GIVE ME GRACE THAT I WILL MAKE IT

Author Unknown

In this life my trials are many
And sometimes my feet grow weary
And it seems that I would stumble and almost fall
But the gentle hand that leads me
Is the hand that keeps me steady
Give me grace that i will make it after all

After all this life is over

And my labor here is ended
And I climb upon the mountain top so tall
Looking over in the City
That my Savior is preparing
Give me grace that I will make it after all

By myself I cannot make it

But I know He's there to help me
If to Him in earnest prayer I keep on call
Keep on trusting and believing
Are the words I hear Him whisper
Just a few more days to labor after all

After all this life is over
And my labor here is ended
And I climb upon the mountain top so tall
Looking over in the City
That my Savior is preparing
Give me grace that I will make it after all

    1. I was at work this morning at about 9:00 A.M. when my heart just began singing; In this life my trials are many. Then I decided to google the words of the song so that it would be my anthem of the day. Little did I know that this song has cheered so many hearts. Surely, this is the leading of the Holy Spirit. To God be the Glory, Great things he hath done.

  6. My God,My All,
if you don't save me,who will?
I wasn't created by the devil; I can't end up with him,
YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CREATED ME,
YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I LOVE,
    I MAY MAKE MISTAKES SOMETIMES,BUT, I LOVE YOU...FOREVER...
Give me grace that i will make IT after ALL.

  7. Praise be to the Lord God Jehovah, his son Jesus Christ and the true Holy Spirit of God who created the entire universe and all beings. The song came to me this morning in the bathroom as I was getting ready to start the day. My trials are huge, massive and so very many and I could not remember the words of the song that I used to sing in primary/high school (over 30 years ago) and I goggled and here I'm. Jesus Christ touches and reaches to his people in amazing ways. Give us strength oh Lord that we shall make it, Amen.
Thank you to the writer who was inspired to write the song through Jesus Christ our Lord for you and me.

  8. I just started singing this song and then found the words for the verse. And has it said God has given me grace to make it this far amidst all my trials and I know he will continue. I am singing with tears in my eyes as I feel the connection with God because of this song. May others continue to be blessed by this song.

  10. My mother is turning ninety in couple of weeks, and her nine children are giving her a big party and I want to sing 🎤 to her. This song came into my mind, so I goggled it and it’s perfect. God bless the writer and the singer. My soul is truly blessed.
