JESUS PAID IT ALL

Elvina M. Hall

I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim;
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

And now complete in Him,
My robe, His righteousness,
Close sheltered ’neath His side,
I am divinely blest.

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy pow’r, and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

When from my dying bed
My ransomed soul shall rise,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
Shall rend the vaulted skies.

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I’ll lay my trophies down,
All down at Jesus’ feet.

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

GOD GIVES WINGS AS EAGLES

Ron Hamilton

When the race still lies before me,
And the wind is blowing strong,
When the witnesses surround me,
And my strength is almost gone;
When the valley plunges deeper,
And life shatters all my dreams,
Then I lift my voice to Jesus,
And He gives my spirit wings.

God gives wings, God gives wings as eagles;
God gives wings to fly and strength to rise above.
God gives wings, God gives wings as eagles,
When my feet begin to stumble,
And my dreams begin to crumble,
I mount up on eagles' wings.

Let us run the race with patience,
Let us lay each weight aside,
Looking only unto Jesus;
He will be our faithful Guide.
He has run the race before us;
He has won the victor's crown.
And He calls to ev'ry Christian,
"Follow me to higher ground."

God gives wings, God gives wings as eagles;
God gives wings to fly and strength to rise above.
God gives wings, God gives wings as eagles,
When my feet begin to stumble,
And my dreams begin to crumble,
I mount up on eagles' wings.

Trust and Obey

John H. Sammis

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

THE LAMB

I am not what you see
There's one stronger than me
Who can make all my mountains seem small
And I am not the one who's strong,
I can't right all my wrongs
I am nothing without His Blood

I am the reason He cried
And I am the reason He died
To The Father I am not an empty vessel of clay
I am the lamb He died to save

I am not a perfect man
And I can't understand
Why He would send His Son to die for me
And I am not free from blame
But when I call His Name
He reminds me He died to set me free

I am the reason He cried
And I am the reason He died
To The Father I am not an empty vessel of clay
I am the lamb He died to save

THE POTTER KNOWS THE CLAY

Marcia Henry and Allie Lapointe

I know you are going through the fire
It's getting hard to stand the heat
But even harder is the wondering
Is God’s hand still on me?
I'ts lonely in the flames
When you’re counting days of pain

But the Potter knows the clay
How much pressure it can take
How many times around the wheel
‘Til they're submissive to His will
He’s planned a beautiful design
But it’ll take some fire and time
It's gonna be okay
‘Cause the Potter knows the clay

Friend, I just came through that fire
Not too very long ago
And looking back I can see why
And that my God was in control
But on the hottest days I'd cry,
"Oh Lord, isn't it about time?"

But the Potter knows the clay
How much pressure it can take
How many times around the wheel
‘Til they're submissive to His will
He’s planned a beautiful design
But it’ll take some fire and time
It's gonna be okay
‘Cause the Potter knows the clay

ON THE JERICHO ROAD

Donald S. McCrossan

As you travel along on the Jericho Road
Does the world seem all wrong and heavy load?
Just bring it to Christ your sins all confess
On the Jericho Road your heart He will bless

On the Jericho Road there's room for just two
No more and no less, just Jesus and you
Each burden He'll bear, each sorrow he'll share
There's never a care for Jesus is there

On the Jericho Road blind Bartemaeus sat
His life was a void so empty and flat
But Jesus appeared one word brought him sight
On the Jericho Road Christ banished his night

On the Jericho Road there's room for just two
No more and no less, just Jesus and you
Each burden He'll bear, each sorrow he'll share
There's never a care for Jesus is there

O, my brother, to you this message I bring
Though hope may be gone He'll cause you to sing
At Jesus command sin's shackles must fall
On the Jericho Road will you answer his call?

On the Jericho Road there's room for just two
no more and no less, just Jesus and you
each burden He'll bear, each sorrow he'll share
there's never a care for Jesus is there

DO IT BY THE BOOK

David Staton

I hear people talkin' about the world today
The mess that it's in and how it got this way
But I have a book from beginning to end
How it all got started with one little sin
In the beginning was Adam and Eve
And just like today, Satan came to deceive
So if you don't want to be caught by Satan's surprise
You'd better think first and open your eyes

Take another look and see
Open up the Book and read
A little faith is all that you need
To bring the devil down to his knees
Just open the pages and talk to the Lord
Learn how to use that two-edged sword
Just take another look, do it by the Book!

I see Christians walkin' around in defeat
When Satan comes against them they're easily beat
But I've found a secret to true victory
It's when I walk by faith and not by what I see
The things that I see don't really bring me joy
They're placed here by the one
Who came to seek and destroy
So if you're not living by what's in His Word
You'd better listen to what you have heard

Take another look and see
Open up the Book and read
A little faith is all that you need
To bring the devil down to his knees
Just open the pages and talk to the Lord
Learn how to use that two-edged sword
Just take another look, do it by the Book!
