BOLD AND UNASHAMED

David Jenkins & Amy Susan Foster

God hasn't given us a spirit of fear
It isn't happenstance that has us here
Called out, commissioned, committed and strong
Shoulder to shoulder, we're marching on

Bold and unashamed
We stand and proclaim
Jesus and His matchless name
In loss or in gain, we will remain
Bold and unashamed.

We know the enemy can't tear us down
We won't be shaken, we'll stand our ground
We are determined to defend our faith
On Jesus Christ, we stake our claim

Bold and unashamed
We stand and proclaim
Jesus and His matchless name
In loss or in gain, we will remain
Bold and unashamed.

SOMETIMES HE CALMS ME

Randy Simpson

Troubled waters came my way; angry storms drew near,
I prayed for God to speak a word to make them disappear;
It seems the waves would not obey the Master's call for peace,
Then He spoke into my soul, reminded me He had control,
And said this time His words were meant for me.

Sometimes He calms the storm, sometimes He calms me,
Sometimes the storm rages on, but I feel the sweetest peace;
It's such a joy to know that my Lord knows just what I need,
Sometimes He calms the storm, sometimes He calms me.

Circumstance may overtake and bring me to my knees,
But when I feel I cannot cope with this life's troubled seas;
I call on Him whose voice can still much greater storms than these,
His words bring peace into my soul when He says, "Child, I'm in control,"
And with one touch, He calms the storms in me.

Sometimes He calms the storm, sometimes He calms me,
Sometimes the storm rages on, but I feel the sweetest peace;
It's such a joy to know that my Lord knows just what I need,
Sometimes He calms the storm, sometimes He calms me.

I'M NOT GIVING UP

Well, I’m not giving up. No, I’m not turning 'round

By the grace of God, I’ll win a shining crown someday

I’ll keep holding on to that nail-scarred hand

I’m not giving up. No, I’ll keep going on

I’ve been walking through the valley, through this vale of tears

At times I’ve even questioned even if my Lord was near

Many times that old tempter says, "Why not turn around?

You can’t get any farther because you’re just losing ground."

Oh, but I’m not giving up. No, I’m not turning 'round

By the grace of God, I’ll win a shining crown someday

I’ll keep holding on to that nail-scarred hand

I’m not giving up. No, I’ll keep going on

Would you mind to tell me?

There’s been something bothering me

Why is that old devil, he just won’t let God’s children be?

You see he has purposed and determined to get right in the way

And turn us from the way of life and lead our souls astray

Oh, but I’m not giving up. No, I’m not turning 'round

By the grace of God, I’ll win a shining crown someday

I’ll keep holding on to that nail-scarred hand

I’m not giving up. No, I’ll keep going on

HANDS OF GRACE

Author Unknown

Reachin’ up from a manger to touch His mother’s face
Reachin’out to the children drawin’ them to love’s embrace
Holdin’ out healing to the blind man
Extending heaven’s mercy writing in the sand

Hands of grace, hands of grace
Took the nails meant to be my penalty
Hand of grace, hands of grace
It’s amazing when I see
The hands of grace reachin’ out to me

Turnin’ over tables in the holy place
Reaching to a brother drowning from a lack of faith
Bread and wine offered to those close to Him
Pickin’ up the cross and carryin’ my sin

Hands of grace, hands of grace
Took the nails meant to be my penalty
Hand of grace, hands of grace
It’s amazing when I see
The hands of grace reachin’ out to me

But the most amazing moment is when I step beyond the stars
And I finally bow before Him, see His face, touch the scars.

Hands of grace, hands of grace
Took the nails meant to be my penalty
Hand of grace, hands of grace
It’s amazing when I see
The hands of grace reachin’ out to me

I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW

Ira Stanphill

I don't know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow from its sunshine
'Cause the skies may turn to gray.
I don't worry about the future,
'Cause I know what Jesus said,
And today I'll walk beside him
For He knows what is ahead.

Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know Who holds tomorrow
And I know Who holds my hand.

I don't know about tomorrow
It may bring me poverty
But the one who feeds the sparrow
Is the one who stands by me
And the path that be my portion
May be through the flame or flood
But His presence goes before me
And I'm covered with His blood

Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know Who holds tomorrow
And I know Who holds my hand.

Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb.
Every burden is getting lighter
All the clouds are silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining
There no tears will dim the eye
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky.

Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know Who holds tomorrow
And I know Who holds my hand.

Guilty of Loving Me

Author Unknown

He was tried, convicted, and sentenced to die.
For a crime no one understood, yet they shouted, “Crucify.”
Pilate said, “One shall go free, so which man will it be?”
They cried “Jesus has to die." He was guilty of loving me.

There was no fault found in Him; there was no evil found,
Yet God’s precious holy Lamb was nailed to a tree!
If tender mercy was His only crime,
So that grace could be yours and mine,
Then Jesus was guilty of loving me.

In the halls of judgment, they thought they’d sealed his fate,
But holy destiny was calling Him to that hill far away.
Pilate said, “Behold the Man; I find no fault in Him."
If they could have just understood,
He was guilty of loving them!

There was no fault found in Him; there was no evil found,
Yet God’s precious holy Lamb was nailed to a tree!
If tender mercy was His only crime,
So that grace could be yours and mine,
Then Jesus was guilty of loving me.

DAYS OF ELIJAH

These are the days of Elijah
Declaring the Word of the Lord
And these are the days of his servant, Moses
Righteousness being restored
And though these are days of great trials
Of famine and darkness and sword
Still we are the voice in the desert
Crying, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord."

Behold He comes
Riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun
At the trumpet's call
So lift your voice
It's the year of Jubilee
For out of Zion's hill salvation comes

And these are the days of Ezekiel
The dry bones becoming as flesh
And these are the days of your servant, David
Rebuilding a temple of praise
And these are the days of the harvest
The fields are as white in your world
Still we are the laborers in your vineyard
Declaring the word of the Lord

Behold He comes
Riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun
At the trumpet's call
So lift your voice
It's the year of Jubilee
For out of Zion's hill salvation comes

There's no God like Jehovah

STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD

R. Kelso Carter

Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love's strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit's sword,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
Listening every moment to the Spirit's call
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

WHISPERED PRAYERS

Jeff Steele and Earl Galloway

SOULS IN DANGER
BODIES BROKEN
TROUBLE HERE AND
EVERYWHERE
ARMS THAT CAN'T REACH
WHERE THEY WANT TO
SOMEHOW MAKE IT
THROUGH WHISPERED PRAYERS.

WHISPERED PRAYER
RIDE THE WINGS OF
HOLY ANGELS
FROM HERE TO THERE
GOD IS LISTENING
WHEN WE SPEAK THEM..
THERE IS POWER
IN WHISPERED PRAYERS.

DARK THE MIDNIGHT
LOW THE VALLEY..
DOESN'T SEEM THAT
LIFE IS FAIR..
WHAT WE NEED IS
OUR GOD'S PRESENCE..
IT IS OURS NOW
THROUGH WHISPERED PRAYERS.

WHISPERED PRAYER
RIDE THE WINGS OF
HOLY ANGELS
FROM HERE TO THERE
GOD IS LISTENING
WHEN WE SPEAK THEM..
THERE IS POWER
IN WHISPERED PRAYERS.

WE SHALL WEAR A ROBE AND CROWN

Rex Nelon

Watch ye therefore; you know not the day
When the Lord shall call your soul away
If you're fighting, striving for the right
You shall wear a robe and crown

I'm gonna wear a crown (I'm gonna wear a crown)
I'm gonna wear a crown (I'm gonna wear a crown)
When the trumpet sounds (When that trumpet sounds)
When the trumpet sounds (When the trumpet sounds)
I'm gonna wear a crown (I'm gonna wear a crown)
Just as soon as my feet strike Zion
I'm gonna lay down my heavy burden
I'm gonna put on my robe in glory
Shout and tell the glad story
We shall wear a robe and crown

I'm gonna wear a crown (I'm gonna wear a crown)
I'm gonna wear a crown (I'm gonna wear a crown)
When the trumpet sounds (When that trumpet sounds)
When the trumpet sounds (When the trumpet sounds)
I'm gonna wear a crown (I'm gonna wear a crown)
Soon as I can see Jesus
I'm gonna tell him all about my troubles
I'm gonna put on my robe in glory
Shout and tell Him my story
We shall wear a robe and crown
