GIVE ME GRACE THAT I WILL MAKE IT

Author Unknown

In this life my trials are many
And sometimes my feet grow weary
And it seems that I would stumble and almost fall
But the gentle hand that leads me
Is the hand that keeps me steady
Give me grace that i will make it after all

After all this life is over

And my labor here is ended
And I climb upon the mountain top so tall
Looking over in the City
That my Savior is preparing
Give me grace that I will make it after all

By myself I cannot make it

But I know He's there to help me
If to Him in earnest prayer I keep on call
Keep on trusting and believing
Are the words I hear Him whisper
Just a few more days to labor after all

After all this life is over
And my labor here is ended
And I climb upon the mountain top so tall
Looking over in the City
That my Savior is preparing
Give me grace that I will make it after all

I AM REDEEMED

The angels were assembled before the throne
Singing songs of worship to the Lord alone
As they sang, "Holy, Holy," the heavens filled with glory
But they had to step aside when they heard a song arise
It made the Father smile to see
His child step forth and start to sing

Redeemed, I am redeemed
The greatest song this mortal tongue can sing
Redeemed, I am redeemed
I once was lost but now I'm found
His love has turned my life around
Amazing grace has saved a wretch like me
I am redeemed

The saints were all assembled there in praise
The choir was softly singing and every hand was raised
The preacher made his final plea to every heart that would believe
Then a hush fell on that place when a sinner felt His grace
The saints and angels did rejoice
When that child began to lift his voice

Redeemed, I am redeemed
The greatest song this mortal tongue can sing
Redeemed, I am redeemed
I once was lost but now I'm found
His love has turned my life around
Amazing grace has saved a wretch like me
I am redeemed

LEAD ME TO THE CROSS

Savior, I come
I quiet my soul and remember
Redemption's hill
Where Your blood was spilled
For my ransom
Everything I once held dear
I count it all as lost

Lead me to the cross
Where Your love poured out
Bring me to my knees
Lord, I lay me down
Rid me of myself
I belong to You
Lead me, lead me to the cross

You were as I,
Tempted and tried, human
The word become flesh
Bore my sin and death
Now you're risen

GENTLE SHEPHERD

William J. & Gloria Gaither

Gentle Shepherd, come and lead us,
For we need You to help us find our way.
Gentle Shepherd, come and feed us,
For we need Your strength from day to day.
There's no other we can turn to
Who can help us face another day;
Gentle Shepherd, come and lead us,
For we need You to help us find our way.

COME UNTO ME

Charles P. Jones

Hear the blessed Savior calling the oppressed,
Oh, ye heavy-laden, come to Me and rest;
Come, no longer tarry, I your load will bear,
Bring Me every burden, bring Me every care.”

Come unto Me, I will give you rest;
Take My yoke upon you, hear Me and be blest;
I am meek and lowly, come and trust My might;
Come, My yoke is easy, and My burden’s light.

Are you disappointed, wand’ring here and there,
Dragging chains of doubt and loaded down with care?
Do unholy feelings struggle in your breast?
Bring your case to Jesus—He will give you rest.

Stumbling on the mountains dark with sin and shame,
Stumbling toward the pit of hell’s consuming flame;
By the pow’rs of sin deluded and oppressed,
Hear the tender Shepherd, “Come to Me and rest.”

Have you by temptation often conquered been,
Has a sense of weakness brought distress within?
Christ will sanctify you, if you’ll claim His best;
In the Holy Spirit, He will give you rest.

Come unto Me, I will give you rest;
Take My yoke upon you, hear Me and be blest;
I am meek and lowly, come and trust My might;
Come, My yoke is easy, and My burden’s light.

YOU ARE MY HIDING PLACE/ AS THE DEER

Michael Ledner

You are my hiding place,
You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
I will trust in You.
Let the weak say I am strong in the strength of my Lord.

As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after Thee
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee

You alone are my strength my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee

You're my friend and You are my brother,
Even though you are a King.
I love you more than any other,
So much more than anything.

You alone are my strength my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee

I want You more than gold or silver,
Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy Giver,
And the apple of my eye.

You alone are my strength my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship Thee

WHEN WE ALL GET TO HEAVEN

Eliza E. Hewitt

Sing the wondrous love of Jesus,
Sing His mercy and His grace;
In the mansions bright and blessed
He’ll prepare for us a place.

When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!

While we walk the pilgrim pathway,
Clouds will overspread the sky;
But when trav’ling days are over,
Not a shadow, not a sigh.

Let us then be true and faithful,
Trusting, serving every day;
Just one glimpse of Him in glory
Will the toils of life repay.

Onward to the prize before us!
Soon His beauty we’ll behold;
Soon the pearly gates will open;
We shall tread the streets of gold.

When we all get to heaven,
What a day of rejoicing that will be!
When we all see Jesus,
We’ll sing and shout the victory!

ON MY CROSS

Author Unknown

How wide is Your love
That You would stretch Your arms
And go around the world
And why for me would a Savior's cry be heard
I don't know
Why You went where I was meant to go
I don't know
Why You love me so

Those were my nails
That was my crown
That pierced Your hands and Your brow
Those were my thorns
Those were my scorns
Those were my tears that fell down
And just as You said it would be
You did it all for me
After You counted the cost
You took my shame, my blame
On my cross

How deep is Your grace
That you could see my need
And choose to take my place
And then for me, these words I'd hear You say
"Father, no, forgive them
For they know not what they do
I will go
Because I love them so

Those were my nails
That was my crown
That pierced Your hands and Your brow
Those were my thorns
Those were my scorns
Those were my tears that fell down
And just as You said it would be
You did it all for me
After You counted the cost
You took my shame, my blame
On my cross

LORD, I BELIEVE

Author Unknown

When sorrow and storms are besetting my track,
And Satan is whispering, "You'd better turn back."
How oft I have proved it tho' dark be the way,
A little believing drives clouds all away.

Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe
Savior, raise my faith in Thee,
Till it can move a mountain;
Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe
All my doubts are buried in the fountain.

How easy when sailing the sea in a calm
To trust in the strength of Jehovah's great arm;
But somehow I find when the waves swamp the boat,
It takes some believing to keep things afloat.

"I'll stand to the end," I have heard people say,
"I'll fight till I die, and will ne'er run away;"
But when by temptation so fiercely assailed,
They left off believing, and terribly failed.

Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe
Savior, raise my faith in Thee,
Till it can move a mountain;
Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe
All my doubts are buried in the fountain.

And others there are full of courage and zeal,
Who go to the battle like warriors of steel;
But right in the heat of the conflict with sin,
Instead of believing, they faint and give in.

Then let us remember in running this race,
That faith is not feeling, and trust is not trace;
And when all around us seems dark as the night,
We'll keep on believing, and win in the fight.

Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe
Savior, raise my faith in Thee,
Till it can move a mountain;
Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe
All my doubts are buried in the fountain.
