain,
So I may better do Your will.

ON MY KNEES

SCOTT, FITZGERALD/BONIFACE, TANYA ELIZABETH / MARTIN, TISHA MONIQUE/FURLONGER, SUSAN HELEN

There are days when I feel
The best of me is ready to begin.
Then there are days when I feel
I'm letting go and soaring on the wind.
Cause I've learned in laughter or in pain
How to survive.

I get on my knees, I get on my knees;
There I am before the love that changes me.
See I don't know how, but there's power
When I'm on my knees.

I can be in a crowd
Or by myself, in almost anywhere
When I feel there's a need
To talk with God; He is Emmanuel.
When I close my eyes, there's no darkness there,
There's only light.

I get on my knees, I get on my knees;
There I am before the love that changes me.
See I don't know how, but there's power
In the blue skies, in the midnight
When I'm on my knees.

I get on my knees, I get on my knees;
There I am before the love that changes me.
See I don't know how, but there's power
When I'm on my knees.
