SOMEDAY

Joe Moscheo

Someday, I'm gonna see my Jesus
Someday, over the blue
Someday, I'm going to join the chorus
My friend how about you

Someday, I'm gonna be happy
And someday, I'm going to shout
Someday, I'm gonna see 'ol Jonah
Then someday, I'll know all about it
Someday, won't it be grand
One day, we'll walk with the angels
In that bright wonderful land

Jesus, I'm getting' ready now to meet you
Jesus, I'll never more roam
Jesus, I'm anxious now to get there
To my fair heavenly home

Jesus, I want to look at your face
Jesus, I want to hold your hand
Jesus, I want to walk and talk with you
Up and down that golden strand

Someday, I'm gonna be happy
And someday, I'm gonna shout
Someday, Samson will tell me
All about that Philistine bout
Someday, I'll know all about it
Someday, won't it be grand
One day, I'll walk with the angels
In that bright wonderful land

Someday, I'm a gonna be happy
And some, some, some day I'm gonna fly
Someday, someday we all be together
Someday by and by

BE STILL, MY SOUL

Katharina Von Schlege

Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to your God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: your best, your heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul: your God will undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Your hope, your confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds shall know
His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart,
And all is darkened in the vale of tears,
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears.
Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.

Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

STAND STILL

Author Unknown

The Father has a plan, though it's hard to see it now
You feel you're walking all alone, but He is there no doubt
When the storm around you rages, and you're tossed to and fro
When you're faced with life's decisions, not sure which way to go

Stand still and let God move,
Standing still is hard to do
When you feel you have reached the end
He'll make a way for you
Stand still and let God move

When the enemy surrounds you and the walls are closing in
When the tide is swiftly rising, and you wonder where He's been
Friend, there never was a moment that His arms weren't reaching out
You can rest assured and be secure, God is moving right now

Stand still and let God move
Standing still is hard to do
When you feel you have reached the end,
He'll make a way for you
Stand still and let God move

HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

Sandy Knight

It’s not like me to drag my feet
I’m gonna step high to the other side
When I enter that city, oh my, what a heavenly sight
Gonna lift my hands in the promised land
Jump for joy when I see the Lord
You’re gonna hear a great shout
When I hit the ground
On the other side

I’m gonna hit the ground running
Gonna sweep through the gate
Gonna make it in a hurry
I don’t wanna be late
I’ve got a lot of livin’ to do when I go through
Gotta make it without delay
Gonna hit the ground running
Racin’ through the pearly gates

Gonna take a walk, gonna have a talk
Gonna wear a smile, gonna laugh for a while
Gonna be happy forever my Lord and I
I know its gonna be just an everyday thing
Gathering around God’s throne to sing
Lord, I’m in a rush, Lord, I wanna touch
Those golden streets

I’m gonna hit the ground running
Gonna sweep through the gate
Gonna make it in a hurry
I don’t wanna be late
I’ve got a lot of livin’ to do when I go through
Gotta make it without delay
Gonna hit the ground running
Racin’ through the pearly gates

HOLD ME WHILE I CRY

Gerald Crabb

It's been one of those days
If anything could go wrong it went wrong
I know I'm feeling sorry for me
There's a lot of self-pity going on
Tomorrow I will be okay
The dawn will bring a brand new day
I'm sure by then I'll be fine
Lord, today I really need a friend
I know that you would understand
Would you hold me while I cry?

I take a lot of your time
When I should be strong
I should be standing by now when it's you I'm leaning on
You've always kept me safe from harm, like a child in your arms
You've cradled me through hardships faced in life
Lord, it's just one of those days I've been fought in every way
Will you hold me while I cry?

I try to be strong but if anyone can fall apart, I fall apart
I run back to you again, and you heal my broken heart
You have truly been a friend, reaching out to lend a hand,
Lord, when you could have passed me by
I'm asking for your strength today
Lift my spirit, Lord, I pray
Will you just hold me while I cry

I take a lot of your time when I should be strong
I should be standing by now when it's you I'm leaning on
You've always kept me safe from harm like a child in your arms
You've cradled me through hardships faced in life
Lord it's just one of those days
I've been fought in every way
Will you hold me while I cry

WHITER THAN SNOW

Author Unknown

Lost and so lonely just a pilgrim was I
I had no future. I wasn’t ready to die
But then I met the Master, what a Friend just to know
For he took me to Calvary washed me whiter than snow

Now I'm saved, yes, I’m saved by his marvelous grace
Now I’m a child of that heavenly race
Now my heart is full of gladness and my life is aglow
For he took me to Calvary and washed me whiter than snow

Now, I don’t have much money
Or this world's wealth or fame
But there’s one thing that’s for certain
Jesus knows me by name
And although I once was nothing, now to heaven I will go
For he took me to Calvary and washed me whiter than snow

Now I'm saved, yes, I’m saved by his marvelous grace
Now I’m a child of that heavenly race
Now my heart is full of gladness and my life is aglow
For he took me to Calvary and washed me whiter than snow

A WALL OF PRAYER

Kyla Rowland

There are walls made by man
Built by frail and human hands
That an enemy can scale and get to you.
But there is one protecting me
From my greatest enemy
It’s a wall that Satan can’t break through.

Sometimes a wall of grace
Sometimes a wall of faith
Other times it’s sweet mercy that I need.
But the one for which I long
It makes all the others strong.
I need a wall of prayer surrounding me.

Oh my brother when I’m weak
Would you stand instead for me
And pray a fortress ‘round me strong that can’t be moved.
And I promise you today
When I bow my knees to pray
I’ll do my best to build a wall of prayer for you

Sometimes a wall of grace
Sometimes a wall of faith
Other times it’s sweet mercy that I need.
But the one for which I long
It makes all the others strong.
I need a wall of prayer surrounding me.

JERUSALEM

Paula Stefanovich

John saw a city that could not be hid

John saw a city, oh yes, he did
John caught a glimpse of the golden throne
Tell me all about it, go right on
Around the throne he saw the crystal sea
There's got to be more, what will it be?
I want to go to that city he saw, New Jerusalem

Jerusalem, I want to walk your streets that are golden
And I want to run where the angels have trod
Jerusalem, I want to rest on the banks of your river
In that city, city of God

John saw the lion lay down by the lamb
I want to know everything about that land
John saw the day, but he did not see night
The lamb of God, well, He must be the Light
He saw the saints worship the great I Am
Crying worthy, worthy is the Lamb
I want to go to that city he saw, New Jerusalem

Jerusalem, I want to walk your streets that are golden
And I want to run where the angels have trod
Jerusalem, I want to rest on the banks of your river
In that city, city of God

Jerusalem, Jerusalem
Sing for the night is o'er
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna forever, forever more

Jerusalem, I want to walk your streets that are golden
And I want to run where the angels have trod
Jerusalem, I want to rest on the banks of your river
In that city, city of God

GIVER OF LIFE

Shauna Hord, Brian Hord, & Craig Hodges

I DON'T HAVE MUCH TO SAY TODAY AS I KNEEL BEFORE YOU
AND MY DAILY LIST OF THINGS TO DO
SEEMS OF NO IMPORTANCE
'CAUSE WHEN I THINK OF WHO YOU ARE
AND THE THINGS YOU'VE DONE FOR ME
I WANNA GIVE YOU ALL THAT I CAN GIVE
BUT, LORD, ALL I HAVE IS ME

GIVER OF LIFE, SUPREME SACRIFICE
MOLD ME INTO YOUR LIKENESS
MAKE ME MORE LIKE YOU
I WANNA BE WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE
A VESSEL STRONG AND TRUE
GIVER OF LIFE, I GIVE MY LIFE TO YOU

SEARCH ME, LORD, AND KNOW MY HEART
FEEL THE LOVE WITHIN
HEAR THE PRAISE IT RINGS FOR YOU
SEE THE JOY YOU GIVE
LET MY LIFE REFLECT YOUR LOVE
TO EVERYONE I SEE
I WANNA GIVE YOU ALL THAT I CAN GIVE
BUT LORD ALL I HAVE IS ME

GIVER OF LIFE, SUPREME SACRIFICE
MOLD ME INTO YOUR LIKENESS
MAKE ME MORE LIKE YOU
I WANNA BE WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE
A VESSEL STRONG AND TRUE
GIVER OF LIFE, I GIVE MY LIFE TO YOU
