NEVER GIVE UP ON ME

Josh Bates & Michael Boggs

Time after time You've been left behind
Like the sun when it's starting to rain
Time after time You've been forgotten
Like a picture that's faded with age
Time after time You ran after me
When I was still running away

You never give up on me
No, You never give up on me
Though I'm weak, you are strong
You told me I still belong
No, You never, never give up on me

Time after time I've used Your grace
As a way to do what I please
I've taken for granted prayers that You answered
Never been all I could be
You are holding out Your hands
And now I clearly see

You never give up on me
No, You never give up on me
Though I'm weak, you are strong
You told me I still belong
No, You never, never give up on me

You always erase all my mistakes
You lift me up when I'm down
Through all the ages, Your love never changes
You welcome me just as I am

You never give up on me
No, You never give up on me
Though I'm weak, you are strong
You told me I still belong
No, You never, never give up on me

I START MY DAY

Kirk Talley

I start my day with a prayer of thanksgiving
I start my day with a prayer filled with praise
Let me tell you I have learned the joy of living
And it’s based upon the way I start my day

People ask me, "Why are you so happy?"
Some have even asked what kind of pill I take
Well, let me tell you I am high on life with Jesus
And it’s all because of how I start my day

I start my day with a prayer of thanksgiving
I start my day with a prayer filled with praise
Let me tell you I have learned the joy of living
And it’s based upon the way I start my day

You may wonder why you always feel defeated
Why the good times seem to never roll your way
I’m not saying that your life will be perfect
But I’m saying good things happen when we pray

There are those who only ask the Lord for mercy
There are those who pray for miracles each day
Well, one day I came up begging for forgiveness
Now I thank Him for the good things when I pray

I start my day with a prayer of thanksgiving
I start my day with a prayer filled with praise
Let me tell you I have learned the joy of living
And it’s based upon the way I start my day

THE GREATEST GIFT

Ron Hamilton

If I search through the pages of history
Look through the halls of time
Seeking for the greatest gift of all
A gift to all mankind
I would stop at a manger in Bethlehem
Bow in wonder there
See a tiny present wrapped in love
A gift beyond compare

Oh, the greatest gift
Oh, the greatest gift of all
Sent from a loving Father
In the form of a child so small
All the wealth of Heaven's splendor
Wrapped up in a child so tender
Oh, the greatest gift in all the world is Jesus.

If I look for the gift that reigns supreme
Above the hills of time
A gift to fulfill each prophets dream
The highest gift sublime
If I ask every angel in Paradise
"Where can it be found?"
Heaven's mighty host would start to swell
Till earth and sky resound

Oh, the greatest gift
Oh, the greatest gift of all
Sent from a loving Father
In the form of a child so small
All the wealth of Heaven's splendor
Wrapped up in a child so tender
Oh, the greatest gift in all the world is Jesus.

WHERE THE ROSES NEVER FADE

Robert and Janie West Metzgar

I am going to a city,
Where the streets with gold are laid;
Where the tree of life is blooming
And the roses never fade.

Here they bloom but for a season
Soon their beauty is decayed.
I am going to a city,
Where the roses never fade

In this world we have our troubles,
Satan snares we must evade.
We'll be free from all temptations;
Where the roses never fade.

Here they bloom but for a season
Soon their beauty is decayed.
I am going to a city,
Where the roses never fade.

Loved ones gone to be with Jesus,
In their robes of white arrayed;
Now are waiting for my coming,
Where the roses never fade.

Here they bloom but for a season
Soon their beauty is decayed.
I am going to a city,
Where the roses never fade.

I've Been to the Bottom

Rodney Griffin

In sorrow I was sinking
Had all but stopped believing
Anyone would hear my call
Lost everything I treasured
Grief was beyond measure
I wondered how far I'd fall
In my desperation
I called upon my Savior
"Lead me to some solid ground."
Then, underneath the rubble
Of all my pain and trouble
You'll never believe what I found

Well, I've been to the bottom
And I've found at the bottom
There's a blessed Holy Rock
A place for us to stand
Away from sinking sand
Safe in the hand of God
A foundation that is sure
And ever will endure
To comfort the hurting heart
Well, I've been to the bottom
And I've found at the bottom
There's a blessed Holy Rock

Well, if you're world is crumbling
Don't know what is coming
You spend you days 'a wonderin' why
Everything around you
Seems to work against you
You question, "Will it ever stop?"
Friend, I've seen the bottom
I know just where you're headin'
It's not where you think
Believe me when I tell you
That God is gonna bless you
Way beyond your dreams

Well, I've been to the bottom
And I've found at the bottom
There's a blessed Holy Rock
A place for us to stand
Away from sinking sand
Safe in the hand of God
A foundation that is sure
And ever will endure
To comfort the hurting heart
Well, I've been to the bottom
And I've found at the bottom
There's a blessed Holy Rock

HEAVENLY SUNRISE

Nathan Widener & Steve Wood

As I wake up in the morning
As I look across the sky
This could be a brand new dawning
When I bid this world goodbye

Heavenly sunrise, some glorious morning
When our Lord takes us home
What a great celebration
One like we've never known

I have read in my Bible
How my Savior will appear
He's gonna come on
Great clouds of glory
And that day is getting near

Heavenly sunrise, some glorious morning
When our Lord takes us home
What a great celebration
One like we've never known

SHARE IT WITH JESUS

Joe Diquattro

Share it with Jesus
He always listens
There is no heartache
That He cannot mend
Pour out your feelings
And He'll pour in healing
Just bring your burden
And share it with Jesus

There are so many things
Locked up inside of us
Things that are hard to face
And much harder to tell someone
But Jesus knows our fears
And He understands each tear
He's waiting patiently
And He will set us free

Share it with Jesus
He always listens
There is no heartache
That He cannot mend
Pour out your feelings
And He'll pour in healing
Just bring your burden
And share it with Jesus

HE WROTE MY NAME

O. S. Davis

The blessed Savior wrote my name
When I was born again,
He wrote it when He saved my soul;
He wrote that I had made aright
My ev'ry sinful wrong,
He wrote my name on heaven's roll.

He wrote my name way up in glory,
He saved my soul from sin and shame.
I never shall forget the day
The blessed Savior wrote my name.

I'll be no stranger when I reach
My home in glory land,
My name is in the Book of Life;
The blessed Savior wrote it when
He saved my soul from sin,
He saved my soul from sin and strife.

He wrote my name way up in glory,
He saved my soul from sin and shame.
I never shall forget the day
The blessed Savior wrote my name.

If I should live a thousand years
Upon this earth below,
I never could forget the day;
That Jesus wrote my name within
The blessed Book of Life,
And took my many sins away.

He wrote my name way up in glory,
He saved my soul from sin and shame.
I never shall forget the day
The blessed Savior wrote my name.

IT WON'T RAIN ALWAYS

Gloria Gaither / Bill Gaither / Aaron Wilburn

Someone said that in this life
Some rain is bound to fall
And each one sheds his share of tears
And trouble troubles us all
But the hurt won't hurt forever
And the tears are sure to dry

And it won't rain always
The clouds will soon be gone
The sun that they've been hiding
Has been there all along
And it won't rain always
God's promises are true
The sun's gonna shine
In His own good time
And He will see you through

I JUST CAME TO TALK WITH YOU, LORD

Dottie Rambo

I didn't come here to ask You for anything
I just came to talk with You, Lord
You've answered a million prayers or more,
That I forgot to thank You for
I just came to talk with You Lord.

Maybe tomorrow there'll be trouble and sorrow
And a thousand teardrops may fall
But until I face tomorrow's task
I have no special favor to ask
I just came to talk with You, Lord

How many times, Lord
Have troubles brought me down to my knees
Oh, but I just came to talk with You Lord
You see, I have no selfish motive in mind
I just want to thank You for all the other times
I just came to talk with You Lord

Maybe tomorrow there'll be trouble and sorrow
And a thousand teardrops may fall
But until I face tomorrow's task
I have no special favor to ask
I just came to talk with You, Lord

YOU CAN

Rodney Griffin

Sometimes I get caught up in wondering
Just when my stormy circumstance will end
Forgetting that the hand that I am holding
Is the precious hand of my all-knowing Friend
Who sees beyond the veil that I am facing
Past the unknown mysteries to come
Though I admit I can't see where I'm heading
I'm holding to the only One Who does

Lord, You can explain all the wonders
And You can erase all the fear
You can dispel all the darkness
See a new day that's dawning just a few miles from here
When I can't see a purpose or plan,
Lord, You can!

Lord, I forget that You're not limited to vision
These earthly eyes can only see so far
And I need to be reminded of my mission
To help others find the way to where You are
Not to focus on the troubles that surround me
Or on hard circumstances I may face
But to see it all as what You're working through me
Pieces of a willing plan You've put in place

You can explain all the wonders
And You can erase all the fear
You can dispel all the darkness,
See a new day that's dawning just a few miles from here
When I can't see a purpose or plan,
Lord, You can!

WONDERFUL PEACE

Warren Cornell & George Cooper

Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm
In celestial like strains it unceasingly falls
O'er my soul like an infinite calm

Peace, peace, wonderful peace
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!

What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace
Buried deep in the heart of my soul
So secure that no power can mine it away
While the years of eternity roll!

I am resting tonight in this wonderful peace
Resting sweetly in Jesus' control
For I'm kept from all danger by night and by day
And His glory is flooding my soul!

Peace, peace, wonderful peace
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!

And I think when I rise to that city of peace
Where the Author of peace I shall see
That one strain of the song which the ransomed will sing
In that heavenly kingdom will be

Ah, soul! are you here without comfort and rest
Marching down the rough pathway of time?
Make Jesus your Friend ere the shadows grow dark
O accept of this sweet peace so sublime!

Peace, peace, wonderful peace
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!

THE UNSEEN HAND

Albert Jackson Sims

There is an unseen hand to me
That leads through ways I can not see
While going through this world of woe
This hand still leads me as I go

I’m trusting to the unseen hand
That guides me through this weary land
And some sweet day I’ll reach that strand
Still guided by the unseen hand

This hand has led through shadows drear
And while it leads I have no fear
I know 'twill lead me to that home
Where sin nor sorrow e're can come
I’m trusting to the unseen hand
That guides me through this weary land
And some sweet day I’ll reach that strand
Still guided by the unseen hand
I long to see my Savior’s face
And sing the story I’ve been saved by grace
And there upon that golden strand
I’ll praise Him for His guiding hand

I’m trusting to the unseen hand
That guides me through this weary land
And some sweet day I’ll reach that strand
Still guided by the unseen hand

TEARS ARE A LANGUAGE GOD UNDERSTANDS

Gordon Jensen

Often you’ve wondered why tears come into your eyes
And burdens seem to be much more than you can stand.
But God is standing near, He sees your falling tears.
Tears are a language God understands.

God sees the tears of a broken-hearted soul.
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall.
God weeps along with man and takes him by the hand
Tears are a language God understands.

When grief has left you low, it causes tears to flow.
When things have not turned out the way that you had planned.
But God won’t forget you, His promises are true.
Tears are a language God understands.

God sees the tears of a broken-hearted soul.
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall.
God weeps along with man and takes him by the hand
Tears are a language God understands.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Wes Tuttle

I believe that God is sovereign over all
And He alone is worthy of our praise
Father, Spirit, Son – the Holy Three in One
He reigns no matter what the world may say
Surely time has come for us to take a stand
To hold to our convictions without shame
Opposers to the faith abound on every hand
But the Gospel must be fearlessly proclaimed

I believe that Jesus is the Holy Son of God
He came to earth to live a perfect life
I believe He bled and died upon a cruel cross
And there He made the greatest sacrifice
I believe He rose again and that He lives today
And soon He’s coming back to earth again
More than just a creed; this is what I believe
Jesus is the only way
This is my Statement of Faith

I believe the Bible is the Word of God
Given to the world to show the way
No room for compromise
All its trustworthiness
Is here for us to follow and obey
There are absolutes that cannot be denied
And what is true forever shall remain
I made my choice to live for Christ the Crucified
The Living One who is the only way.

(Recitation)
I believe there is one true God and that Jesus Christ is His Holy Son. That He is the living Word and that by Him and through Him all things were made. I believe that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and brought the dead back to life.
I believe in the Cross that Jesus, God’s sacrificial Lamb, shedding His blood, was crucified as atonement for the sins of all the world and whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
I believe in the Resurrection - that on the third day He rose from the tomb conquering death, hell, and the grave, and today He sits at the right hand of the Father and that because He lives, we shall live also.
I believe in the Church, a harbor for souls where God is glorified, saints are edified, grace is multiplied, and mercy is magnified.
I believe in the Holy Spirit who lives within all who are saved by grace through faith. He is our Comforter, our Friend, our Guide.
And I believe that one day Jesus will come again to claim His own and prove once and for all that He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

I believe He rose again and that He lives today
And soon He’s coming back to earth again
More than just a creed; this is what I believe
Jesus is the only way
This is my Statement of Faith
This is my Statement of Faith

IN CHRIST ALONE

Brian Littrell

In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I've been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes
Like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal
To the grace by which I stand

In Christ alone I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory let it be said of me
My source of strength, my source of hope
Is Christ alone

In Christ alone will I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
And only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor
Than just to know Him more
And to count my gains
But losses to the glory of my Lord

In Christ alone I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of cross
In every victory, let it be said of me
My source of strength, my source of hope
Is Christ alone.

WE BELIEVE

Nathan DiGesare and Dan Scott

I believe in the Father who created all that is
And I believe the universe and all therein is His
As a loving Heavenly Father, He yearned to save us all
To lift us from the fall….I believe.

I believe in Jesus, the Father’s only Son
Existing uncreated before time had begun
A sacrifice for sin, He died then rose again
To ransom sinful men…I believe.

I believe in the Spirit who makes believers one
My heart is filled with His presence
The Comforter has come
The kingdom unfolds in His plan
Unhindered by quarrels of man
His church upheld by His hand…I believe.

Though the earth be removed
And time be no more
These truths are secure
God’s word shall endure
Whatever may change, these things are sure…
We believe.

So if the mountains are cast down into the plains
When kingdoms all crumble, this one remains
Our faith is not subject to seasons of man
With our fathers we proclaim
We believe our Lord will come as He said
The land and the sea will give up their dead
His children will reign with Him as their head
We believe.

We believe in the Father and all He has done
We believe in Jesus, his one and only Son
And we believe in the Spirit who makes believers one
We believe

GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU

Civilla D. Martin

Be not dismayed whate'er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.

Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
Through every day, o'er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you.

No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
God will take care of you.

God will take care of you,
Through every day, o'er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

LORD, DO IT AGAIN

Squire E. Parsons, Jr.

Oh, Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
Friend of Moses and the Great I Am
The One who shut the door for Noah
On the ark so the water wouldn’t come in
The One who delivered from Egypt’s bondage
And led His children to the promised land
Oh, Lord, Oh, Lord,
Oh Lord, do it again.

As the fire fell down
When old Elijah was calling
In the wilderness when the bread from heaven came falling
I’ve even heard about what You did for Jonah
When he didn’t go where he should have been
Oh, Lord, Oh, Lord,
Oh, Lord, do it again

Oh Lord, You are the same great Jehovah
Protecting, shielding, guiding light
The one who made the donkey preach
To the preacher man when he didn’t preach right
The One who commanded the sun to stand still
For brother Joshua and his faithful men
Oh, Lord, Oh, Lord,
Oh, Lord do it again.

As the fire fell down
When old Elijah was calling
In the wilderness when the bread from heaven came falling
I’ve even heard about what You did for Jonah
When he didn’t go where he should have been
Oh, Lord, Oh, Lord,
Oh, Lord, do it again

STAND

Jim Brady

Some will say it’s foolish
Some that it’s absurd
But still we choose to build our lives
Upon God’s holy Word
We know It’s always perfect
We trust It in all things
It’s holy and It’s right
So whatever this life brings

We stand on what is timeless
We stand on what is true
We stand up unashamed
No matter what the world may do
We stand upon this Rock
Spoken by the Lord of all
And though other lives built on sand may fall
We stand

It may not be in fashion
It may not be in vogue
But when we look at empty lives
All around we know
We could live pursuing power
Thinking pleasure satisfies
God’s light cuts through the shadows
Revealing they’re just lies

We stand on what is timeless
We stand on what is true
We stand up unashamed
No matter what the world may do
We stand upon this Rock
Spoken by the Lord of all
And though other lives built on sand may fall
We stand

Let us trust His every word
Resisting every wrong
Let us read It and believe It
It’s our only hope for standing strong

We stand on what is timeless
We stand on what is true
We stand up unashamed
No matter what the world may do
We stand upon this Rock
Spoken by the Lord of all
And though other lives built on sand may fall
We stand

THE HAVEN OF REST

Henry Gilmour

My soul in sad exile was out on life’s sea,
So burdened with sin and distressed,
Till I heard a sweet voice, saying,
“Make Me your choice”;
And I entered the “Haven of Rest”!

I’ve anchored my soul in the “Haven of Rest,”
I’ll sail the wide seas no more;
The tempest may sweep over wild, stormy deep,
In Jesus I’m safe evermore.

I yielded myself to His tender embrace,
In faith taking hold of the Word,
My fetters fell off, and I anchored my soul;
The “Haven of Rest” is my Lord.

The song of my soul, since the Lord made me whole,
Has been the old story so blessed,
Of Jesus, who’ll save whosoever will have
A home in the “Haven of Rest.”

I’ve anchored my soul in the “Haven of Rest,”
I’ll sail the wide seas no more;
The tempest may sweep over wild, stormy deep,
In Jesus I’m safe evermore.

How precious the thought that we all may recline,
Like John, the beloved so blessed,
On Jesus’ strong arm, where no tempest can harm,
Secure in the “Haven of Rest.”

O come to the Savior, He patiently waits
To save by His power divine;
Come, anchor your soul in the “Haven of Rest,”
And say, “My Beloved is mine.”

I’ve anchored my soul in the “Haven of Rest,”
I’ll sail the wide seas no more;
The tempest may sweep over wild, stormy deep,
In Jesus I’m safe evermore.

WHY NOT?

Pattie Hawkins

I always thought when He called,
I'd say, "Here am I, send me,"
But when I heard my name and saw the task,
"Choose someone else," I'd plea.
I'd give Him all the reasons
Why I wasn't qualified.
He'd say He's heard them all before,
Was that the best that I could find?
Then He would remind me that I was in His hand,
And He equips His children to carry out His plan.

He'd ask, "Why not when I've got everything you need?"
"It's not your strength, but mine, that supplies the victory."
When I've given Him all the excuses that I've got,
Then I turn and ask, "Why me, Lord?"
And He answers me, "Why not?"

It wasn't the great talent
Of the trumpeter that caused
The tumbling down on the seventh day
Of those mighty Jericho walls.
David wasn't famous
For his slingshot or his aim,
But he had a willing faithful heart,
And God's promise He did claim.
Jonah ran the other way
When God said, "Go tell."
But Ninevah didn't look that bad
From the belly of a whale.

He'd ask, "Why not when I've got everything you need?"
"It's not your strength, but mine, that supplies the victory."
When I've given Him all the excuses that I've got,
Then I turn and ask, "Why me, Lord?"
And He answers me, "Why not?"

I WILL WORSHIP YOU

My God is faithful
My God is truthful
My God is boundless in all He is
My God is wisdom
My God is righteous
My God is vision for all who seek

So I will worship You
In the beauty of holiness
And I will worship You
For the things You’ve done in me
And when my life’s complete
I’ll place my crown at Your feet
And I will worship You on bended knee

My God is power, My God is glory
My God is ruler over all that is
My God is timeless, My God is justice
My God is mercy to the oppressed

So I will worship You
In the beauty of holiness
And I will worship You
For the things You’ve done in me
And when my life’s complete
I’ll place my crown at Your feet
And I will worship You on bended knee

His name is love, His voice is thunder
His heart is tender, His hand is strong

So I will worship You
In the beauty of holiness
And I will worship You
For the things You’ve done in me
And when my life’s complete
I’ll place my crown at Your feet
And I will worship You on bended knee

HAVE THINE OWN WAY, LORD

Adelaide Pollard

Have thine own way, Lord!
Have thine own way!
Thou art the potter,
I am the clay.
Mold me and make me
After thy will,
While I am waiting,
Yielded and still.

Have thine own way, Lord!
Have thine own way!
Search me and try me,
Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord,
Wash me just now,
As in thy presence
Humbly I bow.

Have thine own way, Lord!
Have thine own way!
Wounded and weary,
Help me I pray!
Power, all power,
Surely is thine!
Touch me and heal me,
Savior divine!

Have thine own way, Lord!
Have thine own way!
Hold o'er my being
Absolute sway.
Fill with thy Spirit
Till all shall see
Christ only, always,
Living in me!

Here Am I, Lord

Author Unknown

Lord, I give my life to you,
Take control each day.
I will follow anywhere
Near or far away.

Here am I, Lord, send me,
Here am I, Lord, send me!
I will serve you faithfully
Here am I, Lord, send me.

Lord, I want your perfect will
Be my faithful Guide
I will never be afraid,
You are close beside.

Here am I, Lord, send me,
Here am I, Lord, send me!
I will serve you faithfully
Here am I, Lord, send me.

Let me see my mission field,
All around each day.
Fill my heart with Jesus love,
Use me Lord, I pray!

Here am I, Lord, send me,
Here am I, Lord, send me!
I will serve you faithfully
Here am I, Lord, send me.

ARE YOU READY?

Author Unknown

The hour is approaching when the souls of man will hear
A mighty shout resounding in the sky.
In power and great glory, King Jesus will appear
And take His children home to paradise.
It will be a celebration for the ones who chose His name
But total separation for the ones who turned away.

Are you ready for the trumpet,
Are you ready for the call?
Soon the angels will assemble
To usher in the Son of God.
Will He come and find you faithful?
Will He know your name at all?
Every moment brings us closer,
Are you ready for the call?

The Bible speaks of two men who were standing in the field
Where one is taken and one is left behind.
Two women in the kitchen, one goes and one remains
So get your house in order while there's time
In the cross there is salvation,
Through the blood there is a way
To secure your destination on resurrection day.

Are you ready for the trumpet,
Are you ready for the call?
Soon the angels will assemble
To usher in the Son of God.
Will He come and find you faithful?
Will He know your name at all?
Every moment brings us closer,
Are you ready for the call?

There's an urgency to reach the world
We have no time to waste
For within the heart of mortal man
This very question is now made

Are you ready for the trumpet,
Are you ready for the call?
Soon the angels will assemble
To usher in the Son of God.
Will He come and find you faithful?
Will He know your name at all?
Every moment brings us closer,
Are you ready for the call?

UNTITLED HYMN (COME TO JESUS)

Chris Rice

Weak and wounded sinner
Lost and left to die

O, raise your head, for love is passing by

Come to Jesus

Come to Jesus

Come to Jesus and live!

Now your burden's lifted

And carried far away

And precious blood has washed away the stain, so

Sing to Jesus

Sing to Jesus

Sing to Jesus and live!

And like a newborn baby

Don't be afraid to crawl

And remember when you walk

Sometimes we fall...so

Fall on Jesus

Fall on Jesus

Fall on Jesus and live!

Sometimes the way is lonely

And steep and filled with pain

So if your sky is dark and pours the rain, then

Cry to Jesus

Cry to Jesus

Cry to Jesus and live!

O, and when the love spills over

And music fills the night

And when you can't contain your joy inside, then

Dance for Jesus

Dance for Jesus

Dance for Jesus and live!

And with your final heartbeat

Kiss the world goodbye

Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and

Fly to Jesus

Fly to Jesus

Fly to Jesus and live!

DOUBLE DOSE

McCray Dove

I want a double dose of Jesus' blessings,
I want a double dose of Jesus' power.
Let me have a taste of that holy water,
And let us pray that He comes this very hour.

Just like Elijah walking with Elisha;
A double dose is what I ask of You.
Just a double portion of Your sweet Spirit
Will be power enough to make it through.

I want a double dose of Jesus' blessings,
I want a double dose of Jesus' power.
Let me have a taste of that holy water,
And let us pray that He comes this very hour.

Oh, as I walk through this dusty desert,
Oh, the water seems mighty scarce.
But when it comes up to the surface,
I take a little bit more than my share.

I want a double dose of Jesus' blessings,
I want a double dose of Jesus' power.
Let me have a taste of that holy water,
And let us pray that He comes this very hour.

JESUS IS COMING SOON

R.E. Winsett

Troublesome times are here
Filling men’s hearts with fear,
Freedom we all hold dear now is at stake.
Humbling your heart to God
Saves from the chastening rod.
Seek the way pilgrims trod, Christians awake!

Jesus is coming soon,
Morning or night or noon,
Many will meet their doom,
Trumpets will sound.
All of the dead shall rise,
Righteous meet in the sky,
Going where no one dies,
Heavenward bound!

Troubles will soon be o’er,
Happy forever more,
When we meet on that shore,
Free from all care.
Rising up in the sky,
Telling this world goodbye,
Homeward we then will fly, glory to share.

Jesus is coming soon,
Morning or night or noon,
Many will meet their doom,
Trumpets will sound.
All of the dead shall rise,
Righteous meet in the sky,
Going where no one dies,
Heavenward bound!

HOMESICK

(The following song was sung at Katrina's funeral on Saturday. The service was very moving.)

Author Unknown

You're in a better place, I've heard a thousand times
And at least a thousand times I've rejoiced for you
But the reason why I'm broken, the reason why I cry
Is how long must I wait to be with you

I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now

Help me, Lord, cause I don't understand your ways
The reason why I wonder if I'll ever know
But, even if you showed me, the hurt would be the same
'Cause I'm still here so far away from home

I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now

In Christ, there are no goodbyes
And in Christ, there is no end
So I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I have
To see you again
To see you again

And I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now

CLEANSE ME

J. Edwin Orr

Search me, O God,
And know my heart today;
Try me, O Savior,
Know my thoughts, I pray.
See if there be
Some wicked way in me;
Cleanse me from every sin
And set me free.

I praise Thee, Lord,
For cleansing me from sin;
Fulfill Thy Word,
And make me pure within.
Fill me with fire
Where once I burned with shame;
Grant my desire
To magnify Thy Name.

Lord, take my life,
And make it wholly Thine;
Fill my poor heart
With Thy great love divine.
Take all my will,
My passion, self and pride;
I now surrender, Lord
In me abide.

O Holy Spirit,
Revival comes from Thee;
Send a revival,
Start the work in me.
Thy Word declares
Thou wilt supply our need;
For blessings now,
O Lord, I humbly plead.

DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT

Bill Schell

We're marching into battle,
Our weapons in our hands;
Salvation is our armor,
Our weapon is God's plan.
We're fighting for the righteous,
The merit of the truth;
Our mighty captain's Jesus,
And He will lead us through.

Don't give up the fight,
For the battle's almost over,
Don't give up the fight,
Soon the enemy will give in.
Don't give up the fight,
Sweet victory is coming,
This could be the final battle,
And tomorrow we could win.

We're marching through the fire,
Marching through the flood;
Marching on with power,
Marching with the blood.
Our hearts are fixed on heaven,
Our minds on going home;
We're marching through the valley,
But we'll not march alone.

Don't give up the fight,
For the battle's almost over,
Don't give up the fight,
Soon the enemy will give in.
Don't give up the fight,
Sweet victory is coming,
This could be the final battle,
And tomorrow we could win.

LOVE GREW WHERE THE BLOOD FELL

John Stallings

See my Jesus on the cross, the people crying
Looking on, a man would think it tragedy
But what the world could not see
Was when they nailed Him to that tree
It would break the chains of sin's captivity.

Love grew where the blood fell
Flow'rs of hope sprang up for men in misery
Sin died where the blood fell
I'm so glad this precious blood has covered me.

Thorns of violence and hate were growing wildly,
And the sorrow they had caused was plain to see
But when the blood came streaming down that cross
Where my Jesus bled and died
It started blossoms of forgiveness growing free!

Love grew where the blood fell
Flow'rs of hope sprang up for men in misery
Sin died where the blood fell
I'm so glad this precious blood has covered me.

SOME CALL IT HEAVEN

Squire Parsons

Somewhere beyond the grave,
There is a land
Where Jesus went to prepare
By His own hand.
And for the saved by grace,
There is a resting place,
And in a few more days
It will be mine.

Some call it heaven,
But I call it home
Some call it dreamin'
Well, let me dream on,
Some call it paradise,
Somewhere beyond the skies,
Some call it heaven,
But I call it home.

Someone said you can't go
Back home again,
Things will not ever be
As good as they've been.
Oh, but I've got good news for you,
When heaven comes into view
Just one glimpse and you will know
The best is yet to come.

Some call it heaven,
But I call it home
Some call it dreamin'
Well, let me dream on,
Some call it paradise,
Somewhere beyond the skies,
Some call it heaven,
But I call it home.

CASTLES IN THE SAND

Mosie Lister

Like a child by the seashore
Building castles in the sand
Foolish dreams I have dreamed
Day by day
Leaving God out completely
Till the day my castles grand
Fell apart in the tide and swept away

Castles built upon the sand
Though they seem to be so grand
Will surely melt away
For in life’s raging storm they cannot stand
In the Rock of the Ages
All my hopes are built today
And in the Rock they will never pass away

In each life, storms will gather
Rains descend and wild winds blow
Wise the man who in God
Is anchored fast
Are you then like that wise man?
Are you anchored do you know?
You are safe till the storms of life are past

Castles built upon the sand
Though they seem to be so grand
Will surely melt away
For in life’s raging storm they cannot stand
In the Rock of the Ages
All my hopes are built today
And in the Rock they will never pass away

KNOWING WHAT I KNOW ABOUT HEAVEN

Author Unknown

I bet the trumpets played and the angels sang
Every sweet refrain of Amazing Grace
And that Heaven's hands opened up the gate
And the children danced when they saw your face
As happy as they were to see you coming
I was just as sad to have to watch you go

Oh, but knowing what I know about heaven
Believing that you're all the way home
Knowing that you're somewhere better
Is all I need to let you go
I could hope that I could pray you back
But why on earth would I do that
When you're somewhere life and love never ends
Knowing what I know about heaven

Where every single voice makes a joyful noise
How sweet the sound when the saints rejoice
To every broken heart and every wounded soul
New life begins on streets of gold
Where every tear is raining here from my eyes
I know the sun is shining where you are

But knowing what I know about heaven
Believing that you're all the way home
Knowing that you're somewhere better
Is all I need to let you go
I could hope that I could pray you back
But why on earth would I do that
When you're somewhere life and love never ends
Knowing what I know about heaven

WHEN KING JESUS COMES AGAIN

Maurice L. Delamont

All the armies of the world will one day gather
And they'll pass before the great reviewing stand
And they'll beat their swords and weapons onto plowshares
And the Prince of Peace shall give the last command

When King Jesus comes to live with us again
He will show His righteous love to every man
Wars and strife will all be passed
They'll be peace on earth at last
When King Jesus comes to live with us again

Unobscured the sun will drive away the shadows
At the dawning of that great eternal day
And they'll be no sound of crying in the ghettos
For all grief and pain and death shall pass away

When King Jesus comes to live with us again
He will show His righteous love to every man
Wars and strife will all be passed
They'll be peace on earth at last
When King Jesus comes to live with us again

PEOPLE NEED THE LORD

Phillip J. McHugh & Gregory Allan Nelson

Everyday they pass me by,
I can see it in their eyes.
Empty people filled with care,
Headed who knows where?
On they go through private pain,
Living fear to fear.
Laughter hides their silent cries,
Only Jesus hears.

People need the Lord,
People need the Lord.
At the end of broken dreams,
He's the open door.
People need the Lord,
People need the Lord.
When will we realize,
People need the Lord?

We are called to take His light
To a world where wrong seems right.
What could be too great a cost
For sharing Life with one who's lost?
Through His love our hearts can feel
All the grief they bear.
They must hear the Words of Life
Only we can share.

People need the Lord,
People need the Lord.
At the end of broken dreams,
He's the open door.
People need the Lord,
People need the Lord.
When will we realize,
People need the Lord?

ALL ALONG

Rebecca J. Peck & Mark Lanier

Time just drifts away as I look back on the years
Of memories of happiness and bitter tears
Through it all there is a common thread
That cannot be ignored
You were there
Teaching me to be your servant, Lord

All along Your hand has been guiding me
Shaping my life to be a beautiful song
All along You've led me through
Things that you knew would make me strong
Your love has been there all along

Every joy and pain had a reason of its own
And now I realize I was not alone
The changing seasons of my life
Were not left up to chance
Lord, I know You were working
To fulfill your plan

All along Your hand has been guiding me
Shaping my life to be a beautiful song
All along You've led me through
Things that you knew would make me strong
Your love has been there all along

Tomorrow when I turn around
And look back at today
I will understand Your purpose
And my thankful heart will say

All along Your hand has been guiding me
Shaping my life to be a beautiful song
All along You've led me through
Things that you knew would make me strong
Your love has been there all along

PRESS ON, IT WON'T BE VERY LONG

Theodore Sisk

THERE IS JOY IN MY SOUL,
SINCE JESUS TOOK CONTROL.
HE PLACED WITHIN MY HEART A HAPPY SONG.
THE JOY BELLS SWEETLY RING,
WHILE OF HIS LOVE I SING.
PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG.

PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG, (NOT LONG)
UNTIL WE REACH THAT LAND OF SONG.
IN HEAVEN SOME SWEET DAY
I'M GOING THERE TO STAY.
PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG.

HE FILLS MY WAY WITH CHEER,
WITH HIM I HAVE NO FEAR
HE GUIDES MY WEARY STEPS ALONG THE WAY.
I'M GLAD HE PROMISED ME
A MANSION FULL AND FREE
PRESS ON, IT WON'T BE VERY LONG.

PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG, (NOT LONG)
UNTIL WE REACH THAT LAND OF SONG.
IN HEAVEN SOME SWEET DAY
I'M GOING THERE TO STAY.
PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG.

IN HEAVEN I AM TOLD
THE STREETS ARE MADE OF GOLD,
OH, WHAT A HAPPY PLACE TO CALL MY HOME.
UNITED THERE WILL BE,
WE'LL SHOUT THE VICTORY.
PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG.

PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG, (NOT LONG)
UNTIL WE REACH THAT LAND OF SONG.
IN HEAVEN SOME SWEET DAY
I'M GOING THERE TO STAY.
PRESS ON IT WON'T BE VERY LONG.

If We've Ever Needed You

John Mark Hall & Bernie Herms

Hear our cry, Lord, we pray
Our faces down, our hands are raised
You called us out, we turned away
We've turned away

With shipwrecked faith the idols rise
We do what is right in our own eyes
Our children now will pay the price
We need Your light, Lord, shine Your light

If we've ever needed You
Lord, it's now, Lord, it's now
We are desperate for Your hand
We're reaching out, we're reaching out

All our hearts, all our strength
With all our minds, we're at Your feet
May Your kingdom come in our hearts and lives
Let Your church arise, let Your church arise

If we've ever needed You
Lord, it's now, Lord, it's now
We are desperate for Your hand
We're reaching out, we're reaching out
We're reaching out

UNDER GOD

Phil Johnson & Sue C. Smith

Half a century ago, two simple words
Declared a truth that's planted in our hearts
And every time the flag is raised
We've been honored to repeat the phrase
So the world will know we are...

Under God, America's been blessed.
Under God, brought through every trial and test
We are sheltered by the mercy He chose to give
In privilege and abundance, this nation lives
Under God, freedom has survived
Under God, we need to recognize
We're dependent on His goodness
Indebted to His care
Maybe more than any people anytime or anywhere
Still our only hope and prayer is under God

When we pledge allegiance now, it's under God
Those words have shaped the land that we hold dear
Some insist it's not allowed
To acknowledge that we need Him now
But it has never been so clear

Under God, America's been blessed.
Under God, brought through every trial and test
We are sheltered by the mercy He chose to give
In privilege and abundance, this nation lives
Under God, freedom has survived
Under God, we need to recognize
We're dependent on His goodness
Indebted to His care
Maybe more than any people anytime or anywhere
Still our only hope and prayer is under God

WHAT WE NEEDED

Author Unknown

We have never seen all through history
That a man could save himself
Every work of man since the world began
Never kept one soul from hell
But God looked down in grace and love
And met our greatest need
By His own hand and His perfect plan
We are free, yes, free indeed

What we needed was a Savior, pure and sinless
Dying for the wrong we’d done
What we needed was a Holy Sacrifice
God’s only begotten Son
When the world all around was bound for hell
All earthly hope was lost
What we needed was the grace and mercy
God provided on a rugged cross

Many men have tried to be satisfied
By the things this world affords
They have placed their faith in another way
And rejected Christ our Lord
But the Father longs to reveal to them
What they needed all along
It is there to claim in Jesus’ name
At the cross, sin’s stain is gone

What we needed was a Savior, pure and sinless
Dying for the wrong we’d done
What we needed was a Holy Sacrifice
God’s only begotten Son
When the world all around was bound for hell
All earthly hope was lost
What we needed was the grace and mercy
God provided on a rugged cross

CALL ON JESUS

Nicole C. Mullen

I'm so very ordinary
Nothing special on my own
Oh, and I have never walked on water
And I have never calmed a storm
Sometimes I'm hiding away
From the madness around me
Like a child who's afraid of the dark

When I call on Jesus, all things are possible
I can mount on wings like eagles and soar
When I call on Jesus, mountains are gonna fall
'Cause He'll move Heaven and earth to come rescue me when I call

Weary brother, broken daughter
Widowed, widowed lover, you're not alone
If you're tired and scared
Of the madness around you
If you can't find the strength to carry on

When you call on Jesus, all things are possible
You can mount on wings like eagles and soar
When you call on Jesus, mountains are gonna fall
'Cause He'll move Heaven and earth to come rescue you when you

Call Him in the mornin', in the afternoon time
Late in the evenin', He'll be there
When your heart is broken and you feel discouraged
You can just remember that He said, He'll be there

When I call on Jesus, all things are possible
I can mount on wings like eagles and soar
When I call on Jesus, mountains are gonna fall
'Cause He'll move Heaven and earth to come rescue me when I call

THE GREAT I AM STILL IS

Phil Cross & Twila LaBar

Israel’s deliverer, divider of the sea
The conqueror of Jericho, Jehovah set them free
Some think of these as fables with no relevance today
But God’s past power never passed away

The Great I Am still is
The heavens and the earth are His
He’s the merciful all mighty, forever holy
In everything we must remember this
The Great I Am still is

To all the walking wounded ones who seek to make things right
To stranded souls in darkness who long to see the light
For those who tread a troubled road and feel they can’t go on
There is a promise we can stand upon

The Great I Am still is
The heavens and the earth are His
He’s the merciful all mighty, forever holy
In everything we must remember this
The Great I Am still is

I stand in every test
For the Great I Am still is
I could lose it all and still be blessed
Yes, the Great I Am still is
I’m a sinner saved by grace because
The Great I Am still is
O, but I’m not today what I once was
But the Great I Am still is

The Great I Am still is
The heavens and the earth are His
He’s the merciful all mighty, forever holy
In everything we must remember this
The Great I Am still is

GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

George W. Sebren

LAYING UP MY TREASURES IN THAT HOME ABOVE
TRUSTING, FULLY TRUSTING IN THE SAVIOR'S LOVE
DOING WHAT I CAN FOR HEAVEN'S HOLY DOVE
I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD
I'M GETTING READY FOR THE GATES OF PEARL
KEEPING MY RECORD BRIGHT
WATCHING BOTH DAY AND NIGHT
I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

TRUSTING IN THE RICHES OF HIS SAVING GRACE
IN EACH EARTHLY TRIAL I HIS LOVE CAN TRACE
SURE THAT UP IN HEAVEN I SHALL FIND A PLACE
I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD
I'M GETTING READY FOR THE GATES OF PEARL
KEEPING MY RECORD BRIGHT
WATCHING BOTH DAY AND NIGHT
I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

TO PREPARE A MANSION JESUS SAID, "I'LL GO,
IF IT WERE NOT TRUE, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU SO"
JUST A LITTLE WHILE TO LINGER HERE BELOW
I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD
I'M GETTING READY FOR THE GATES OF PEARL
KEEPING MY RECORD BRIGHT
WATCHING BOTH DAY AND NIGHT
I'M GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD

RESTORE MY SOUL

Ken Harrell

So stressed,no hope
Where do I go now?
Seems like all of life's tests
Take me further from You
It amazes me how You rescue me
From a world that moves so fast
So completely You receive me
Into your arms at last

With a single prayer
You restore my soul
When life's not fair
I know where to go
To renew my strength
To keep going on
No I'll never be alone
With a single prayer
You restore my soul

Lord, You give me strength
To know when I'm weak
And to see Your guiding hand
When I get down on my knees
Piece by piece
You make me whole again

With a single prayer
You restore my soul
When life's not fair
I know where to go
To renew my strength
To keep going on
No I'll never be alone
With a single prayer
You restore my soul

(I really like the words to this song, but all the recordings I could find were a little too "out there" for my taste. So, I decided to just go with the lyrics.)

HE'S STILL WORKING ON ME

Joel Hemphill

He's still working on me
To make me what I ought to be.
It took Him just a week
To make the moon and stars,
The sun and the earth
And Jupiter and Mars.
How loving and patient He must be,
He's still working on me.

There really ought to be
A sign upon the heart,
Don't judge her yet,
There's an unfinished part.
But I'll be perfect just according to His plan
Fashioned by the Master's loving hands.

He's still working on me
To make me what I ought to be.
It took Him just a week
To make the moon and stars,
The sun and the earth
And Jupiter and Mars.
How loving and patient He must be,
He's still working on me.

In the mirror of His Word
Reflections that I see
Make me wonder why
He never gave up on me.
He loves me as I am
And helps me when I pray
Remember He's the Potter, I'm the clay.

He's still working on me
To make me what I ought to be.
It took Him just a week
To make the moon and stars,
The sun and the earth
And Jupiter and Mars.
How loving and patient He must be,
He's still working on me.

I WON'T LOOK AT THE LIONS

Rodney Griffin

As I go a walking on the journey
I often am tempted as I go
To focus my attention on the worry
When I should be looking at the One who's in control
That's when I open up the Bible
And see where the men of God turned their eyes
When they were overcome by tribulation
They just kept looking toward the prize

Daniel did not look at the lions
Stephen did not look at the stones
David did not look at Goliath
Though Goliath looked so big and strong
Moses did not look at the Red Sea
Noah did not look at the flood
Daniel did not look at the lions
When he put his trust in God

So when a roaring lion comes against you
Well, don't let him distract you as you run
Just keep your eyes upon the Savior
He will guide you safely 'til your work on earth is done
Well, remember all the heroes of the Bible
Were just common folks who took the time to pray
When our eyes are fixed upon the Father
We'll never have a need to turn away

Daniel did not look at the lions
Stephen did not look at the stones
David did not look at Goliath
Though Goliath looked so big and strong
Moses did not look at the Red Sea
Noah did not look at the flood
Daniel did not look at the lions
When he put his trust in God

I won't look at the lions,
No, I won't look at the stones
I won't look at Goliath
Though Goliath looks so big and strong
I won't look at the Red Sea
I won't look at the flood
I won't look a the lions
When I put my trust in God

LORD, I LIFT YOUR NAME ON HIGH

Rick Founds

Lord, I lift your name on high
Lord, I love to sing your praises
I'm so glad you're in my life
I'm so glad you came to save us.

You came from heaven to earth to show the way
From the earth to the cross, my debt to pay
From the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky
Lord, I lift your name on high.

TRUST AND OBEY

John H. Sammis

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

THE HEALER

Gerald Crabb

She pressed through the crowd so weak and so frail
So often she'd reached out but her efforts failed
With faith so persistent determined she must touch Jesus
Her friends said just give up for after twelve years
Of heartaches and failures, disappointments and fears
Accept your condition, with the multitude He will not see us

I can hear her rejoicing as she looks down the lane
She sees someone coming, and they're calling His name
Son of David, Messiah; she heard someone call Him the Healer
The crippled and lame were now leaping for joy
Those who were blind were beholding the Lord
Would this be the moment or would hindrances many conceal her?

Her heart beat so fast as He came into sight
Her emotions were filled with both joy and with fright
She let Him pass by but not out of reach
As she touched His garments He turned to speak

Someone's been healed today
A miracle passed your way
Who touched my clothes
You now are made whole
Step forward and claim
Your faith has pulled you through
Your healing has come to you
You can receive today right now in Jesus' name

Though Satan says give up, you're close to a miracle
Jesus is passing your way
God's still in business and does the impossible
Sending down blessings each day

You can be healed today
He'll let a miracle pass your way
Reach out touch his clothes
You can be made whole
Step forward and claim
Your faith will pull you through
Your healing will come to you
You can receive today right now in Jesus' name
The Healer is passing your way

WALK THOU WITH ME

E.B. Barnes

Walk Thou with me, nor let my footsteps stray
Apart from Thee, throughout life's threatening way;
Be Thou my Guide, the Path I cannot see;
Close to Thy side, Lord, let me walk with Thee.

Dear Savior, let me trust my hand in Thine,
And let me know Thy steps are guiding mine;
Life's changing way is oft times dark to me,
I fear no ill if I may walk with Thee.

Through weary years my way hath miry been;
My bitter tears Thy pitying eye hath seen;
My fainting heart hath heard Thy voice divine;
My trembling hand asks but to rest in Thine.

Dear Savior, let me trust my hand in Thine,
And let me know Thy steps are guiding mine;
Life's changing way is oft times dark to me,
I fear no ill if I may walk with Thee.

No earthly foe can give my spirit fear;
No threatening woe can quail when Thou art near;
No tempter's snare can turn my steps aside,
For in Thy care, I'm safe whate'er betide.

Dear Savior, let me trust my hand in Thine,
And let me know Thy steps are guiding mine;
Life's changing way is oft times dark to me,
I fear no ill if I may walk with Thee.

IN MY ROBE OF WHITE

Geniece Spencer Ingold

In my robe of white, I will fly away.
To that land so fair, meet my Jesus there;
It will be so grand when I get to that land
In my robe of white, I will fly away.

First I'll hear the trumpet sound,
Then all the saints will be heaven bound
We will cross over Jordan wide,
Stop and view the other side.
There I'll see those holy hills
And my mansion He has built,
I'll be the first one in the line,
I want to see my name in the Book of Life.

In my robe of white, I will fly away.
To that land so fair, meet my Jesus there;
It will be so grand when I get to that land
In my robe of white, I will fly away.

It's gonna be a wonderful time
When I get to the other side
See my loved ones gone before,
We'll depart from them no more;
We'll be walking on streets of gold,
Surrounded by riches untold,
When I first look on Jesus' face,
I'll know I'm saved by His amazing grace.

In my robe of white, I will fly away.
To that land so fair, meet my Jesus there;
It will be so grand when I get to that land
In my robe of white, I will fly away.

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE

Bart Millard

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

Surrounded by Your glory,
What will my heart feel
Will I dance for you, Jesus
Or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah,
Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When that day comes
When I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship You
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

Surrounded by Your glory,
What will my heart feel
Will I dance for you, Jesus
Or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah,
Will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine

I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship you

A ROSE AMONG THE THORNS

Earnest C. Martin

While strolling through the fields of time,
There's many things to see.
But nature is the greatest site
That there could ever be.
The greatest of all to me
Is how the world was formed.
And why the roses have to live
Each day among the thorns.

One day among a world of thorns
A Rose began to grow.
It was the greatest gift of God
This world will ever know.
It was the will of God to show
That since the world was formed
There had to be a Rose to live
And die among the thorns.

Two thousand years will soon be gone
Since God looked down in love.
There in the town of Bethlehem
A Rose began to bud.
It lived to bloom until one day
Was crushed with awful frown.
And then in love from God above
Was moved to higher ground.

One day among a world of thorns
A Rose began to grow.
It was the greatest gift of God
This world will ever know.
It was the will of God to show
That since the world was formed
There had to be a Rose to live
And die among the thorns.

PAID IN FULL THROUGH JESUS, AMEN

Rodney Griffin

This world cannot accuse me of sin,
It's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
I'm a child of God, I'm the next of kin
To the One whose glory fills me within.
Still amazed at what the Lord can do;
How His touch of grace is gonna take me through
To a place of joy that will have no end,
Made possible for the born again,
And it's paid in full through Jesus, amen!

There was a woman who met with Jesus
At a well in the heat of the day
She found the water but left her bucket
To go and tell she'd found the way.
I'm sure the scoffers must have gathered
The ones who'd known her life before,
And when they told her "You're still a sinner,"
I know she shouted out the door.
She said. . .

This world cannot accuse me of sin,
It's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
I'm a child of God, I'm the next of kin
To the One whose glory fills me within.
Still amazed at what the Lord can do;
How His touch of grace is gonna take me through
To a place of joy that will have no end,
Made possible for the born again,
And it's paid in full through Jesus, amen!

Just like the woman, I needed Jesus
To come cleanse this heart of mine.
My sinful choices had separated
Me from holiness divine.
So when the doubters came and wondered
If this change in me would last,
I boldly told them, "I've been to Calv'ry,
And all my sin is in the past."
I said. . .

This world cannot accuse me of sin,
It's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
I'm a child of God, I'm the next of kin
To the One whose glory fills me within.
Still amazed at what the Lord can do;
How His touch of grace is gonna take me through
To a place of joy that will have no end,
Made possible for the born again,
And it's paid in full through Jesus, amen!
