IMAGINE A KING

Mervyn Warren & Hallerin Hilton Hill
Revised by Dana Rongione

Mary and Joseph always believed
That their little Baby was special indeed
And He could grow up to be anything,
But who would imagine a King?

A shepherd or teacher is what He could be,
Or maybe a fisherman out on the sea,
Or maybe a carpenter building things,
But who would imagine a King?

It was so clear when the wise men arrived,
And the angels were singing Your name
That the world would be different 'cause You are alive
That's why Heaven stood still to proclaim.

One day, Jesus came to earth for you and me
To pay sin's awful debt on an old rugged tree
And to think that someone would die just for me,
But who would imagine a King?

IT CAME UPON A MIDNIGHT CLEAR

Edmund H. Sears

It came upon a midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth,
To touch their harps of gold;
“Peace on the earth, good will to men,
From Heaven’s all gracious King.”
The world in solemn stillness lay,
To hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come
With peaceful wings unfurled,
And still their heavenly music floats
O’er all the weary world;
Above its sad and lowly plains,
They bend on hovering wing,
And ever over its Babel sounds
The blessed angels sing.

Yet with the woes of sin and strife
The world has suffered long;
Beneath the angel strain have rolled
Two thousand years of wrong;
And man, at war with man, hears not
The love-song which they bring;
O hush the noise, ye men of strife
And hear the angels sing.

And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,
Whose forms are bending low,
Who toil along the climbing way
With painful steps and slow,
Look now! for glad and golden hours
Come swiftly on the wing.
O rest beside the weary road,
And hear the angels sing!

For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophet-bards foretold,
When with the ever circling years
Comes round the age of gold;
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors bring,
And the whole world send back the song
Which now the angels sing.

JOY TO THE WORLD

Isaac Watts

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

ANGELS FROM THE REALMS OF GLORY

James Montgomery

Angels, from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o'er all the earth;
Ye, who sang creation's story,
Now proclaim Messiah's birth.

Come and worship! Come and worship!
Worship Christ the newborn King!

Shepherds, in the fields abiding,
Watching o'er your flocks by night,
God with man is now residing
Yonder shines the infant Light.

Come and worship! Come and worship!
Worship Christ the newborn King!

Sages, leave your contemplations,
Brighter visions beam afar;
Seek the great Desire of nations,
Ye have seen his natal star.

Come and worship! Come and worship!
Worship Christ the newborn King!

All creation, join in praising
God, the Father, Spirit, Son,
Evermore your voices raising
To the eternal Three in One.

Come and worship! Come and worship!
Worship Christ the newborn King!

LOVE AND GRACE

Author Unknown

The woman was surrounded by accusers
Every man was picking up a stone
Standing there in pride and pointing fingers
Claiming that her right to life was gone
Jesus made His way and knelt between them
Writing freedom’s message in the sand
When He reminded them there’s not a man without sin
You could see her start to smile again

Love and grace makes real the gospel message
Love and grace takes all the shame away
Love and grace breaks the heavy chains of bondage
Gives every heart a resting place
Love and grace sings a happy song of praises
Love and grace seems to brighten up the day
Love and grace brings us up to heavenly places
Just to know the debts been paid
And Heaven’s on the way
Makes the world a better place
Love and grace

Every day we represent the Master
With a chance to show His love within our hearts
By showing grace to a struggling brother
We give the one who fell another start
Knowing there is no one great among us
No one who should dare pick up a stone
If we’re gonna win this world to Jesus
It’ll be by love and grace alone

Love and grace makes real the gospel message
Love and grace takes all the shame away
Love and grace breaks the heavy chains of bondage
Gives every heart a resting place
Love and grace sings a happy song of praises
Love and grace seems to brighten up the day
Love and grace brings us up to heavenly places
Just to know the debts been paid
And Heaven’s on the way
Makes the world a better place
Love and grace

UNFAILING LOVE

Jon Abel, Carl Richard Pierce, Don Chaffer and Jeff Lee Johnson

You have my heart
And I am Yours forever
You are my strength
God of grace and power
And everything You hold in Your hand
Still You make time for me
I can't understand

Praise You,God of earth and sky
How beautiful is Your unfailing love
Unfailing love
And You never change, God, You remain
The Holy One
My unfailing love
Unfailing love

You are my rock
The One I hold on to
You are my song
And I sing for You
And everything You hold in Your hand
Still You make time for me
I can't understand

Praise You, God of earth and sky
How beautiful is Your unfailing love
Unfailing love
And You never change, God, You remain
The Holy One
My Unfailing love
Unfailing love

HE'S EVERYTHING I NEED

Weary, down-trodden believer, I know the burden reliever,
He is the sinless Redeemer, He's my best friend;
I met Him on bended knee, He met me at Calvary,
Underneath that rugged tree, that's where I've been.

Now He dries every tear I cry, He answers when I ask "why",
He's every single little thing I need;
He is faithful down to the end, He's closer than a brother's been,
When I think about all He is, that's all I need.

Christian, don't give up trying; mountains were made for climbing,
The One who walks beside me will stand by you;
I've never known Him to fail, He's conquered both death and hell,
So do not doubt that He will prevail; I've seen what He can do.

Now He dries every tear I cry, He answers when I ask "why",
He's every single little thing I need;
He is faithful down to the end, He's closer than a brother's been,
When I think about all He is, that's all I need.

YES, I AM

Phil Cross

It is settled, I am certain in my heart and in my mind
I will pass the glory curtain, and I'll leave the world behind
I will stand with the immortal with a happy landing view
And I'll journey through the portals down the golden avenue

I'm gonna leave some glorious morning,
Yes I am, Yes I am
I'm gonna cross the chilly Jordan,
Yes I am, Yes I am
Though the water is deep and the river is wide
I'm gonna stand on the other side
I'm gonna live in the Heaven some day
Yes I am, Yes I am

I am waiting at the station listening closely for the call
I have made my reservations through the One who paid it all
Not by might, not by power, but in Christ and Christ alone
I'm leaving any moment; praise the Lord, I'm going home!

I'm gonna leave some glorious morning,
Yes I am, Yes I am
I'm gonna cross the chilly Jordan,
Yes I am, Yes I am
Though the water is deep and the river is wide
I'm gonna stand on the other side
I'm gonna live in the Heaven some day
Yes I am, Yes I am

ONE HOLY LAMB

Phil Cross and Cindi Ballard

Atonement day, a shepherd cries.
Another spotless lamb must die.
Oh, how could just one sacrifice
Our God Jehovah satisfy?

Year after year, the blood would flow,
But none could wash me white as snow!
Salvation's day fulfilled the plan,
The promise came--One Holy Lamb.

One Holy Lamb washed my sin away!
One Sacrifice paid the price I could not pay.
One Holy Lamb, One Great I Am,
One seed of Abraham,
One Holy Lamb washed my sin away!

Atonement day, the Father cries,
The spotless Son of God must die!
One final death for every man.
One blood, one life, One Holy Lamb!

One Holy Lamb washed my sin away!
One Sacrifice paid the price I could not pay.
One Holy Lamb, One Great I Am,
One seed of Abraham,
One Holy Lamb washed my sin away!

HIS RESPONSE

Kyla Rowland

What a sinner was I
What a lost, hungry soul
But I approached Calvary to see
If the story I'd heard
Was true to God's Word
Could Jesus pardon a sinner like me?

His response was redemptive
His answer was love
Oh, how could I ever be sad?
Looking back to Mount Calvary
Looking back from where He brought me
His response was "Redeemed" and I'm glad.

Daily I go to God's throne room of grace
And there I petition my pleas
For forgiveness I cry,
And for needs I apply
And His answer amazes a beggar like me.

And soon I shall go to my Heavenly home
And there at the judgment I'll see
That it's not by my works
I have done here on earth
But He'll say I am welcomed
Because I'm redeemed

His response was redemptive
His answer was love
Oh, how could I ever be sad?
Looking back to Mount Calvary
Looking back from where He brought me
His response was "Redeemed" and I'm glad.

IF IT COULDN'T BE DONE

Beverly Lowry & Marty Funderburk

I told God I would go anywhere,
Except that one place way over there
Well, what do you suppose God told me to do
He said, "That's the very place I'm sending you to."
Then I thought of every reason that it wouldn't work out
And I named them one by one.
But He said, "There's nothing to it and
I wouldn't say do it if I knew it couldn't be done!"

He wouldn't say, "Do it" if it couldn't be done
He wouldn't say, "Win them" if they couldn't be won
So you might as well obey 'cause you know He wouldn't say
"Do it", if it couldn't be done.

How has God been talking to you?
Is there something that He's told you to do?
But you are paralyzed by worry and dread
You'll never know the blessing 'til you do what He said
Just remember God is able, and He'll make a way
And the battle will be won when you say. "There's nothing to it
And He wouldn't say do it if He knew it couldn't be done."

He wouldn't say, "Do it" if it couldn't be done
He wouldn't say, "Win them" if they couldn't be won
So you might as well obey 'cause you know He wouldn't say
"Do it", if it couldn't be done.

WE ARE BROKEN

Allen Shamblin and Sonya Isaacs

I know you're hurting; your heart needs healing,
Let me dry your eyes; I know what you're feeling;
Like the sun will never shine again,
Like the pain inside will never end;
Sometimes it takes a little faith to mend.

We are broken to become more beautiful,
Tried by fire to shine like gold;
We are shattered to free the diamonds in our souls,
We are broken to be whole.

Love let you fall, now you're in pieces,
And your thoughts are scattered, what are the reasons?
Oh, but time will work as medicine,
And you'll find your wings to fly again;
Higher than you've ever been.

We are broken to become more beautiful,
Tried by fire to shine like gold;
We are shattered to free the diamonds in our souls,
We are broken to be whole.

BROKEN WORLD

Author Unknown

Jenny’s got more month than she’s got money
Works three jobs; she’s barely getting by
Bob got word his Mom's been told it's cancer
So many questions, and all of them ask why

We’re living in a broken world
And a broken world won’t give you any answers
Everything is upside down
Wrong is right and right is wrong
But not for long, no, not for long

This broken world is cradled by a Savior
And nothing here can take Him by surprise
Someday all this hurting will be over
And every tears been wiped away and dried
But for now, we’re living in a broken world
But not for long, no, not for long

Mama spends her wakin' hours prayin'
Her child's done gone left everything behind
Daddy’s getting tired; his faith is fadin'
You can’t get water from a well that’s runnin' dry

We’re living in a broken world
And a broken world won’t give you any answers
Everything is upside down
Wrong is right and right is wrong
But not for long, no, not for long

This broken world is cradled by a Savior
And nothing here can take Him by surprise
Someday all this hurting will be over
And every tears been wiped away and dried
But for now, we’re living in a broken world
But not for long, no, not for long

HEAVEN CAN'T BE FAR AWAY

Author Unknown

This is the old ship of Zion,
And we're sailing toward that city.
I see the lights so faintly shining,
As we're moving toward the shore.
Sometimes I think I hearing singing,
As saints are greeting on that day.
It brings a thrill to my spirit,
For heaven can't be far away.

We can't be far from that city,
For I can see walls of jasper.
The gates of pearl are swinging open,
Leading to the streets of gold.
Saints of every land are shouting,
And Heaven's choir has started singing.
This old body is feeling sweet release,
Heaven can't be far away.

Oh, what a sight - what a reunion,
As precious loved ones are reunited.
I see my mother; there's my father,
They're rejoicing around the throne.
Now all the angels, they're crying, "Holy,"
As Gabriel's horn is about to play,
Oh, my steps are getting lighter,
For heaven can't be far away.

We can't be far from that city,
For I can see walls of jasper.
The gates of pearl are swinging open,
Leading to the streets of gold.
Saints of every land are shouting,
And Heaven's choir has started singing.
This old body is feeling sweet release,
Heaven can't be far away.

BEAUTIFUL VALLEY

Marcia Henry

In this beautiful valley that He's put me in,
I'm learning to trust and draw strength from Him.
I'll not despise the lessons He gives,
For in this beautiful valley, I'm learning to live.

The shadows around me can't hide the Son,
Or hold back the dawning of a new day to come.
Walking beside me is Jesus, God's Son
And He'll ever be with me 'til the testing is done.

In this beautiful valley that He's put me in,
I'm learning to trust and draw strength from Him.
I'll not despise the lessons He gives,
For in this beautiful valley, I'm learning to live.

When there's a lesson for learning, He'll take you aside,
To walk in the valley close by your side.
Upon the mountain, sweet blessing He gives,
But down in the valley is where we learn to live.

In this beautiful valley that He's put me in,
I'm learning to trust and draw strength from Him.
I'll not despise the lessons He gives,
For in this beautiful valley, I'm learning to live.

I WON'T LOOK AT THE LIONS

Rodney Griffin

As I go a walking on the journey
I often am tempted as I go
To focus my attention on the worry
When I should be looking at the One who's in control
That's when I open up the Bible
And see where the men of God turned their eyes
When they were overcome by tribulation
They just kept looking toward the prize

Daniel did not look at the lions
Stephen did not look at the stones
David did not look at Goliath
Though Goliath looked so big and strong
Moses did not look at the Red Sea
Noah did not look at the flood
Daniel did not look at the lions
When he put his trust in God

So when a roaring lion comes against you
Well, don't let him distract you as you run
Just keep your eyes upon the Savior
He will guide you safely 'til your work on earth is done
Well, remember all the heroes of the Bible
Were just common folks who took the time to pray
When our eyes are fixed upon the Father
We'll never have a need to turn away

Daniel did not look at the lions
Stephen did not look at the stones
David did not look at Goliath
Though Goliath looked so big and strong
Moses did not look at the Red Sea
Noah did not look at the flood
Daniel did not look at the lions
When he put his trust in God

I won't look at the lions,
No, I won't look at the stones
I won't look at Goliath
Though Goliath looks so big and strong
I won't look at the Red Sea
I won't look at the flood
I won't look a the lions
When I put my trust in God

HE LIFTED ME

HE LIFTED ME  (HE LIFTED ME)
OUT OF THE LOWLY DEPTHS OF SIN
HE LIFTED ME  (HE LIFTED ME)
WITH A LOVE THAT KNOWS NO END
HE TOOK MY HAND  (HE TOOK MY HAND)
PULLED ME OUT OF THE SINKING SAND
GAVE NEW LIFE THAT NEVER ENDS
I'M SO GLAD THAT JESUS CAME AND LIFTED ME!

FIGHTING ALONE IN THE BATTLE
STRUGGLING THROUGH EACH DAY
SEARCHING FOR MEANS OF SURVIVAL
BUT NONE WAS ON THE WAY
THEN THE MERCIFUL HAND OF JESUS
CAME BECKONING FROM ABOVE
AND THE MOMENT THAT I TRUSTED HIM
HE FILLED ME WITH HIS LOVE

HE LIFTED ME  (HE LIFTED ME)
OUT OF THE LOWLY DEPTHS OF SIN
HE LIFTED ME  (HE LIFTED ME)
WITH A LOVE THAT KNOWS NO END
HE TOOK MY HAND  (HE TOOK MY HAND)
PULLED ME OUT OF THE SINKING SAND
GAVE NEW LIFE THAT NEVER ENDS
I'M SO GLAD THAT JESUS CAME AND LIFTED ME!

LOOKING BACK OVER THE WONDERS
I'VE SEEN ALONG THE WAY
I'VE BEEN TOUCHED BY HIS POWER
I'VE BEEN BLESSED IN MANY WAYS
BUT NOTHING WILL EVER COMPARE TO
THE BLESSING I RECEIVED
THAT DAY MY NAME WAS ADDED TO
THE LIST OF THE REDEEMED

HE LIFTED ME  (HE LIFTED ME)
OUT OF THE LOWLY DEPTHS OF SIN
HE LIFTED ME  (HE LIFTED ME)
WITH A LOVE THAT KNOWS NO END
HE TOOK MY HAND  (HE TOOK MY HAND)
PULLED ME OUT OF THE SINKING SAND
GAVE NEW LIFE THAT NEVER ENDS
I'M SO GLAD THAT JESUS CAME AND LIFTED ME!

THROUGH THE FIRE

So many times I've questioned certain circumstances
Or things I could not understand
Many times in trials, weakness blurs my vision
And my frustration gets so out of hand
It's then I am reminded I've never been forsaken
I've never had to stand the test alone
As I look at all the victories
The spirit rises up in me
And it's through the fire my weakness is made strong

He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
He never offered our victories without fighting
But He said help would always come in time
Just remember when your standing in the valley of decision
And the adversary says give in
Just hold on, our Lord will show up
And He will take you through the fire again

I know within myself that I would surely perish
But if I trust the hand of God, He'll shield the flames again, again

He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
He never offered our victories without fighting
But He said help would always come in time
Just remember when your standing in the valley of decision
And the adversary says give in
Just hold on, our Lord will show up
And He will take you through the fire again

HE CALLED ME OUT

Mark Mathes

I'll never forget that wonderful day
When Jesus saved my soul,
I knelt down at an old-fashioned altar,
Oh, how the glory did roll!
I went to Him on bended knee
And left there with a shout,
I'll never forget that wonderful day
When Jesus called me out.

He called me out and I answered, "Savior!"
He spoke my name and I answered, "Lord!"
He filled my cup with an everlasting water;
I'll never forget that wonderful day

When Jesus called me out.

They tell me the moment I prayed thru,
The angels marched around,
They lifted their wings and sang a glad song:
"A lost soul has been found!"
My name was written in the Book,
And it shall never fade.
I'll never forget that wonderful day,
The day that I was saved.

He called me out and I answered, "Savior!"
He spoke my name and I answered, "Lord!"
He filled my cup with an everlasting water;
I'll never forget that wonderful day

When Jesus called me out.

AT YOUR FEET

Mark Hall and Jason Ingram

Here at Your feet, I lay my past down
My wanderings, all my mistakes down
And I am free
Here at Your feet, I lay this day down
Not in my strength, but in Yours I’ve found
All I need, You’re all I need

Jesus, Jesus, at Your feet
Oh, to dwell and never leave
Jesus, Jesus, at Your feet
There is nowhere else for me
There is nowhere else for me

Here at Your feet, I lay my future down
All of my dreams, I give to You now
And I find peace, I find peace
Here at Your feet, I lay my life down
For You my King, You’re all I want now
And my soul sings…

‘Cause I am free (here at Your feet)
All I need (is at Your feet)
I find peace
We’re at Your feet
We’re at Your feet
And I am free (here at Your feet)
All I need (is at Your feet)
I find peace

THIS LOVE IS MINE

Mosie Lister

A living flame forever burning
An endless road that has no turning
The love of God will never die
And it reaches to such as I

This love is mine I know it
He gave His Son to show it
He lifted me from depths of darkness
To walk in light divine
A love that has no ending
All other loves transcending
Forevermore with joy I’ll tell it
This love is mine

I can’t explain how God could save me
And I can’t explain the love He gave me
But still it’s real. It lives today,
And it never will pass away.

This love is mine I know it
He gave His Son to show it
He lifted me from depths of darkness
To walk in light divine
A love that has no ending
All other loves transcending
Forevermore with joy I’ll tell it
This love is mine

HOW GREAT THOU ART

Carl Gustaf Boberg and Stuart K. Hine

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Thinkin' About Home

Author Unknown

"A penny for your thoughts," I said to the old man,
As he sat there on the park bench all alone.
With silver hair and wrinkled brow, eyes gleaming,
He smiled and said, "I'm just thinkin' about my home."

I sat down, and we shared some laughs together,
And the cinema of remembrance, it did roll.
We talked about life's gains and its losses,
But mostly, he just talked about his home.

He said, "I'm thinkin' about home,
Thinkin' about going home.
I'm dreaming 'bout leaving here,
Ready to be moving on.
It won't be long before the sun will set, and I'll be gone,
But until then, I'll be thinkin' about home."

I said, "Tell me, old man, where's your home and what's it like?"
He said, "Oh, ain't nothing 'round here that compares.
You see, a King had it built and gave the deed to me,
And all my family's already there.

And I'm thinkin' about home,
Thinkin' about going home.
I'm dreaming 'bout leaving here,
Ready to be moving on.
It won't be long before the sun will set, and I'll be gone,
But until then, I'll be thinkin' about home."

HE'S SENDING MIRACLES

Sandy Knight

MY DEAR LORD, I HAVE A NEED
IN MY HEART TODAY, YOU SEE
I NEED A MIRACLE. I NEED YOUR TOUCH
I HAVE NO OTHER FRIEND TO CALL ON
SO LORD, HEAR ME ONCE AGAIN
I NEED A MIRACLE FROM THINE ALMIGHTY HAND

HE’S SENDING MIRACLES DOWN MY WAY
HE’S SENDING BLESSINGS AND ANSWERS
ALONG TO GUIDE MY WAY
SO IF I CAN JUST BELIEVE
AND IF I CAN ONLY RECEIVE
I’LL GET A MIRACLE SENT DOWN TO ME

AND WHEN I FEEL THE END IS NEAR
I FEEL THE GRASP OF DOUBT AND FEAR
SEND ME A MIRACLE. SEND YOUR TOUCH
FOR THERE’S SUCH POWER IN YOUR HAND, LORD
AND JUST A TOUCH WILL DO
I NEED A MIRACLE TO TAKE ME THROUGH

HE’S SENDING MIRACLES DOWN MY WAY
HE’S SENDING BLESSINGS AND ANSWERS
ALONG TO GUIDE MY WAY
SO IF I CAN JUST BELIEVE
AND IF I CAN ONLY RECEIVE
I’LL GET A MIRACLE SENT DOWN TO ME

BREAD UPON THE WATER

Janny Grein and Bill Grein

Well, there are people who think they´re not receiving
Anything from God at all
Oh, they are shaken from their believing
When they don´t see results they quickly fall

Oh, but don´t you waver; keep on living
In the way God wants you to
Don´t get discouraged; keep on givin’
Soon it will come back to you

You gotta keep on casting your bread upon the water
Soon it´s gonna come back home on every wave
Keep on casting your bread upon the water
Soon it´s gonna come back home on every wave
Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over
Soon it´s gonna come back home on every wave

Oh, keep on working for the kingdom
Instead of working for your needs
Keep on sharing the love of Jesus
You know growing comes from plantin’ seeds

You gotta keep on casting your bread upon the water
Soon it´s gonna come back home on every wave
Keep on casting your bread upon the water
Soon it´s gonna come back home on every wave
Good measure pressed down, shaken together, running over
Soon it´s gonna come back home on every wave

GOODBYE, WORLD, GOODBYE

 Mosie Lister

I told all my troubles “Goodbye”
Goodbye to each tear and each sigh
This world where I roam cannot be my home
I’m bound for that land in the sky
I walk and I talk with my Lord
I feast every day on His Word
Heaven is near and I can’t stay here
Goodbye, World, Goodbye

Now don’t you weep for me when I’m gone
‘Cause I won’t have to leave here alone
And when I hear that last trumpet sound
My feet won’t stay on the ground
Gonna rise with a shout, gonna fly
Gonna ride with my Lord through the sky
Heaven is near, and I can’t stay here
Goodbye, World, Goodbye

Well, I won’t have the blues anymore
When I step across to that shore
And I’ll never pine for I’ll leave behind
My heartaches and tears evermore
A day, maybe two then goodbye
Tomorrow I’ll rise up and fly
Heaven is near and I can’t stay here
Goodbye, World, Goodbye

Now don’t you weep for me when I’m gone
‘Cause I won’t have to leave here alone
And when I hear that last trumpet sound
My feet won’t stay on the ground
Gonna rise with a shout, gonna fly
Gonna ride with my Lord through the sky
Heaven is near, and I can’t stay here
Goodbye, World, Goodbye

DAYSTAR

Steve Richardson

Lily of the Valley, let your sweet aroma fill my life
Rose of Sharon, show me how to grow in beauty in God’s sight
Fairest of Ten Thousand, make me a reflection of your light
Daystar, shine down on me; let your love shine through me in the night.

Lead me, Lord, I’ll follow, anywhere you open up the door
Let your words speak to me, show me what I’ve never seen before
Lord, I long to be your witness; you can take what’s wrong and make it right
Daystar, shine down on me; let your love shine through me in the night.

Lord, I see your world that’s dying, wounded by the master of deceit
Groping in the darkness, haunted by the years of past defeat
But when I see you standing near me Lord, shining with compassion in your eyes
I pray Jesus shine down on me, let your love shine through me in the night.

Lead me, Lord, I’ll follow, anywhere you open up the door
Let your words speak to me, show me what I’ve never seen before
Lord, I long to be your witness; you can take what’s wrong and make it right
Daystar, shine down on me; let your love shine through me in the night.

JOY IN THE JOURNEY

Shauna Hord

So many highways and biways
That would lead me astray
But my mind's made up, I'll not give up
Gonna keep on the narrow way
I'll serve the Savior forever
And I'll make his praises known
For there is joy in this journey
To my Heavenly home.

There is joy in the journey
For the Lord is on our side
Joy in the journey
I've got Heaven on my mind
Now this road I travel
Will lead me safely on
There is joy in the journey
To my Heavenly home

I'm glad that Jesus leads us
And His Spirit is our guide
And it won't be long till we're singing songs
Over on the other side
No looking behind me, for I see
What is waiting down the road
There is joy in the journey
And I'll soon be going home

There is joy in the journey
For the Lord is on our side
Joy in the journey
I've got Heaven on my mind
Now this road I travel
Will lead me safely on
There is joy in the journey
To my Heavenly home

'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

 Louisa M. R. Stead

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
 Just to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord!”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life and rest, and joy and peace.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er;
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.

GOD BUILDS CHURCHES WITH BROKEN PEOPLE

Mark Bishop

Searching through the ashes of the person that I was
When devastation came, I found my strength was not enough
A light stood shining on a hill, through tears my eyes could see
Upon the path I saw that there were others just like me
Broken vessels, just like me

Oh, but God builds churches with broken people
With hurting people, with searching people
And somehow these imperfect people
Find strength to make it through
And the broken become brand new

They have come from everywhere, from every walk of life
Each one beneath the traveler’s load of pain or guilt or strife
They have come to see His face and in His light they bow
With shattered dreams and broken hearts, yet with His hands, somehow
With loving hands somehow

God builds churches with broken people
With hurting people, with searching people
And somehow these imperfect people
Find strength to make it through
And the broken become brand new

GOD WILL HEAR YOUR PRAYER

Rodney Griffin and Wayne Haun

If He cares enough to send the rain
To the tiny seeds below
And brings forth the rays of sunlight
To sustain them as they grow
If He loves to hear the wind sing
And watch the sparrows fill the air
I know God will hear your prayer

God will hear your prayer
Though at times you feel forsaken
And it seems no one it there
Keep trusting and believing
That your burden He will bear
God will hear your prayer
I know God will hear your prayer

He heard the praying thief that day
From the cross He hung beside
Though suffering such agony,
He gave Him paradise
Then He heard your cry and saved you
Just to show how much He cares
Surely, God will hear your prayer

God will hear your prayer
Though at times you feel forsaken
And it seems no one it there
Keep trusting and believing
That your burden He will bear
God will hear your prayer
I know God will hear your prayer

MY DESIRE

Jeremy Camp

You want to be real
You want to be emptied inside
You want to be someone laying down your pride
You want to be someone someday
Then lay it all down before the King

You want to be whole
You want to have purpose inside
You want to have virtue and purify your mind
You want to be set free today
Then lay it all down before the King

This is my desire
This is my return
This is my desire
To be used by you

You want to be real
You want to be emptied inside
And I know my heart is to feel you near
And I know my life
Is to do your will
Is to do your will

This is my desire
This is my return
This is my desire
To be used by you

All my life I have seen where you've taken me
Beyond all I have hoped, and there's more left unseen
There's not much I can do to repay all You've done
So I give my hands to use

This is my desire
This is my return
This is my desire To be used by you

HELP IS ON THE WAY

Squire Parsons

To the weary, weary traveler walkin' down life's road
To the one who's heavy laden tryin' to bear the load
To the soldier who's been wounded in the battle for the Lord
Lift up the blood stain banner and don't lay down the sword

Hold on a little longer, help is on the way
Hold on a little longer, you'll find strength today
Walk on a little farther, His holy Word obey
Hold on a little longer for help is on the way

Any moment you're gonna look up and see through your tears
Any second you're gonna realize there's a holy presence near
And you'll witness all the strongholds of the enemy fall down
Hold on a little longer, soon you'll hear sweet victory's sound

Hold on a little longer, help is on the way
Hold on a little longer, you'll find strength today
Walk on a little farther, His holy Word obey
Hold on a little longer for help is on the way

ON A JOURNEY

 Joe DiQuattro

We are on a journey, destination Heaven,
Every step brings us closer home;
We're gonna keep our eyes on Jesus,
Knowing that He'll lead us
To that land where streets are purest gold.

Walking together towards Heaven
Talking and singing about Heaven.
Brothers and sisters,
Members of the family of God.
I can't wait to leave here;
Don't you want to be there
When the saints all go marching in?
Some from every nation,
What a celebration!
Hand in hand together with the Lord.

Those who've gone before us,
With the Lord will greet us
As we walk through the gates of pearl.
We will bow our knees before Him,
We're gonna worship and adore Him;
It's the church forever with the Lord.

Walking together, forever.
Talking and singing around Heaven.
Brothers and sisters,
Members of the family of God.
I can't wait to meet Him,
Don't you want to be there
When the saints all go marching in?
Some from every nation,
What a celebration!
Hand in hand together with the Lord.

WHEN HE SPOKE TO ME

Joel Lindsey and Jeff Silvey

She thought He was the gardener
When she met Him on the road.
She had gone to see the tomb where Jesus laid.
But when she heard the Stranger speak,
"Mary, I'm the One you seek",
She ran to the disciples
And through her tears they heard her say:

When He spoke to me I knew it was the Savior.
When He spoke to me, He called me by my name.
The stone that sealed my heart with fear rolled suddenly away.
For when JESUS spoke, I knew I'd never be the same.

For years I walked without Him,
Living only for myself.
And that only led me to pain and misery.
Then in my heart, I heard Him say,
"Child, there is a better way."
So I knelt down at His feet
And felt His mercy cover me.

When He spoke to me I knew it was the Savior.
When He spoke to me, He called me by my name.
The stone that sealed my heart with fear rolled suddenly away.
For when JESUS spoke, I knew I'd never be the same.

SUNSHINE IN MY SOUL

Eliza E. Hewitt

There is sunshine in my soul today,
More glorious and bright
Than glows in any earthly sky,
For Jesus is my Light.

O there’s sunshine, blessed sunshine,
When the peaceful, happy moments roll;
When Jesus shows His smiling face,
There is sunshine in the soul.

There is music in my soul today,
A carol to my King,
And Jesus, listening, can hear
The songs I cannot sing.

O there’s sunshine, blessed sunshine,
When the peaceful, happy moments roll;
When Jesus shows His smiling face,
There is sunshine in the soul.

There is springtime in my soul today,
For, when the Lord is near,
The dove of peace sings in my heart,
The flowers of grace appear.

O there’s sunshine, blessed sunshine,
When the peaceful, happy moments roll;
When Jesus shows His smiling face,
There is sunshine in the soul.

There is gladness in my soul today,
And hope and praise and love,
For blessings which He gives me now,
For joys “laid up” above.

I'M LOSING MY MIND

Author Unknown

I was runnin' into walls, wondering where I went wrong
Headed for a fall, and flirtin' with the world too long
When love turned the tide, what was wrong has now turned out right
Everything is changed around
Things are looking different now

I'm losin' my mind, putting on the mind of Christ
I'm out of control, lettin' Jesus run my life
I'm goin' crazy, head over heels in love with Him
Since the old man died, I'm happy to find I'm losin' my mind

My head is in the clouds, thinkin' 'bout things above
But my feet are on the ground, walkin' in the Father's love
When I don't understand, I surrender to the Master's plan
My thinking has been re-arranged
I'm a receiver of the great exchange

I'm losin' my mind, putting on the mind of Christ
I'm out of control, lettin' Jesus run my life
I'm goin' crazy, head over heels in love with Him
Since the old man died, I'm happy to find I'm losin' my mind

IT'S GONNA TAKE SURRENDER

 Chris Key and Michael Peters

Here you are again in this familiar place,
Wrestling the same struggles you've already faced.
The darkness all around you just keeps closing in,
Living your own way has let you down again.
There's nothing left to say or left to do;
You wonder what it's gonna take to pull you through.

It's gonna take surrender;
It's gonna take letting go.
It's gonna take throwing up your hands,
And letting God have control.
It's gonna take His mercy;
It's gonna take your faith.
It's gonna take falling on your knees
And God's amazing grace.
If we're ever gonna reach that home of splendor,
It's gonna take surrender.

Life has become so fast-paced these days,
Pursuing wealth and earthly gain keeps us in a race.
Broken hearts and homes are nothing rare it seems,
And living for the moment is now the common theme.
Today is the day to seek the truth.
This is what it's gonna take for me and you.

It's gonna take surrender;
It's gonna take letting go.
It's gonna take throwing up your hands,
And letting God have control.
It's gonna take His mercy;
It's gonna take your faith.
It's gonna take falling on your knees
And God's amazing grace.
If we're ever gonna reach that home of splendor,
It's gonna take surrender.

WHEN HE SAVED ME

I don’t believe He’s sitting up in Heaven
Evaluating sinners by their scars
But I see Him excited to forgive us
And it’s not at all in spite of who we are

When He saved me He knew
What I had done, what I would do
He looked beyond the worst in me
And saw not what I was, He saw what I could be

He looked at all the broken scattered pieces
And made a brand new vessel of my life
Every day possibility increases
‘Cause he placed me in a dream that never dies

When He saved me He knew
What I had done, what I would do
He looked beyond the worst in me
And saw not what I was, He saw what I could be

And though I was a sinner, the Savior heard my cry
His mercy came and rescued me, He did not pass me by

When He saved me He knew
What I had done, what I would do
He looked beyond the worst in me
And saw not what I was, He saw what I could be

WHEN HE SAID, "LIVE"

Hannah Smith

When I was wounded lying on the ground
With the blood of my transgressions
No hope of ever being found
The Lord passed by, saw me about to die
With compassion in his voice
He spoke and I had to rise

When He said live, I had to breathe
When He said dance, I felt heaven's melody
When He said sing, I heard redemption song
And He gave me the faith to carry on
When He said live

When you were dying, lying all alone
Beaten and battered from a harsh and cruel world
The Lord passed by with love in his eyes
He had mercy and forgiveness
And His Word couldn't be denied.

When He says live, you have to breathe
When He says dance, you feel heaven's melody
When He says sing, you hear redemption song
And He gives you the faith to carry on
When He says live

Oh..My soul cried out for life and a Saviour
Yeah... He found me and saved me with just one word

When He said live, I had to breathe
When He said dance, I felt heaven's melody
When He said sing, I heard redemption song
And He gave me the faith to carry on
When He said live

GUILTY OF LOVE

Author Unknown

Judas led the soldiers to the garden where He prayed
Jesus was arrested by the ones He came to save
Swords and clubs and angry words were coming from all sides
Jesus only saw the broken hearts of his accusers that night

He was guilty of compassion
For the lonely and the weak
Guilty of forgiving
And setting prisoners free
Guilty of believing
The highest price was not too much
But most of all
The sinless lamb of God
Was guilty of love

Pilate said of Jesus, “I find no fault in this man”
Still the crowd said, “Crucify!” and would not understand
Pilate washed his hands, and then he set Barabbas free
Jesus was their only hope,

But they were too hard-hearted to see

He was guilty of compassion
For the lonely and the weak
Guilty of forgiving
And setting prisoners free
Guilty of believing
The highest price was not too much
But most of all
The sinless lamb of God
Was guilty of love

Love that sees the best inside the worst of us
Love that did what no one would have done
He paid with his own blood

Oh, what love

He was guilty of compassion
For the lonely and the weak
Guilty of forgiving
And setting prisoners free
Guilty of believing
The highest price was not too much
But most of all
The sinless lamb of God
Was guilty of love

HEAVEN'S HERO

Rodney Griffin

He traded a palace for a stable to be born
Removed a royal diadem to receive a crown of thorns
Exchanged the praises of angels
For the mockery of men
This is Heaven's Hero
My Savior, Lord and Friend

Heaven's Hero I will follow
He is the Captain of the free
He will champion my tomorrow
Heaven's Hero is all I'll ever need

He is the one Christ
The one and only Way
And He paid the one price for a debt I could not pay
He's the one in the present
The Ending and the Start
The One the only Hero is the Hero of my heart

Heaven's Hero I will follow
He is the Captain of the free
He will champion my tomorrow
Heaven's Hero is all I'll ever need

He is higher than the highest,
Greater than the Great
No one will ever take His crown away
He's more mighty than the mightiest
He reigns from above
He's the all-time, undisputed, undefeated Champion
The all-time, undisputed, undefeated Champion

He will champion my tomorrow
Heaven's Hero, Heaven's Hero
Heaven's Hero is all I'll ever need
He's all I need

IN MY ARMS

Your baby blues so full of wonder
Your curly cues, your contagious smile
And as I watch you start to grow up
All I can do is hold you tight

Knowing clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Story books are full of fairy tales
Of kings and queens and the bluest skies
My heart is torn just in knowing
You'll someday see the truth from lies

Knowing clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

Castles--they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone
Because I will always
Always love you

Clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash all around
But you will be safe in my arms

THE SECRET PLACE

 Author Unknown

My heart is like a house
One day I let the Savior in
There are many rooms
Where we would visit now and then
But then one day He saw that door
I knew the day had come too soon
I said, “Jesus, I’m not ready
For us to visit in that room

‘Cause that’s a place in my heart
Where even I don’t go
I have some things hidden there
I don’t want no one to know”
But He handed me the key
With tears of love on His face
He said, “I want to make you clean
Let me go in your secret place.”

So I opened up the door
And as the two of us walked in
I was so ashamed
His light revealed my hidden sin
But when I think about that room now
I’m not afraid any more
‘Cause I know my hidden sin
No longer hides behind that door

That was a place in my heart
Where even I wouldn’t go
I had some things hidden there
I didn’t want no one to know
But He handed me the key
With tears of love on His face
And He made me clean
I let Him in my secret place

Is there a place in your heart
Where even you won’t go?

EAST TO WEST

Author Unknown

Here I am, Lord, and I'm drowning
In your sea of forgetfulness
The chains of yesterday surround me
I yearn for peace and rest
I don't want to end up where you found me
And it echoes in my mind
Keeps me awake tonight

I know you've cast my sins as far
As the East is from the West
And I stand before you now
As though I've never sinned but today
I feel like I'm just one mistake away
From you leaving me this way

Jesus, can you show me
Just how far the East is from the West
Cause I can't bear to see the man I've been
Come rising up in me again
In the arms of your mercy I find rest
Cause you know just how far the East is from the West
From one scarred hand to the other

I start the day the war begins
Endless reminding of my sin
Time and time again
Your Truth is drowned out by the storm I'm in
Today I feel like I'm just one mistake away
From you leaving me this way

Jesus, can you show me
Just how far the East is from the West
Cause I can't bear to see the man I've been
Come rising up in me again
In the arms of your mercy I find rest
Cause you know just how far the East is from the West
From one scarred hand to the other

I know You've washed me white
Turned my darkness into light
I need Your peace to get me through
To get me through this night
I can't live by what I feel
But by the truth Your Word reveals
I'm not holding on to You
But You're holding on to me
You're holding on to me

Jesus, You know just how far
The East is from the West
I don't have to see the man I've been
Come rising up in me again
In the arms of Your mercy I find rest
(The arms of Your mercy I find rest)
Cause You know just how far the East is from the West
From one scarred hand to the other

THERE IS A RIVER

David Sapp and Max Sapp

There came a fount from Heaven
It was like a mighty rushing wind
It filled their hearts with singing
And it gave them peace within
The prophet gave this promise
"The Spirit will descend
And from your inner being
A river with no end."

There is a river, and it flows from deep within
There is a fountain, that frees the soul from sin
Come to this water; there is a vast supply
There is a river, that never shall run dry.

There was a thirsty woman,
Who was drawing from a well
You see her life was ruined and wasted
And her soul was bound for hell
Oh but then she met the Master
And He told about her sin
And He said “If you drink this water,
You'll never thirst again.'

There is a river, and it flows from deep within
There is a fountain, that frees the soul from sin
Come to this water; there is a vast supply
There is a river, that never shall run dry.

JUST A LITTLE TALK WITH JESUS

Clevant Derricks

I once was lost in sin, but Jesus took me in
And then a little light from heaven filled my soul
It bathed my heart in love and wrote my name above
And just a little talk with Jesus made me whole

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
He will answer by and by
Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning
Then you'll know a little fire is burning
And you will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right

Sometimes my path seems drear without a ray of cheer
And then a cloud of doubt may hide the light of day
The mists of sin may rise and hide the starry skies
But just a little talk with Jesus clears the way

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
He will answer by and by
Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning
Then you'll know a little fire is burning
And you will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right

I may have doubts and fears, my eyes be filled with tears
But Jesus is a friend who watches day and night
I go to Him in prayer, He knows my every care
And just a little talk with Jesus makes it right

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
He will answer by and by
Now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning
Then you'll know a little fire is burning
And you will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right

WHEREVER YOU ARE

Joyce Martin McCullough, Harrie McCullough, and Joel Lindsey

Are you standing at a crossroad
Wondering which road you should take?
And you're dreading the decision
And a possible mistake?
But the will of God won't lead you
Where the grace of God can't keep you.
You will never be out of His care;
Remember that the Lord's already there

Wherever you are,
Wherever you're going,
God is right there beside you
Seeing and knowing.
Wherever you go,
He already knows
What lies ahead and what's behind.
You'll always find He's never too far
From wherever you are.

You are waiting to hear thunder
And see lightning in the sky,
Oh, but God can work His wonders
Through a still small voice inside.
So keep listening and learning,
And continue on your journey,
Following the One who is the Way.
He's the only road you need to take.

Wherever you are,
Wherever you're going,
God is right there beside you
Seeing and knowing.
Wherever you go,
He already knows
What lies ahead and what's behind.
You'll always find He's never too far
From wherever you are.

WE'RE NOT GONNA BOW

Kenna Turner West

In the days of old, three men were told
To bow before another
But they were bold and faith took hold
They said "We won't bow to any other but the Lord"
They said "Our God is able, to deliver us somehow
But even if He doesn't we won't bow"

It was a test of faith, a trial by fire
In life or death but one desire
"Do what you will but know this now
No way, no how... we're not gonna bow"

The king with ire said "Make a fire
Hotter then it's ever been"
And as a reprimand at his command
The soldiers threw them in
But they weren't afraid
And when the king looked in he saw
The men no longer bound
He saw four men walking around

It was a test of faith, a trial by fire
In life or death but one desire
"Do what you will but know this now
No way, no how... we're not gonna bow"

Help me take my stand, let me do what's right
Let my faith be strong, and my walk upright
The heat is on and the flames are high....

It was a test of faith, a trial by fire
In life or death but one desire
"Do what you will but know this now
No way, no how... we're not gonna bow"

WORK OF GRACE

Dianne Wilkinson

Jesus, great Creator of earth and sea and sky
Flung the planets into space and made the sun to shine
The redwood trees and mountains high bespeak His majesty
But I'm more awed by what He did for me

Jesus did a work of grace in me
He made me clean and justified
Holy in my Father's eyes
Redeemed me through His death on Calvary
Jesus did a work of grace in me

When I was at my lowest ebb, I called His name in prayer
This great God of the universe was suddenly right there
He wrapped me in His loving arms and took my sin away
He reconciled me through a work of grace

Jesus did a work of grace in me
He made me clean and justified
Holy in my Father's eyes
Redeemed me through His death on Calvary
Jesus did a work of grace in me

HE CAME TO ME

 Squire Parsons

The gulf that separated me from Christ my Lord
It was so vast, the crossing I could never ford
From where I was to His demands it seemed so far
I cried, “Dear Lord, I cannot come to where you are.”

He came to me; He came to me
When I could not come to where He was
He came to me
That’s why He died on Calvary
When I could not come to where He was
He came to me

He came to me when I was bound in chains of my sin
Oh, He came to me when I possessed no hope within
He picked me up and drew me gently to His side
Where today in His sweet love I now abide

He came to me; He came to me
When I could not come to where He was
He came to me
That’s why He died on Calvary
When I could not come to where He was
He came to me

HELP IS ON THE WAY

Matt Dibler

Satan comes to you trying to discourage
Speaking lies to you, saying, "There's no use.
You're tired and you're weary. You feel like giving up.
You've really had enough. Why don't you quit?"

You think of all he's said. You contemplate his offer.
You think of giving in and quitting the fight,
But there was someone praying, and when they had prayed through
God sent sweet peace to you.

The Spirit comes to you saying, "Child, don't you give in.
I can handle him. Just keep the faith.
And I will give you power. Ask and you'll receive
If only you'll believe God's holy Word."

Help is on the way.
Don't give up the fight.
Help is on the way,
And victory is in sight.
God's still on the throne,
And I can hear Him say,
"Child, keep holding on,
For help is on the way."

THE CROSS OF CHRIST

Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey

It's for the sinner, it's for the saint
It's for redeeming human stains
The darkest sins of fallen lost
Were claimed for good on Calvary's cross

The cross of Christ; I shall rejoice
There on that tree, grace raised its voice
My debt was paid in sacrifice by blood that stained
The cross of Christ

We were unworthy, sentenced to death
But grace has granted mercy's breath
Into our souls we've breathed it in
And found forgiveness for our sin

The cross of Christ; I shall rejoice
There on that tree, grace raised its voice
My debt was paid in sacrifice by blood that stained
The cross of Christ

IT'LL BE WORTH IT AFTER ALL

Author Unknown

We need them spirit-filled preachers
To teach us right from wrong.
We need our old-fashion seekers
Who'll pray all night long.
We need some good gospel singing
To help us go another mile.
His church will triumph
And go home in a little while.

It'll be worth it after all, child
It'll be worth it after all.
After all of these trials,
Well hear Jesus call.
It'll be worth it after all.
After all of this climbing,
It'll be worth it after all.

When you're down in that ole valley,
Prayer is all I can offer you.
When our Lord sends deliverance and
He strengthens you.
When you get up on God's mountain
And look behind you
And see me struggling
trying to make it alone,
Just lift my name up to Jesus .
Let's help each other make it home.

It'll be worth it after all, child
It'll be worth it after all.
After all of these trials,
Well hear Jesus call.
It'll be worth it after all.
After all of this climbing,
It'll be worth it after all.

JESUS, FRIEND OF SINNERS

Jesus, Friend of sinners, we have strayed so far away
We cut down people in your name
But the sword was never ours to swing
Jesus, Friend of sinners the truth's become so hard to see
The world is on their way to You
But they're tripping over me
Always looking around but never looking up
I'm so double minded
A plank-eyed saint with dirty hands and a heart divided

Oh, Jesus, Friend of sinners
Open our eyes to the world
At the end of our pointing fingers
Let our hearts be led by mercy
Help us reach with open hearts and open doors
Oh, Jesus, Friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks Yours

Jesus friend of sinners the one who's writing in the sand
Make the righteous turn away
And the stones fall from their hands
Help us to remember we are all the least of thieves
Let the memory of Your mercy bring your people to their knees
Nobody knows what we're for only what we're against
When we judge the wounded
What if we put down our signs, crossed over the lines
And love like You did

Oh, Jesus, Friend of sinners
Open our eyes to the world
At the end of our pointing fingers
Let our hearts be led by mercy
Help us reach with open hearts and open doors
Oh, Jesus, Friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks Yours

You love every lost cause; you reach for the outcast
For the leper and the lame; they're the reason that You came
Lord, I was that lost cause, and I was the outcast
But you died for sinners just like me, a grateful leper at Your feet

'Cause You are good, You are good
And Your love endures forever
You are good, You are good
And Your love endures forever

Oh, Jesus, Friend of sinners
Open our eyes to the world
At the end of our pointing fingers
Let our hearts be led by mercy
Help us reach with open hearts and open doors
Oh, Jesus, Friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks Yours

I'VE GOT THAT OLD TIME RELIGION

 Hurdist Milsap

I'm glad Jesus came, glory to His name.
Oh what a Friend is He
He so freely gave His own life to save,
From bonds of sin set free.

I've got that old time religion in my heart
Way down inside
I've got a new kind of feeling in my heart
True joy abides
Nobody knows what it means to me
Nobody knows but my Lord and me
I've got that old time religion in my heart
Way down inside

What a joy to know One who loves us so
He is so kind and true
He has changed my life from all sin and strife
He'll do the same for you.

I've got that old time religion in my heart
Way down inside
I've got a new kind of feeling in my heart
True joy abides
Nobody knows what it means to me
Nobody knows but my Lord and me
I've got that old time religion in my heart
Way down inside

Sinners, won't you now humbly to Him bow
Just let the Lord come in
You'll find perfect peace; joy will never cease
You shall the life crown win.

I've got that old time religion in my heart
Way down inside
I've got a new kind of feeling in my heart
True joy abides
Nobody knows what it means to me
Nobody knows but my Lord and me
I've got that old time religion in my heart
Way down inside

HE SAW IT ALL

Author Unknown

I was working in town one afternoon
Attending some business affairs
I heard a commotion a couple streets over
And wondered, “What’s happenin’ there”
A young man was running from in that direction
And stopped just to catch his breath
I asked him to please tell me what was the hurry
He smiled up at me and he said.

I was trying to catch the crippled man
Did he run past this way?
He was rushing home to tell everyone
What Jesus did today
And the mute man was telling myself and the deaf girl
He’s leaving to answer God’s call
It’s hard to believe but if you don’t trust me
Ask the blind man, he saw it all
Ask the blind man, he saw it all

My friend if the troubles and burdens you carry
Are heavy and dragging you down
And you’ve tried everything you can possibly think of
But there’s no relief to be found
That very same Jesus that altered the future
Of the blind man, the deaf, and the lame
Is still reaching out in your hour of trouble
One touch and you’re never the same.

You'll be trying to catch the crippled man
Did he run past this way?
He was rushing home to tell everyone
What Jesus did today
And the mute man was telling myself and the deaf girl
He’s leaving to answer God’s call
It’s hard to believe but if you don’t trust me
Ask the blind man, he saw it all
Ask the blind man, he saw it all

BOUNDLESS LOVE

Dianne Wilkenson

There is not a mother,
Sister, friend, or brother
Loves the way that Jesus can
He proved His love for me
When He died on Calvary
He gave His life for fallen man

His love (His love)
Is a boundless love
And it reaches down and touches me
His love (His love)
Is an endless love
That will last for all eternity

Jesus wants to love you,
There is none above you
You are precious in His sight
He will never fail you
When the doubts assail you
He'll be with you day and night

His love (His love)
Is a boundless love
And it reaches down and touches me
His love (His love)
Is an endless love
That will last for all eternity

WHO AM I?

Mark Hall

Who am I?
That the Lord of all the earth,
Would care to know my name,
Would care to feel my hurt.
Who am I?
That the bright and morning star,
Would choose to light the way,
For my ever wandering heart.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.

Who am I?
That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
And watch me rise again.
Who am I?
That the voice that calmed the sea,
Would call out through the rain,
And calm the storm in me.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.

JESUS HOLDS YOUR HAND

David Ponder, Michael Sykes, Suzanne Jennings

God allows the darkness to heal up the mind,
Death stood at my doorstep,
Fear had left me blind;
I couldn't see my future,
'Cause night was everywhere,
I called unto the heavens,
"Is anybody there?"

Suddenly I felt it, warmth just like the sun,
Moving through my fingers,
The healing had begun;
Oh, the loving hand of Jesus
Was holding on to me,
I learned the priceless lesson
That He taught me tenderly.

Oh, Jesus holds your hand,
He takes you through the valleys
Into His promised land;
I'm living proof that Jesus cares,
He made me understand,
That life is here today
And gone tomorrow,
But Jesus holds your hand.

 If you're in the middle
Of danger dark and deep,
The clouds on your horizon
Make you want to weep;
Oh, without His cast of shadow
And all you know is true,
Risk your heart to Jesus
'Cause He is holding you.

Oh, Jesus holds your hand,
He takes you through the valleys
Into His promised land;
I'm living proof that Jesus cares,
He made me understand,
That life is here today and gone tomorrow:
But Jesus holds your hand.

I STILL NEED HIM

Mark Bishop

There’s a whisper in the autumn breeze and I can hear it say
I still need Him; I still need Him
It’s a voice that lives inside my heart, reminds me everyday
I still need Him; I still need Him

When I’m standing on the mountain, even then I realize
I still need Him; I still need Him
I may be smiling on the outside, oh but look into my eyes
I still need Him; I still need Him

Thank you Lord for saving me, and for the cross at Calvary
A sacrifice for everyone to see
In agony with every breath, yet even on the verge of death
I needed Jesus more than He needed me
When I think about my journey, and the miles still yet to go
I still need Him yes I still need Him

There are good days and there are bad days, oh but every day I find
I still need Him; I still need Him
I may not be like the lame man, may not be like the blind, but
I still need Him; I still need Him

When I’m high upon the mountain, or in the valley low
I still need Him; I still need Him
I don’t know what waits around the bend, but I know he’s in control
I still need Him; I still need Him

Thank you Lord for saving me, and for the cross at Calvary
A sacrifice for everyone to see
In agony with every breath, yet even on the verge of death
I needed Jesus more than He needed me
When I think about my journey, and the miles still yet to go
I still need Him; I still need Him
