WALK THOU WITH ME

E.B. Barnes

Walk Thou with me, nor let my footsteps stray
Apart from Thee, throughout life's threatening way;
Be Thou my Guide, the Path I cannot see;
Close to Thy side, Lord, let me walk with Thee.

Dear Savior, let me trust my hand in Thine,
And let me know Thy steps are guiding mine;
Life's changing way is oft times dark to me,
I fear no ill if I may walk with Thee.

Through weary years my way hath miry been;
My bitter tears Thy pitying eye hath seen;
My fainting heart hath heard Thy voice divine;
My trembling hand asks but to rest in Thine.

Dear Savior, let me trust my hand in Thine,
And let me know Thy steps are guiding mine;
Life's changing way is oft times dark to me,
I fear no ill if I may walk with Thee.

No earthly foe can give my spirit fear;
No threatening woe can quail when Thou art near;
No tempter's snare can turn my steps aside,
For in Thy care, I'm safe whate'er betide.

Dear Savior, let me trust my hand in Thine,
And let me know Thy steps are guiding mine;
Life's changing way is oft times dark to me,
I fear no ill if I may walk with Thee.

IN MY ROBE OF WHITE

Geniece Spencer Ingold

In my robe of white, I will fly away.
To that land so fair, meet my Jesus there;
It will be so grand when I get to that land
In my robe of white, I will fly away.

First I'll hear the trumpet sound,
Then all the saints will be heaven bound
We will cross over Jordan wide,
Stop and view the other side.
There I'll see those holy hills
And my mansion He has built,
I'll be the first one in the line,
I want to see my name in the Book of Life.

In my robe of white, I will fly away.
To that land so fair, meet my Jesus there;
It will be so grand when I get to that land
In my robe of white, I will fly away.

It's gonna be a wonderful time
When I get to the other side
See my loved ones gone before,
We'll depart from them no more;
We'll be walking on streets of gold,
Surrounded by riches untold,
When I first look on Jesus' face,
I'll know I'm saved by His amazing grace.

In my robe of white, I will fly away.
To that land so fair, meet my Jesus there;
It will be so grand when I get to that land
In my robe of white, I will fly away.

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

Bart Millard

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

Surrounded by Your glory,
What will my heart feel
Will I dance for you, Jesus
Or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah,
Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When that day comes
When I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship You
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

Surrounded by Your glory,
What will my heart feel
Will I dance for you, Jesus
Or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah,
Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship you

A ROSE AMONG THE THORNS

Earnest C. Martin

While strolling through the fields of time,
There's many things to see.
But nature is the greatest site
That there could ever be.
The greatest of all to me
Is how the world was formed.
And why the roses have to live
Each day among the thorns.

One day among a world of thorns
A Rose began to grow.
It was the greatest gift of God
This world will ever know.
It was the will of God to show
That since the world was formed
There had to be a Rose to live
And die among the thorns.

Two thousand years will soon be gone
Since God looked down in love.
There in the town of Bethlehem
A Rose began to bud.
It lived to bloom until one day
Was crushed with awful frown.
And then in love from God above
Was moved to higher ground.

One day among a world of thorns
A Rose began to grow.
It was the greatest gift of God
This world will ever know.
It was the will of God to show
That since the world was formed
There had to be a Rose to live
And die among the thorns.

PAID IN FULL THROUGH JESUS, AMEN

Rodney Griffin

This world cannot accuse me of sin,
It's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
I'm a child of God, I'm the next of kin
To the One whose glory fills me within.
Still amazed at what the Lord can do;
How His touch of grace is gonna take me through
To a place of joy that will have no end,
Made possible for the born again,
And it's paid in full through Jesus, amen!

There was a woman who met with Jesus
At a well in the heat of the day
She found the water but left her bucket
To go and tell she'd found the way.
I'm sure the scoffers must have gathered
The ones who'd known her life before,
And when they told her "You're still a sinner,"
I know she shouted out the door.
She said. . .

This world cannot accuse me of sin,
It's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
I'm a child of God, I'm the next of kin
To the One whose glory fills me within.
Still amazed at what the Lord can do;
How His touch of grace is gonna take me through
To a place of joy that will have no end,
Made possible for the born again,
And it's paid in full through Jesus, amen!

Just like the woman, I needed Jesus
To come cleanse this heart of mine.
My sinful choices had separated
Me from holiness divine.
So when the doubters came and wondered
If this change in me would last,
I boldly told them, "I've been to Calv'ry,
And all my sin is in the past."
I said. . .

This world cannot accuse me of sin,
It's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
I'm a child of God, I'm the next of kin
To the One whose glory fills me within.
Still amazed at what the Lord can do;
How His touch of grace is gonna take me through
To a place of joy that will have no end,
Made possible for the born again,
And it's paid in full through Jesus, amen!

Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us

Dorothy Ann Thrupp

Savior, like a shepherd lead us,
Much we need Thy tender care;
In Thy pleasant pastures feed us,
For our use Thy folds prepare.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.

We are Thine, Thou dost befriend us,
Be the guardian of our way;
Keep Thy flock, from sin defend us,
Seek us when we go astray.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Hear, O hear us when we pray.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Hear, O hear us when we pray.

Thou hast promised to receive us,
Poor and sinful though we be;
Thou hast mercy to relieve us,
Grace to cleanse and power to free.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
We will early turn to Thee.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
We will early turn to Thee.

Early let us seek Thy favor,
Early let us do Thy will;
Blessed Lord and only Savior,
With Thy love our bosoms fill.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Thou hast loved us, love us still.
Blessed Jesus, blessed Jesus!
Thou hast loved us, love us still.

I BELONG TO THE KING

Ida Reed Smith

I belong to the King;
I'm a child of His love,
I shall dwell in His palace so fair,
For He tells of its bliss
in yon heaven above,
And His children in splendor shall share.

I belong to the King;
I'm a child of His love,
And he never forsaketh His own.
He will call me some day
to His palace above;
I shall dwell by His glorified throne.

I belong to the King,
And He loves me I know,
For His mercy and kindness so free
Are unceasingly mine wheresoever I go,
And my Refuge unfailing is He.

I belong to the King;
I'm a child of His love,
And he never forsaketh His own.
He will call me some day
to His palace above;
I shall dwell by His glorified throne.

I belong to the King,
And His promise is sure:
That we all shall be gathered at last
In His kingdom above,
By life's waters so pure,
When this life with its trials is past.

I belong to the King;
I'm a child of His love,
And he never forsaketh His own.
He will call me some day
to His palace above;
I shall dwell by His glorified throne.

THE WORD IS ALIVE

Stephen Curtis Chapman & Mark Hall

Looking out from His throne,
The Father of light and of men
Chose to make Himself known
And show us the way back to Him
Speaking wisdom and truth
Into the hearts of peasants and kings
He began to unveil
The Word that would change the course of all things

With eyes wide open,
all would see. . .

The Word is alive
And it cuts like a sword through the darkness
With a message of life to the hopeless and afraid
Breathing life into all who believe
The Word is alive
And the world and its glories will fade
But His truth, it will not pass away
It remains yesterday and forever the same
The Word is alive

Simple strokes on a page
Eternity's secrets revealed,
Carried on from age to age
It speaks truth to us even still
And as the rain falls from Heaven,
Feeds the earth before it returns
Lord, let Your Word fall on us
And bring forth the fruit You deserve

With eyes wide open,
Let us see. . .

The Word is alive
And it cuts like a sword through the darkness
With a message of life to the hopeless and afraid
Breathing life into all who believe
The Word is alive
And the world and its glories will fade
But His truth, it will not pass away
It remains yesterday and forever the same
The Word is alive

(Spoken)
The Bible was inscribed over a period
Of two thousand years
In times of war and in days of peace
By kings, physicians, tax collectors, farmers,
Fishermen, singers, and shepherds
The marvel is that a library so perfectly cohesive
Could have been produced by such a diverse crowd
Over a period of time which staggers the imagination
Jesus is its grand subject, our good is its design,
And the glory of God is its end

The Word is alive
And it cuts like a sword through the darkness
With a message of life to the hopeless and afraid
Breathing life into all who believe
The Word is alive
And the world and its glories will fade
But His truth, it will not pass away
It remains yesterday and forever the same
The Word is alive

REACH THE WORLD

Mark Bishop

It all starts with just one voice
That takes a stand, that makes a choice
To live for God and not hesitate
To tell the world about amazing grace

One day that seed somehow breaks through
Where there was one, there now stands two
And soon another takes his hand
A ray of hope that spreads across the land.

Across the mountains. Across the sea.
Soon others join in harmony.
They've found the cross still standing strong.
And soon a mighty chorus sings along.

Go reach the world, touch one more soul
Bring one more lamb back to the fold.
Each soul another flag unfurled.
Each voice another chance to reach the world.

Don't let me pray, Lord, for wealth or fame.
A spark that sets the world aflame.
But help me reach the lost and alone
To tell of joy and hope where hope was gone.

Go reach the world, touch one more soul
Bring one more lamb back to the fold.
Each soul another flag unfurled.
Each voice another chance to reach the world.
