HOPE WAS BORN THIS NIGHT

Dave Frey

Tonight I can see a star shine
And its splendor fills up the sky
It's the same that appeared and the wise men revered
When hope was born this night

Out upon the snowy fields
There's a silent peace that heals
And it echoes the grace of our Savior's embrace
Because hope was born this night

Glory to God in the highest
Peace on Earth, good will to all men
Let all of the world sing the chorus of joy
Because hope was born this night

I can hear the Christmas bells ring
As softly as a church choir sings
It's the song used to praise the ancient of days
When hope was born this night

There are angels in this place
And my heart resounds with the praise
Like a shepherd so scared, I'll rejoice and declare
That hope was born this night

Glory to God in the highest
Peace on Earth, good will to all men
Let all of the world sing the chorus of joy
Because hope was born this night

O HOLY NIGHT

Words:  Placide Cappeau
Translated by:  John Sullivan Dwight
Music:  Adolphe-Charles Adam

Oh holy night!
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!

Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel voices
Oh, night divine
Oh, night when Christ was born
Oh, night divine
Oh, night divine

Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming
Here come the wise men from Orient land
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger
In all our trials born to be our friend

He knows our need, He guardeth us from danger!
Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King! your King! before him bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother
And in His name all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy name

Christ is the Lord
Oh, praise His name forever
His power and glory ever more proclaim
His power and glory ever more proclaim.

YOU'RE HERE (MARY'S SONG)

Hold on now, I gotta take a deep breath
I don’t know what to say when I look in your eyes
You made the world before I was born
Here I am holding You in my arms tonight
Noel, Noel, Jesus our Emmanuel

You’re here
I’m holding You so near
I’m staring into the face of my Savior
King and Creator
You could’ve left us on our own
But You’re here

Don’t know how long I’m gonna have You for
But I’ll be watching when You change the world
Look at Your hands, they’re still so small
Someday You’re gonna stretch them out and save us all
Noel, Noel, God with us, Emmanuel

You’re here, I’m holding You so near
I’m staring into the face of my Savior
King and Creator
You could’ve left us on our own
Bbut you’re here, you’re here

Someday I’m gonna look back on this
The night that God became a baby boy
Someday You’re gonna go home again,
But You leave your spirit and flood the world with joy

You’ll be here, I’m holding You so near
I’m staring into the face of my Savior,
King and Creator
You could’ve left me on my own,
but you’re here…
You’re here
Hallelujah, You’re here

O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM

Phillips Brooks

O little town of Bethlehem
How still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep
The silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth
The everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years
Are met in thee tonight

For Christ is born of Mary
And gathered all above
While mortals sleep, the angels keep
Their watch of wondering love
O morning stars together
Proclaim the holy birth
And praises sing to God the King
And peace to men on earth

How silently, how silently
The wondrous gift is given!
So God imparts to human hearts
The blessings of His heaven.
No ear may hear His coming,
But in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still,
The dear Christ enters in.

O holy Child of Bethlehem
Descend to us, we pray
Cast out our sin and enter in
Be born in us today
We hear the Christmas angels
The great glad tidings tell
O come to us, abide with us
Our Lord Emmanuel

NEW STAR SHINING

John J. Hall & Johanna D. Hall

They didn't own a house
No crib, no toys were waiting
Still, they had their love for
The child they were anticipating.
He was born one winter night
In a town called Bethlehem
They wrapped Him up so warm and tight
And said, "It looks like heaven's come down."

There was a new star shining
In the sky up above
By His light that winter night
They found peace and perfect love
If we want to find it, I know we always will
'Cause that new star is shining for us still.

They worried how to feed Him.
Simple trade was all they knew
It was hard enough to make ends meet
When there were only two.
But the cold, the dark, and hunger
Couldn't take away their joy
And they knew that they would find a way
For that precious baby boy.

There was a new star shining
In the sky up above
By His light that winter night
They found peace and perfect love
If we want to find it, I know we always will
'Cause that new star is shining for us still.

O COME, O COME, EMMANUEL

 Translated by John Mason Neale

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
 Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse, free
Thine own from Satan's tyranny
From depths of Hell Thy people save
And give them victory o'er the grave
 Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Day-Spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night
And death's dark shadows put to flight.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Key of David, come,
And open wide our heavenly home;
Make safe the way that leads on high,
And close the path to misery.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, O come, Thou Lord of might,
Who to Thy tribes, on Sinai's height,
In ancient times didst give the Law,
In cloud, and majesty and awe.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

ROSE OF BETHLEHEM

Lowell Alexander

There's a Rose in Bethlehem
With a beauty quite divine
Perfect in this world of sin
On this silent, holy night

There's a fragrance much like hope
That it sends upon the wind
Reaching out to every soul
From a lowly manger's crib

Oh, Rose of Bethlehem
How lovely, pure and sweet
Born to glorify the Father
Born to wear the thorns for me

There's a Rose in Bethlehem
Colored red like mercy's blood
Tis the flower of our faith
Tis the blossom of God?s love

Though its bloom is fresh with youth
Surely what will be He knows
For a tear of morning dew
Is rolling down the Rose

There's a Rose in Bethlehem
With a beauty quite divine
Perfect in this world of sin
On this silent, holy night

BREATH OF HEAVEN

Chris Eaton and Amy Grant

I have traveled many moonless nights
Cold and weary, with a babe inside
And I wonder what I've done
Holy Father, you have come
And chosen me now
To carry your son

I am waiting in a silent prayer
I am frightened by the load I bear
In a world as cold as stone,
Must I walk this path alone?
Be with me now
Be with me now

Breath of heaven, Hold me together
Be forever near me Breath of heaven
Breath of heaven, Light up my darkness
Pour over me your holiness
For you are holy
Breath of heaven

Do you wonder as you watch my face
If a wiser one one should have had my place
But I offer all I am For the mercy of your plan
Help me be strong
Help me be
Help me

Breath of heaven, Hold me together
Be forever near me Breath of heaven
Breath of heaven, Light up my darkness
Pour over me your holiness
For you are holy
Breath of heaven

THE FIRST NOEL

The First Noel, the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

And by the light of that same star
Three wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star wherever it went.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

This star drew nigh to the northwest
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did both pause and stay
Right o'er the place where Jesus lay.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then entered in those wise men three
Full reverently upon their knee
And offered there in His presence
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH LOVE

She leaned with her head on the window
Watching evergreen bend in the snow
Remembering Christmas the way it had been
So many seasons ago.
When children would reach for their stockings
And open the presents they found
The lights on the tree would shine bright in their eyes
Reflecting the love all around.
But this year there's no one to open the gifts
No reason for trimming the tree
And just as a tear made it's way to the floor
She heard voices outside start to sing.

Merry Christmas to all who may dwell here
Merry Christmas if even just one
May the joy of the season surround you
Merry Christmas with love.

Carolers sang as she opened the door
Faces of friends in the crowd
And all of the shadows of lonely reminders
Were driven away by the sound.
Now the heart that for years had been silent
Was suddenly filled with a song
As she clung to their hands like a child in the night
She found her self singing along.

Merry Christmas to all who may dwell here
Merry Christmas if even just one
May the joy of the season surround you
Merry Christmas with love.

I HEARD THE BELLS ON CHRISTMAS DAY

John Mark Hall, Bernhard Herms, Dale Oliver

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men

And the bells are ringing
(Peace on earth)
Like a choir they're singing
(Peace on earth)
In my heart I hear them
(Peace on earth)
Peace on earth, good will to men

And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men

But the bells are ringing
(Peace on earth)
Like a choir singing
(Peace on earth)
Does anybody hear them?
(Peace on earth)
Peace on earth, good will to men

Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men

Then ringing singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day
A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men

And the bells they're ringing
(Peace on earth)
Like a choir they're singing
(Peace on earth)
And with our hearts we'll hear them
(Peace on earth)
Peace on earth, good will to men

Do you hear the bells they're ringing?
(Peace on earth)
The life the angels singing
(Peace on earth)
Open up your heart and hear them
(Peace on earth)
Peace on earth, good will to men

Peace on earth, Peace on earth
Peace on earth, Good will to men

PRAISE HIS NAME

Bruce Haynes

When you're up against a wall
And your mountain seems so tall
And you realize that life's not always fair
You can run away and hide
Let the old man decide
Or you can change your circumstances with a prayer

When everything falls apart
Praise His name
When you have a broken heart
Raise your hands and say,
"Lord, You're all I need
You're everything to me,"
And He'll take the pain away
When you feel you're all alone
Praise His name
And you feel all hope is gone
Raise your hands and say,
"Greater is He that is within me"
And you can praise the hurt away
If you'll just praise His name

You can overcome
By the blood of the Lamb
And by the word of your testimony
You'll see the darkness go
As your faith begins to grow
You're not alone, so how can you be lonely
?

When everything falls apart
Praise His name
When you have a broken heart
Raise your hands and say,
"Lord, You're all I need
You're everything to me."
And He'll take the pain away
When you feel you're all alone
Praise His name
And you feel all hope is gone
Raise your hands and say,
"Greater is He that is within me,"
And you can praise the hurt away
If you'll just praise His name

I WILL WORSHIP YOU

Author Unknown

My God is faithful
My God is truthful
My God is boundless in all He is
My God is wisdom
My God is righteous
My God is vision for all who seek

So I will worship You in the beauty of holiness
And I will worship You for the things You’ve done in me
And when my life’s complete
I’ll place my crown at Your feet
And I will worship You on bended knee

My God is power, My God is glory
My God is ruler over all that is
My God is timeless, My God is justice
My God is mercy to the oppressed

So I will worship You in the beauty of holiness
And I will worship You for the things You’ve done in me
And when my life’s complete
I’ll place my crown at Your feet
And I will worship You on bended knee

His name is love, His voice is thunder
His heart is tender, His hand is strong

So I will worship You in the beauty of holiness
And I will worship You for the things You’ve done in me
And when my life’s complete
I’ll place my crown at Your feet
And I will worship You on bended knee

CHANGE THIS HEART

I've been trying to run away
From this false reality
No matter where I turn my back,
You're always right in front of me
So I push You away,
But I don't know that I'm wrong
I don't know the words to say
To make my faith that strong

So I will pray to you right now
To take away my sin
Heal away my brokenness
And change this heart again
Without you I am nothing
But a weak and dying man
So I will pray to you right now
Come change this heart again

What is going through the motions
If my life is still the same
Everyday's the same old puzzle
All the pieces re-arranged
And I refuse Your help
Out of my own selfish pride
Lord, I have so many masks
To cover up and hide

So I will pray to you right now
To take away my sin
Come heal away my brokenness
And change this heart again
Without you I am nothing
But a weak and a dying man
So I will pray to you right now
Come change this heart again

NEVER LET GO

Matt Redman

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back; I know you are near
And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We'll live to know You here on the earth

Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

STRONG ENOUGH TO SAVE

Jason Ingram, Mike Donehey, Phillip Larue
You fought, but you were just too weak
So you lost all the things you tried to keep
Now you're on your knees
You're on your knees

But wait, everything can change
In a moment's time
You don't have to be afraid
'Cause fear is just a lie
Open up your eyes

And He'll break open the skies to save
Those who cry out His name
The One the wind and waves obey
Is strong enough to save you

Look, now is not too late
Lift up your head
Let the rain fall on your face
You're not far from grace
You're not too far from grace

And He'll break open the skies to save
Those who cry out His name
The One the wind and waves obey
Is strong enough to save you

WHEN GOD'S PEOPLE PRAY

Wayne Watson

Trouble knockin' on your window pane,
Stormy weather at your door.
And the outlook for the day ahead- just like the day before.
People tell you prayin' changes things,
But the words don't stop your fear.
But prayer is only pious reveling without a Father's ear...

He will not turn away- when His people pray.

When God's people pray,
And take the pains of earth to the doors of heaven.
When God's people pray,
There is hope reborn, there is sin forgiven.
And miracles you can't explain await,
When God' people pray.

Hopeless situation turns around,
Dilemma passes by and by.
Look- there's a never-ending field of blue past that clouded sky!
He alone can know the need in me,
Before a single word begins;
The Holy Spirit intercedes for me.
I will trust in Him!

He will not turn away- when His people pray.

When God's people pray,
And take the pains of earth to the doors of heaven.
When God's people pray,
There is hope reborn! There is sin forgiven!
And miracles you can't explain await!

DECLARATION OF THE CHRIST

Sandy Knight

Would you stop to make a statement?
Do you need to make this claim?
Do you dare declare His glory is the only hope for man?
Do you compromise your faith?
Do you mix with worldly ways?
Can you make this holy claim?
Do you take His Holy name?
Will you make this declaration of the Christ?

I declare the Christ
I declare Messiah
He is my Lord, He is my Light,
He is my God, He is my Life,
I declare the Christ
I stand for His name, I stand for His pain,
And confess to this world that only Christ reigns
Right now right where I stand
I now make my declaration of the Christ

An eternal declaration
Of eternal independence
From a world that’s sure to shatter
Like a vapor in the wind
Unto all whom Christ has called
This requirement one and all
To name the name of Christ
And stand for God and right
And make this declaration of the Christ

I declare the Christ
I declare Messiah
He is my Lord, He is my Light,
He is my God, He is my Life,
I declare the Christ
I stand for His name, I stand for His pain,
And confess to this world that only Christ reigns
Right now right where I stand
I now make my declaration of the Christ

EVEN IF

Tony Wood and Scott Krippayne

Sometimes all we have to hold on to
Is what we know is true of who You are
So when the heartache hits like a hurricane
That could never change who You are
And we trust in who You are

Even if the healing doesn’t come
And life falls apart
And dreams are still undone
You are God; You are good
Forever faithful One
Even if the healing
Even if the healing doesn’t come

Lord we know Your ways are not our ways
So we set our faith in who You are
Even though You reign high above us
You tenderly love us
We know Your heart
And we rest in who You are

Even if the healing doesn’t come
And life falls apart
And dreams are still undone
You are God; You are good
Forever faithful One
Even if the healing
Even if the healing doesn’t come

You’re still the Great and Mighty One
We trust You always
You’re working all things for our good
We’ll sing your praise

Even if the healing doesn’t come
And life falls apart
And dreams are still undone
You are Go;d You are good
Forever faithful One
Even if the healing
Even if the healing doesn’t come

You are God, and we will bless You
As the Good and Faithful One
You are God, and we will bless You
Even if the healing doesn’t come
Even if the healing doesn’t come

MAY I NEVER GET OVER THE CROSS

I see it on the steeple every time I pass a church.
It hangs there on the necklace I wear every day to work.
Is it a little too familiar? Has it become an empty symbol
I don't think about, ‘cause it's always around?

May I never get over the cross.
Lord, burn into my memory everything it cost.
Let me see you on that tree, dying for the lost.
Now and forever, may I never get over the cross

Can we really sing His praises or talk about His love
If we forget to mention the suffering and the blood?
Or how He was separated for the first time from His Father
There on Calvary? Oh, what agony!

May I never get over the cross.
Lord, burn into my memory everything it cost.
Let me see you on that tree, dying for the lost.
Now and forever, may I never get over the cross

CALVARY'S CRY

Jason Cox, Sue C. Smith and Kenna West

It was the hill that was pierced by the cross
It caught the blood that fell
It bore the weight of the sins of the world
And the Son of God as well
It heard the voice of the Lamb without blemish
And it shook as He cried "It is finished"

Calvary's cry is come to this place
Calvary's cry is still love and grace
Two thousand years can never erase the sacrifice
"Come and be saved!" is Calvary's cry

This is the ground that was claimed for the lost
In a great eternal plan
We testify there is no other way
And it's here we take our stand
The Truth is calling all who will listen
Make your way to the hill of redemption

Calvary's cry is come to this place
Calvary's cry is still love and grace
Two thousand years can never erase the sacrifice
"Come and be saved!" is Calvary's cry

After all this time, nothing has changed
It thunders with mercy
It whispers your name

Calvary's cry
Calvary's cry

Calvary's cry is come to this place
Calvary's cry is still love and grace
Two thousand years can never erase the sacrifice
"Come and be saved!" is Calvary's cry

CHANGING WORLD

Jon Micah Sumrall and Aaron Sprinkle

I thought I had it all under control
I thought my fate was still in my hands
All of my plans were firmly set
By the words that I say
I forgot how quickly things can change
Now my vision cannot be the same

My life is not what I thought
I'm not where I planned to be
Though something's gone
There's nothing wrong with my changing world
Though something's gone
There's nothing wrong with my changing world

I need to let go of my destiny
I need to trust in things unseen
I believe in having faith
Though I yield my control
I forgot how quickly things can change
Now my vision cannot be the same

My life is not what I thought
I'm not where I planned to be
Though something's gone
There's nothing wrong with my changing world
Though something's gone
There's nothing wrong with my changing world

I'm embracing all of my fears
I am watching them turn to delight
The very fears which were gripping my mind
Are now the hands shaping and sculpting my dreams

My life is not what I thought
I'm not where I planned to be
Though something's gone
There's nothing wrong with my changing world
Though something's gone
There's nothing wrong with my changing world

PRAY

Chris Rohman, Matt Hammitt and Chris Stevens

I bow my head to pray; I don't know what to say
I'm not sure how to fix the things I'm dealing with
I'm in a desperate place, I need to share the weight
But I just don't know how to let it all pour out
Though I'm silent, my heart is crying
'Cause I was made to come to You

So I pray
God, I need You more than words can say
Right here in this moment
You know my heart, You know my need
You know every part of me
So even if it's just to speak Your name
I'm gonna pray

I've failed to find the time, but You've been calling out
I let the days go by as if I could live without
But it's gotta be here now, I won't be pulled away
'Cause it's just You and I, so let the world around us fade

As I pray
God, I need You more than words can say
Right here in this moment
You know my heart, You know my need
You know every part of me
So even if it's just to speak Your name
I'm gonna pray

(Father)
Will You meet me here right now?
(Father)
I surrender, lay it down
(Father)
And every time I close my eyes
I know that I was made
To lift my hands and pray

You know my heart, You know my need
You know every part of me
More than words, You are my life
Take it as an offering

THERE IS A REASON

Andrew Osenga and Randall Goodgame

Late at night I wonder why, sometimes I wonder why
Sometimes I'm so tired, I dont even try
Seems everything around me fails
But I hold on to the promise that there is a reason

Late at night darkness makes it hard to see
The history of the saints who've gone in front of me
Through famine, plague and disbelief
His hand was still upon them
'Cause there is a reason; there is a reason

He makes all things good,
He makes all things good
There's a time to live, a time to die
A time for wonder and to wonder why
'Cause there is a reason, there is a reason,
There is a reason

I believe in a God who sent His only Son
To walk upon this world and give His life for us
With blood and tears on a long dark night
We know that He believed that there is a reason,
There is a reason

He makes all things good,
He makes all things good
There's a time to live, a time to die
A time for wonder and to wonder why
'Cause there is a reason, there is a reason,
There is a reason

For the lonely nights and broken hearts
The widow's mite in the rich man's hand
And the continent whose blood becomes a traitor
For the child afraid to close their eyes
The prayers that seem unanswered
There is a reason, there is a reason

He makes all things good,
He makes all things good
There's a time to live, a time to die
A time for wonder and to wonder why
'Cause there is a reason, there is a reason,
There is a reason

Stained Glass Masquerade

Mark Hall and Nichole Nordeman

Is there anyone that fails
Is there anyone that falls
Am I the only one in church today feelin' so small
Cause when I take a look around
Everybody seems so strong
I know they'll soon discover
That I don't belong
So I tuck it all away, like everything's okay
If I make them all believe it, maybe I'll believe it too
So with a painted grin, I play the part again
So everyone will see me the way that I see them

Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles to hide our pain
But if the invitation's open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade

Is there anyone who's been there
Are there any hands to raise
Am I the only one who's traded
In the altar for a stage
The performance is convincing
And we know every line by heart
Only when no one is watching
Can we really fall apart
But would it set me free
If I dared to let you see
The truth behind the person
That you imagine me to be

Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles to hide our pain
But if the invitation's open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade

Would your arms be open
Or would you walk away
Would the love of Jesus
Be enough to make you stay

Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles to hide our pain
But if the invitation's open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade

I STILL HAVE IT ALL

Caleb Collins & Marty Funderburk

I know there'll be storm clouds,
The thunder will roll.
I face waves of fear,
Sweeping over my soul.
I'll never be helpless,
Though the world round me falls,
For if I lose all I own,
My health and my home,
I still have it all.

In the midst of disaster,
When it seems all is lost,
I will still trust the master,
I will cling to the cross.
No trial can defeat me;
No they can't make me fall.
For if I have my faith,
I can rise up and say,
I still have it all.

Now you may have stumbled;
Oh and guilt keeps you down.
You can't even pray,
For defeat has you bound.
But if you'll cry Lord just save me,
He will answer your call.
And when the clouds roll away,
Then you too can say,
I still have it all.

In the midst of disaster,
When it seems all is lost,
I will still trust the master,
I will cling to the cross.
No trial can defeat me;
No they can't make me fall.
For if I have my faith,
I can rise up and say,
I still have it all.

WE STILL HAVE TO PRAY

Rodney Griffin

One day Isaac came with a burden
The son of promise had a heavy heart
You see, the wife God gave him was barren
He prayed, "Lord, is this your plan after all?"

Even when we're in God's will, we still must pray
Even while we hold His hand, we have to wait
In time, He will show the perfect way
Even when we're in God's will,
We still have to pray.

Isaac turned to his love, Rebekah
And said, "I've prayed, and God will be true."
Very soon came Esau and Jacob
The seed of hope that reaches me and you.

Even when we're in God's will, we still must pray
Even while we hold His hand, we have to wait
In time, He will show the perfect way
Even when we're in God's will,
We still have to pray.

You're wishing that the Lord
Would show you what's in store,
But He loves you way too much
To let you lose your faith's reward.
So stop and seek His face
Rest in His embrace
Tell Him that you trust Him
When you talk to Him today.

Even when we're in God's will, we still must pray
Even while we hold His hand, we have to wait
In time, He will show the perfect way
Even when we're in God's will,
We still have to pray.

THE WELL

John Mark Hall

I have what you need,
But you keep on searchin',
I've done all the work,
But you keep on workin',
When you're runnin' on empty,
And you can't find the remedy,
Just come to the well.

You can spend your whole life,
Chasin' what's missing,
But that empty inside,
It just ain't gonna listen.
When nothing can satisfy,
And the world leaves you high and dry,
Just come to the well

And all who thirst will thirst no more,
And all who search will find what their souls long for,
The world will try, but it can never fill,
So leave it all behind, and come to the well

So bring me your heart
No matter how broken,
Just come as you are,
When your last prayer is spoken,
Just rest in my arms a while,
You'll feel the change my child,
When you come to the well

And all who thirst will thirst no more,
And all who search will find what their souls long for,
The world will try, but it can never fill,
So leave it all behind, and come to the well

And now that you're full,
Of love beyond measure,
Your joy's gonna flow,
Like a stream in the desert,
Soon all the world will see that living water is found in me,
Cuz you came to the well

And all who thirst will thirst no more,
And all who search will find what their souls long for,
The world will try, but it can never fill,
So leave it all behind, and come to the well

HERE I GO AGAIN

Mark Hall

Father, hear my prayer
I need the perfect words
Words that he will hear
And know they're straight from You
I don't know what to say
I only know it hurts
To see my only friend slowly fade away

So maybe this time I'll speak the words of life
With Your fire in my eyes
But that old familiar fear is tearing at my words
What am I so afraid of?

'Cause here I go again
Talkin 'bout the rain
And mulling over things that won't live past today
And as I dance around the truth
Time is not his friend
This might be my last chance to tell him
That You love Him
But here I go again, here I go again

Lord, You love him so, You gave Your only Son
If he will just believe; he will never die
But how then will he know what he has never heard
Lord, he has never seen mirrored in my life

So maybe this time I'll speak the words of life
With Your fire in my eyes
But that old familiar fear is tearing at my words
What am I so afraid of?

'Cause here I go again
Talkin 'bout the rain
And mulling over things that won't live past today
And as I dance around the truth
Time is not his friend
This might be my last chance to tell him
That You love Him
But here I go again, here I go again

TAKE IT ALL

Mac Powell

All the promises I've broken
All the times I've let you down
You've forgotten them
But still I hold on to the pain that makes me drown
Now I'm ready
To let it go
To give it away

Take it all
'Cause I can't take it any longer
All I have, I can't make it on my own
Take the first, take the last
Take the good and take the rest
Here I am, all I have
Take it all

All the roads that lie before me
All the struggles I go through
Every second I'm reminded
That it all belongs to you
Now I'm ready
To let it go
To give it away

Take it all
'Cause I can't take it any longer
All I have, I can't make it on my own
Take the first, take the last
Take the good and take the rest
Here I am, all I have
Take it all

Ever since I died to myself
You gave a better life to me
I give you my finest moment
I give you the last breath I breathe

Take it all
'Cause I can't take it any longer
All I have, I can't make it on my own
Take the first, take the last
Take the good and take the rest
Here I am, all I have
Take it all

HOLD MY HEART

Jason Ingram, Phillip LaRue, Michael Donehey

How long must I pray
Must I pray to You?
How long must I wait
Must I wait for You?
How long till I see Your face
See You shining through?

I'm on my knees
Begging You to notice me
I'm on my knees
Father, will You turn to me

One tear in the driving rain
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart?
One life, that's all I am
Right now, I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Would You come close and hold my heart?

I've been so afraid, afraid to close my eyes
So much can slip away before I say goodbye
But if there's no other way
I'm done asking why

'Cause I'm on my knees
Begging You to notice me
I'm on my knees
Father, will You run to me, yeah

One tear in the driving rain
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart?
One life, that's all I am
Right now, I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Would You come close and hold my heart?

So many questions without answers
Your promises remain
I can't see but I'll take my chances
To hear you call my name
To hear you call my name

One tear in the driving rain
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart?
One life, that's all I am
Right now, I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Would You come close and hold my heart?

LORD, I NEED YOU

Jesse Reeves, Kristian Stanfill, Matt Maher, Christy Nockels and Daniel Carson

Lord, I come, I confess
Bowing here, I find my rest
Without You, I fall apart
You're the One that guides my heart

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh, God, how I need You

Where sin runs deep, Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are, Lord, I am free
Holiness is Christ in me

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh, God, how I need You

Teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand, I'll fall on You
Jesus, You're my hope and stay

Lord, I need You, oh, I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh, God, how I need You

THE SPACE IN BETWEEN US

Jason Roy and Jim Cooper

Look at my heart again
Look at the mess I've got it in
I'm learning to trust in You
To know that you'll see me
Through my pride
Through my shame
Into Your love
Into Your grace
I'm not looking back
Till I see Your face
I'm running straight to You

All I really want to do is to fall into
The emptiness that is
The space in-between us
To break this division
All I really want to do is to fall into
The emptiness that is
The space in-between us
Erase it and bring us together again

My life's an open book
Nothing is hidden when You look
You break through my boundaries
Revealing my insecurities
But through my pride
And through my shame
You show me love
You show me grace
I'm not looking back
Till I see your face
I'm running straight to you
Because . . .

All I really want to do is to fall into
The emptiness that is
The space in-between us
To break this division
All I really want to do is to fall into
The emptiness that is
The space in-between us
Erase it and bring us together again
Together again

Here I am saying I need you
I know I need you
Here I am; I'm coming to meet you
'Cause I want to see you

All I really want to do is to fall into
The emptiness that is
The space in-between us
All I really want to do is to fall into
The emptiness that is
The space in-between us
Erase it and bring us together

ALL THE WAY MY SAVIOR LEADS ME

Originally written by Fanny Crosby
Revised by Matt Redman & Chris Tomlin

All the way my Savior leads me;
Who have I to ask beside?
How could I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my guide?

All the way my Savior leads me;
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living Bread.

You lead me and keep me from falling.
You carry me close to Your heart.
And surely Your goodness and
Mercy will follow me.

All the way my Savior leads me;
O, the fullness of His love!
O, the sureness of His promise
In the triumph of His blood!

And when my spirit clothed immortal
Wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way!
Jesus led me all the way!

You lead me and keep me from falling.
You carry me close to Your heart.
And surely Your goodness and
Mercy will follow me.

All the way my Savior leads me.
All the way my Savior leads me.

FALL APART

Josh Wilson and Jeff Pardo

Why in the world did I think I could
Only get to know you when my life was good?
When everything just falls in place
The easiest thing is to give you praise
Now it all seems upside down

'Cause my whole world is caving in
But I feel you now more than I did then
How can I come to the end of me
But somehow still have all I need?
God, I want to know you more
Maybe this is how it starts
I find you when I fall apart

Blessed are the ones who understand
They've got nothing to bring but empty hands
Nothing to hide and nothing to prove
Our heartbreak brings us back to you
And it all seems upside down

'Cause my whole world is caving in
But I feel you now more than I did then
How can I come to the end of me
But somehow still have all I need?
God, I want to know you more
Maybe this is how it starts
I find you when I fall apart

I don't know how long this will last
I'm praying for the pain to pass
But maybe this is the best thing
That has ever happened to me

My whole world is caving in
But I feel you now more than I did then
How can I come to the end of me
But somehow still have all I need?
God, I want to know you more
Maybe this is how it starts
I find you when--
You will find me when--
I fall apart

WORN

Jason Ingram, Jeff Owen and Mike Donehey

I’m tired, I’m worn
My heart is heavy
From the work it takes
To keep on breathing
I’ve made mistakes
I’ve let my hope fail
My soul feels crushed
By the weight of this world
And I know that You can give me rest
So I cry out with all that I have left

Let me see redemption win
Let me know the struggle ends
That You can mend a heart
That’s frail and torn
I wanna know a song can rise
From the ashes of a broken life
And all that’s dead inside can be reborn
Cause I’m worn

I know I need to lift my eyes up
But I'm too weak
Life just won’t let up
And I know that You can give me rest
So I cry out with all that I have left

Let me see redemption win
Let me know the struggle ends
That You can mend a heart
That’s frail and torn
I wanna know a song can rise
From the ashes of a broken life
And all that’s dead inside can be reborn
Cause I’m worn

My prayers are wearing thin
Yeah, I’m worn
Even before the day begins
Yeah, I’m worn
I’ve lost my will to fight
I’m worn
So, Heaven, come and flood my eyes

Let me see redemption win
Let me know the struggle ends
That You can mend a heart
That’s frail and torn
I wanna know a song can rise
From the ashes of a broken life
And all that’s dead inside can be reborn
Cause all that’s dead inside will be reborn

NOTHING'S GONNA STOP US

Every journey needs a first step to start
Every fire grows from a single spark
A great symphony begins with just one note
One voice can give the whole world hope
There’s no impossible, nothing we can’t face
The tallest mountains are moved by a seed of faith
Come together, don’t you know that you’re not alone

We will rise up
For the kingdom come
Lay down our lives
For the sake of love
If God’s with us
We know that
Nothing’s gonna stop us
Nothing’s gonna stop us

He has called you, to all the places you’ll go
He’s the author of every dream that you hold
Come together, don’t you know that the time is now
The time is now

We will, rise up
For the kingdom come
Lay down, our lives
For the sake of love
If God’s with us
We know that
Nothing’s gonna stop us

No height, no depth
Could ever keep us from the love of God, I know, I know
No life, no death
Could ever separate us from the love of God, I’m sure

We will, rise up
For the kingdom come
Lay down, our lives
For the sake of love
If God’s with us
We know that
Nothing’s gonna stop us

SEE WHAT A MORNING

Stuart Townend and Keith Getty

See what a morning, gloriously bright
With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem
Folded the grave-clothes; tomb filled with light
As the angels announce, "Christ is risen"
See God's salvation plan
Wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice
Fulfilled in Christ the Man
For He lives; Christ is risen from the dead

See Mary weeping, "Where is He laid?"
As in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb
Hears a voice speaking, calling her name
It's the Master, the Lord raised to life again
The voice that spans the years
Speaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us
Will sound till He appears
For He lives; Christ is risen from the dead

One with the Father, Ancient of Days
Through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty
Honor and blessing, glory and praise
To the King crowned with power and authority
And we are raised with Him
Death is dead; love has won; Christ has conquered
And we shall reign with Him
For He lives; Christ is risen from the dead

HIS HAND IN MINE

Mosie Lister

You may ask me how I know my Lord is real
You may doubt the things I say and doubt the way I feel
But I know He's real today, He'll always be
I can feel His hand in mine and that's enough for me.

I will never walk alone, He holds my hand,
He will guide each step I take and if I fall I know he understands.
'Til the day He tells me why He loves me so,
I can feel His hand in mine that's all I need to know.

Other friends that I love so may pass me by
Other friends may never see the teardrops in my eyes
Other friends may never know that pain I bear
Every tear He wipes away and every heartache shares

I will never walk alone, He holds my hand,
He will guide each step I take and if I fall I know he understands.
When the time shall come to leave this world behind,
I will walk that lonesome valley with His hand in mine.

EVERYTHING I NEED

Dave Lubben and Jon Micah Sumrall

When every step is so hard to take
And all of my hope is fading away
When life is a mountain that I cannot climb
You carry me, Jesus, carry me.

You are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in my time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

When every moment is more than I can take
And all of my strength is slipping away
When every breath gets harder to breathe
You carry me, Jesus, carry me

You are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in my time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

SOMEBODY DIED FOR ME

He was a troubled kid in and out of jail
When his daddy said this is the last time I’ll pay bail
He enlisted in the army and they sent him to Iraq
He was a different man when he came back
Somebody said the army must’ve whipped you into shape
But he said that’s not the reason that I’ve changed

Somebody died for me
Before I even asked for help
Gave his life for me
When I couldn’t save myself
I cannot live the way I lived or be the way I was
Every day’s a gift to me because
Somebody died for me

Now they fold the flag and attach a silver star
While the grieving mother leans against his arm
Then he stands before the family and does his best to tell
How he survived the night his best friend fell
He says no one who knew him was surprised he died that way
He tried to live for Jesus, oh, he always used to say

Somebody died for me
Before I even asked for help
Gave his life for me
When I couldn’t save myself
I cannot live the way I lived or be the way I was
Every day’s a gift to me because
Somebody died for me

And I don’t wanna waste a moment
Of the time I have left
With every breath I’m given
God, help me not forget

Somebody died for me
Before I even asked for help
Gave his life for me
When I couldn’t save myself
I cannot live the way I lived or be the way I was
Every day’s a gift to me because
Somebody died for me

AFTER ALL

Author Unknown

In this life my trials are many
And sometimes my feet grow weary
And it seems that I would stumble and almost fall
But the gentle hand that leads me
Is the hand that keeps me steady
Give me grace that I will make it after all

After all this life is over
And my labor here is ended
And I climb upon the mountain top so tall
Looking over in the City
That my Savior is preparing
Give me grace that I will make it after all

By myself I cannot make it
But I know He's there to help me
If to Him in earnest prayer I keep on call
"Keep on trusting and believing"
Are the words I hear Him whisper
Just a few more days to labor after all

After all this life is over
And my labor here is ended
And I climb upon the mountain top so tall
Looking over in the City
That my Savior is preparing
Give me grace that I will make it after all

PAID IN FULL

Mitch Hunter

See our Savior hung between two thieves.
Hear the soldiers mock His name.
See His followers as they cry in disbelief,
This could not be the reason why He came.
See Him realize His life is through.
And see the love burn from His eyes.
Behold the temple veil as it is torn in two.
And hear the One on Calvary as He cries

Paid in full, I've done the work I came to do.
Paid in full, I've paid love's final price for you.
When all hell tries to tell you that you'll never win,
Just remember that the debt for your sin is paid in full.

See His children torn between two ways.
Some still choose to mock His name.
Hear His followers now as they can boldly say,
We are the reason that He came.
See the ones who trust themselves alone,
To do what only Christ can do.
Through Jesus' blood alone we may approach the Father's throne,
And hear the words that He still calls to you

Paid in full, I've done the work I came to do.
Paid in full, I've paid love's final price for you.
When all hell tries to tell you that you'll never win,
Just remember that the debt for your sin is paid in full.

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Wayne Watson

Now, all I have is now
To be faithful
To be holy
And to shine lighting up the darkness
Right now, I really have no choice
But to voice the truth to the nations
A generation looking for God

For such a time as this
I was placed upon the earth
To hear the voice of God
And do His will
Whatever it is
For such a time as this
For now and all the days He gives
I am here, I am here
And I am His
For such a time as this

You, Do you ever wonder why?
Seems like the grass is always greener
Under everybody else's sky
But right here, right here for this time and place
You can live a mirror of His mercy
A forgiven image of grace

For such a time as this
I was placed upon the earth
To hear the voice of God
And do His will
Whatever it is
For such a time as this
For now and all the days He gives
I am here, I am here
And I am His
For such a time as this

Can't change what's happened till now
But we can change what will be
By living in holiness
That the world will see Jesus

For such a time as this
I was placed upon the earth
To hear the voice of God
And do His will
Whatever it is
For such a time as this
For now and all the days He gives
I am here, I am here
And I am His
For such a time as this

LAY DOWN MY LIFE

All your pain
Will be made mine
All your troubles
The tears you cry
Give it up
All that binds
I will place it on my shoulders
And up this hill I’ll climb
Father, give me strength
I know there is no other way

I lay down my life for you
This is the moment when all will be made new
I know that you don’t understand
But this is part of a greater plan
So I lay down my life for you

This is love
That had to bleed
To bring you mercy
To set you free
You are mine
I am yours
And I will wear your burdens
Just like this crown of thorns
I will take your place
I know there is no other way

I lay down my life for you
This is the moment when all will be made new
I know that you don’t understand
But this is part of a greater plan
And I lay down my life for you

Give me all your pride
Give me all your fears
Give me all your secrets
Give me all your tears
Give me all you doubt
Give me all your shame
Watch them wash away
Watch them wash away
In Jesus’ name

I lay down my life for you
This is the moment when all will be made new
I know that you don’t understand
But this is part of a greater plan
And I lay down my life for you
Though I know that you don’t understand
These scars are part of a greater plan
And I lay down my life for you

Arms stretched out
Upon this tree
To show true love
To set you free

I FOUND GRACE

Roger Bennett

I sought for wisdom in the ways of this world
But no wisdom could be found
I sought for meaning in the words of great men
But their words just let me down
Not seeking justice for the things that I'd done
My soul needed mercy, and I found it in God's Son

Oh, I found grace
Grace at the foot of a rugged cross on Calvary
I found grace
Grace with the awesome power to set the captive free
I found grace – sustaining grace
So much grace – redeeming grace
Yes, I found grace, fulfilling grace,
Indwelling grace, His loving grace
Yes, I found grace, amazing grace to meet my needs

Give up the search; it's a useless dream you're chasing
You'll find no peace until you seek His face
The answer's right before you at the foot of the cross
You'll find that it's a holy place
Confess your sins, and lay them all down
Pick up your cross; let Jesus turn your life around

Oh, I found grace
Grace at the foot of a rugged cross on Calvary
I found grace
Grace with the awesome power to set the captive free
I found grace – sustaining grace
So much grace – redeeming grace
Yes, I found grace, fulfilling grace,
Indwelling grace, His loving grace
Yes, I found grace, amazing grace to meet my needs

REMEMBER

Laura Story

This is the body that was torn for us
This is the blood that was spilt
Points to the pain You endured for us
Points to the shame, the blame, the guilt

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Move our hearts to remember

This is the Lamb who was slain for us
So we the church may enter in
So bitter sweet when we think of You
The One who bore our curse, our sin

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Move our hearts to remember, to remember

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, come
Move our hearts to remember

MY NEW DAWN

Matt Bronleewe, Ashley Gorley and Chris Fauen

Hiding in the midnight
I've watched life pass me by
Haunted by each heartbreak
And mistake I've let weigh me down
Now it feels like

This is my new dawn
My yesterdays have come and gone
Walked in the dark too long
This is my new, this is my new dawn

I've washed my hands now
I've laid down all my doubt
I see that sun rising, baptizing
And shining straight into my soul

This is my new dawn
My yesterdays have come and gone
Walked in the dark too long
This is my new, this is my new dawn

Just like a child
Suddenly everything's new
The colors collide
And I see a beautiful view
Now I feel alive

This is my new dawn
My yesterdays have come and gone
Walked in the dark too long
This is my new, this is my new dawn

THE STRUGGLE

Brendan Shirley, Jason Jamison, Jeff Owen, Mike Donehey and Ruben Juarez

There's a wreckage, there's a fire
There's a weakness in my love
There's a hunger I can't control
Lord, I falter, and I fall down
Then I hold on to the chains You broke
When You came down and saved my soul
Saved my soul

Hallelujah,
We are free to struggle
We're not struggling to be free
Your blood bought and makes us children
So, children, drop your chains and sing

So, why Lord, do I still fail
Do I wear thin, do I still give in to temptation
On my own, I am bankrupt
I don't trust You or take you at Your word
What You've promised

Hallelujah,
We are free to struggle
We're not struggling to be free
Your blood bought and makes us children
So, children, drop your chains and sing

Hallelujah, death is overcome
And we are breathing
Hallelujah, our stone hearts become flesh
A flesh that's beating
Hallelujah, chains have been undone
And we are singing
Hallelujah, the fire has begun
Can you feel it?

Hallelujah,
We are free to struggle
We're not struggling to be free
Your blood bought and makes us children
So, children, drop your chains and sing

TO COUNT FOR JESUS

All want their lives to count for something
To leave their mark when life is through
But vain pursuits will come to nothing
Time will erase whate'er we do.

I want my life to count for Jesus
For earthly things will quickly fade
No need to add to worldy riches
I only seek eternal gain.

Inside my heart there burns a question
What was I placed on earth here for
It truly was to build a kingdom
Not of my own but of the Lord's.

I want my life to count for Jesus
For earthly things will quickly fade
No need to add to worldy riches
I only seek eternal gain.

PERFECT PEACE

Laura Story

Stay close by My side
Keep your eyes on Me
Though this life is hard
I will give you perfect peace

In this time of trial
Pain that no one sees
Trust me when I say
That I will give you perfect peace

And you'll never walk alone
And you'll never be in need
Though I may not calm the storms around you
You can hide in Me

Burdens that you bear
Offer no relief
Let Me bear your load
'Cause I will give you perfect peace

Stay close by My side
And you'll never walk alone
Keep your eyes on Me
And you'll never be in need
Though this life is hard
Know that I will always give you perfect peace
I will give you perfect peace

I GO TO CALVARY

Lord, I get lost going the way I want
Trip and fall in places I don't belong
Lose sight of the difference in lies and truth
'Til I turn my eyes toward You… and

I go to Calvary, I get on my knees
Get back to the place,
Where You showed Your holy grace
I go to Calvary, where You rescued me
Washed away my sin and made me alive again
I go to Calvary, I go to Calvary

Just last week, I was talking to a friend
Telling me he feels like he's reached the end
Who should he believe?
He wants to know the truth
I said I've been there, and this is what I do

I go to Calvary, I get on my knees
Get back to the place,
Where He showed His holy grace
I go to Calvary, where He rescued me
Washed away my sin and made me alive again
I go to Calvary, I go to Calvary

THE GRACE THAT I'M UNDER

Jimmy Dooley

I can’t get over there’s angels watching over me
And the hand of God will catch me if I fall
Just to know that He abides with me,
To know He walks beside of me
He gives me strength to overcome it all.

I can’t get over, the grace that I’m under
His mercy overwhelms me everyday
Just to know that I’m forgiven,
And to know that I’ve been saved
I can’t get over that I’m under His grace

No greater love has any man than this,
That He Would lay down His life
He died for me while I was yet a sinner
For my redemption, Jesus paid the price
He paid the price

I can’t get over, the grace that I’m under
His mercy overwhelms me everyday
Just to know that I’m forgiven,
And to know that I’ve been saved
I can’t get over that I’m under His grace

I can't get over His mercy
I can't get over His love
I can't get over the cross
I can't get over the blood

I can’t get over, the grace that I’m under
His mercy overwhelms me everyday
Just to know that I’m forgiven,
And to know that I’ve been saved
I can’t get over that I’m under His grace

YOU'RE NOT FORSAKEN

Rodney Griffin

Paul was writing to a people hurting
Who felt forsaken by God
He said, "My children, the only One forsaken
Was the Savior on the cross."

So, child, rejoice
You're not forsaken
You're resting safe in His arms
Lift up your voice
And sing His praises
Then bring your burden to the cross
Where Jesus hung there for us forsaken
Our separation now is gone
Oh, weary pilgrim, the dawn is breaking
You're gonna make it
You're not alone

So, if you feel like God's not watching
And He's stopped caring, and you're on your own
Remember Jesus was by the Father rejected
Friend, that's a feeling you'll never know

So, child, rejoice
You're not forsaken
You're resting safe in His arms
Lift up your voice
And sing His praises
Then bring your burden to the cross
Where Jesus hung there for us forsaken
Our separation now is gone
Oh, weary pilgrim, the dawn is breaking
You're gonna make it
You're not alone

BOW THE KNEE

Ron Hamilton

What a privilege to come into God's presence,
Just to linger with the One who set me free.
As I lift my eyes and see His awesome glory,
I remember who He is and bow the knee.

Bow the knee, bow the knee,
He is King of all the ages, bow the knee!
God alone on His throne,
See Him high and lifted up and bow the knee!
Kneel before Him, all adore Him.
As you live to love Him more, bow the knee.

In His hand He holds the power of creation.
With His voice He spoke, and all things came to be.
Yet He hears each simple prayer I bring before Him
When I humbly seek His face and bow the knee.

Bow the knee, bow the knee,
He is King of all the ages, bow the knee!
God alone on His throne,
See Him high and lifted up and bow the knee!
Kneel before Him, all adore Him.
As you live to love Him more, bow the knee.

STRANGELY DIM

Francesca Battistelli, Mia Fields and Seth Mosley

I've got all these plans piled up sky high
A thousand dreams on hold
And I don't know why,
I got a front row seat
To the longest wait
And I just can't see
Past the things I pray
Today

But when I fix my eyes on all that You are
Then every doubt I feel
Deep in my heart
Grows strangely dim
All my worries fade
And fall to the ground
'Cause when I seek Your face
And don't look around
Any place I'm in
Grows strangely dim

Sometimes where I stand
On this narrow road
Is in a raging storm
Or a valley low
But oh. . .

When I fix my eyes on all that You are
Then every doubt I feel
Deep in my heart
Grows strangely dim
All my worries fade
And fall to the ground
Cause when I seek Your face
And don't look around
Any place I'm in
Grows strangely dim

I don't know, I don't know
What tomorrow may hold
But I know, but I know
That You're holding it all
So no matter what may come

I'm gonna fix my eyes on all that You are
'Til every doubt I feel
Deep in my heart
Grows strangely dim
Let all my worries fade
And fall to the ground
I'm gonna seek Your face
And not look around
Til the place I'm in
Grows strangely, strangely, strangely dim.

LOOK UP

Tony Wood, Phil Johnson and Kevin Stokes

No way to hide from the consequence
Of choices that you made
No way to ignore the evidence
Of things that you can't change
Before you and behind you,
There's no hope to be found
All you see are scenes of so much
Sadness all around

Look up -- God is looking on
He sees all you're going through
Look up -- You are not alone
Though it seems that way to you
With your eyes on yourself,
Hope is far away,
But things are beginning to
Look up -- the moment when you
Look up!

I know right now He seems far away
And you wonder if He cares
But all that you've felt through all your days
Are hurts that His heart shares.
There's a work of grace and power
You think is out of view
But with faith and forgiveness
Who knows what God may do?

Look up -- God is looking on
He sees all you're going through
Look up -- You are not alone
Though it seems that way to you
With your eyes on yourself,
Hope is far away,
But things are beginning to
Look up -- the moment when you
Look up!

HIGHER PERSPECTIVE

Lynn Hunt

The things I do may not mean much;
They seem so insufficient
I don't understand how these poor gifts
Can bring such delight to You
With each small step I take,
I take two in the wrong direction
Yet You're always by my side gently guiding me.

I'm not perfect, Lord, I never will be
Please help me to see from a higher perspective
I am weak and afraid - stumbling along the way
And my weakness is made perfect in Your unfailing love.

I'm frustrated by myself, by my self-indulgence
Perfection seems so far, seems so far away
But even as I mourn, as I mourn my failures
You make my failures work for good
And You mourn my self defeat (and you keep on loving me)
And you mourn my self defeat.

I'm not perfect, Lord, I never will be
Please help me to see from a higher perspective
I am weak and afraid - stumbling along the way
And my weakness is made perfect in Your unfailing love.

I can't compare myself to others
You made me unique
I can't wait for a change in myself
You've already made me complete
I can't submit to self-pity
As the demons in hell do
I can only cast my fears, my doubts, my inhibitions on You

You make me perfect, Lord
You put your soul in me
And You help me to see
From a higher perspective
You give me strength when I'm afraid
You show me a better way
And my weakness is made perfect in Your unfailing love

BY FAITH

Too many times
I let the voice of fear
Control the way I live
And silence every dream
Too many days
Been paralyzed by doubt
The questions scream and shout

And I waste another day

It's time to let go
Of what I don't know
To see what I can't see

I'm gonna walk by faith
One step closer to You
I will live by faith
In the light of Your truth
I'm gonna love by faith
Because You first loved me
And fear will have no place
I will live by faith

No turning back
I'm holding on to truth
My heart is set on You
I will not be shaken
And even when
The shadow of deceit
Attempts to take me down
Your love will cover me

And I will let go
Of all I don't know
Trusting You alone

I'm gonna walk by faith
One step closer to You
I will live by faith
In the light of Your truth
I'm gonna love by faith
Because You first loved me
And fear will have no place
I will live by faith

I cannot see
Beyond what's in front of me
But You see it all so clearly
Faith gives me eyes
To simply believe
And one day I'll see…

I'm gonna walk by faith
One step closer to You
I will live by faith
In the light of Your truth
I'm gonna love by faith
Because You first loved me
And fear will have no place
I will live by faith
